2025.01.19 18:37 Pale-War-4387 28M stuck in IT, would you recommend dentistry?
So I’m from the UK, have a BSc in something unrelated to the healthcare profession (chemistry). I work in IT now and seem to be doing okay and I am content with where my salary is based on how much work I’m doing. However I always have this feeling in my head that it’s unstable and with the recent layoffs my time is coming soon.
I’m looking into dentistry via the graduate entry route and just thought I’d ask you guys if you would consider it or not? Would you recommend this field for someone who wants a stable job that isn’t open to potential layoffs?

2025.01.19 18:37 ConversationOk4773 Greenpoint seeds... No codilenins?! No email or text back?! Disappointed
 | I have been getting great results from Greenpoint the last few years. I know what Im doing at this point and what I'm about to say is what happened. It's not bugs that did it or anything. And I'm starting to think I'm right even more cause I can't get the owner, who usually writes me back within minutes and never more than a day. But I had bought some Dante's Inferno #8s1 seeds and I went to go start them and Solo cups like I usually do with Coco for and they sprouted but when they sprouted they had no codilenins (the first set of leaves after a seed pops). It was literally just a stick that was coming up out of the soil I'll include a couple pictures but since they were S1 seeds I thought that this might have been a genetic thing or something that messed up. But anyways I wrote the owner about six emails and I have not received one back, I have written two text messages and I have not received anything back, so I just assumed that I am not going to ever receive any information on this. I wasn't even mad I was just curious to know what had happened to these seeds. But since I have not been able to get a response from Greenpoint I'm going to put it on Reddit and change do I get my genetics from. It really pisses me off I have to make this but here it goes. I don’t want to have too much exhaust but was wondering if the 3 fans on the left would be better off as intake and only have the top two fans as exhaust or should I keep it as is? The radiator is gonna have a 6 fan sandwich so front and back of the radiator.

First post on here, looking for some feedback.
Saw another article today on when the “best time to book” vacation is, but wanted to share my experience and see what other people have encountered.
The article said to book domestic 1-3 months out and international 2-8 months out.
We are traveling from the US to Europe for the Christmas markets and booked our flight as soon as it was available to book(11 months out which is the furthest out we have booked). The next day we looked at flights again just for the heck of it( and our flight was up $550/person. There was nothing when we booked about getting the last 2 at that price or anything like that, so we were surprised to see that high of an increase over a single night.
The hotels are where it gets interesting. The original hotel we wanted to stay at was north of $550/night. The last two years we had stayed there in the summer, it was around $200/night. The price increase seemed high but the justification I’m sure would have been due to the season. Within 10 days, it dropped from over $550/night, to $177/night. The hotel for the other leg of the trip went from $170/night to over $300/night. For the best time to book purpose, nothing is making sense.
The hotels are a great price for staying in a big city, both Marriott 4 star properties. As far as the flights, would be nice to see them drop, but highly unlikely as we have very rarely seen prices drop over the last 10 years or so of traveling.

I seem to have hit a wall in the check process where it tells me I can check out as a guest but I do not see where the option is do to that, it just forced a login in or creating an account only. Am I missing something??? Hello everyone. Like you, I am a BIG long time Paramore fan and recently connected with the photographer, Josh Victor Rothstein, who shot all the album art and publicity photos for Riot. In addition to being a photographer and filmmaker, Josh is also an educator so he’s looking forward to sharing some of his work with fans these days. Assuming we can get enough people interested, Josh said he would be interested in sharing (in an online meet n greet forum) some of the outtakes from that shoot - plus some behind the scenes stories from the process itself. Please let me know if you have any interest joining? Josh also said that, if enough people join, he may be able to also pull in the designer of that album to join the conversation too. This could be a super fun chance and unique opportunity to see some exclusive / never before seen photos from the band, and hear the story of how that iconic album was captured and created. Please let me know who might be interested. If there is enough interest, we are looking to do this on line gathering at some point in early / mid February.

Currently pursuing a masters degree. I have a degree in Aviation Management and have worked for an airline as a ramp agent. Also have worked at a smaller airport doing line service.
What sort of pathways/routes exist for someone who wants to work in a logistical role in the aviation industry? I work at a small airport right now and there isn’t much upward mobility where I am so relocating is in the cards.
I have no issue working lower level positions since I understand you have to start somewhere. Just trying to get ideas on where to start.
