Me(22f) and my friends took a room around 4pm for attending a concert where we left some hemp seeds on bed sheets without noticing and we left around 10pm. We got a call next morning from some person saying that they are the manager and saying that we broke the tv and they are gonna raise a complaint to the nearby police station. We were clueless saying that we didn’t and he slightly threatened us with that seeds saying that we know what you did and asking for money. Is this some kind of trap? He ended up sending me a bunch of photos of some broken tv and the bed with left seeds saying that I have this and your id proof asking for money knowing that 3 of us are girls and can’t do anything. He kept on spamming us with calls and texts the whole day, Is he trying to scam us?

My bf claims to really like me, but his actions show nothing like that. I told him about the plots of my favourite books like 5 times and today when I mentioned I'm going to read something he's like oh you're into books? I didn't know that's nice.
Again this one time I asked him to like my story cause like idc if anyone else does or not but it just makes me feel happy and appreciated if he does. He didn't. I directly or indirectly told him to do so, so many times, thinking he would've missed it the first time but he still didn't. He did only after I said I was disappointed in him not because he didn't like my story but because he couldn't even to that little of a thing
Again I've told him so many times to not leave me on seen, he still does it. I told him I overthink when that happens but he still doesn't listen. Not like it'll take him an eternity to type a small oh, yeah ok is that so or anythinggggg like that.
So
Am I over reacting, over expecting....?

Hey all,
Getting close to the big 3-0, and have never stepped foot in a gym. Metabolism has treated me pretty well until now so thankfully my weight is probably pretty average for my height but my fitness level is definitely at a 0 and weight is starting to increase a bit now that metabolism is slowing down.
I think it's time that I start going to the gym - but as someone with a pretty low fitness level and no experience it's definitely a bit intimidating and I'm not sure where to start.
Not looking to get absolutely ripped or anything - just boost my overall strength and fitness. Ideally would love to be able to comfortably run 5K (right now I'd run out of gas pretty soon after starting).
Any tips on getting started? and gym recommendations close to the Castletroy area?

2025.01.19 18:52 Asaltyhabsfan I went to college because I felt like I had to, and I regret it and hate myself for it
I’m 24 years old, I work a decent call in job but I also feel behind in my life, it’s always been a dream of mine to get a post secondary (Canadian for after high school) education and have a career. I tried the trades and while it’s good to learn hands on stuff, I feel like I’m built for teaching and the education sector, since I work at a school as a part time unqualified teacheea.
A little bit of context: I went right to college out of high school. I took programming even though I wasn’t sure I was built for it. It was just ‘the next big thing’ so I went into it blind and forced myself to like it. Despite already failing, my idiot brain decided to keep going and plunged myself into debt and wasted so much savings on something I gained nothing out of, I dropped out miserable.
After that ordeal, I got an ADHD diagnosis and learning disability which I’ve been medicated on, it helps but it’s no cure. I finally have the confidence to back to school but I already wrecked my financial reputation on a stupid mistake I just can’t justify.
I’m saving money but I feel like the cost of university is too much for what I’m making and this could’ve all been avoided if I wasn’t such an idiot going into software development. I’m the only person I know who has zero qualifications in anything besides a high school diploma. I know very well I won’t be debt forgiven or approved for aid despite small disability grants and bursaries.
My girlfriend is going to university and I wish her all the best, she’s brilliant and she knows what she’s doing. She’s younger than me and is also neurodivergent but I know she will succeed. I feel rather inferior as of now and I’m afraid she will be too good for me
Apologies for the tangent but I messed up in college, currently working and saving, want yo go back but too many financial barriers and I got some debt to tackle. Major, and I mean MAJOR, regrets. Feeling behind, is there any way I can pull out of this? Is patience the answer? I feel like I’m wasting my early adulthood recovering my financial and mental state

2025.01.19 18:52 maddmaddmaddss get a new pump or not
I keep reading about different pumps and what they do. Keep seeing to get a spectra then a baby Buddha then a wall plug pump then it's just another pump and it keeps going in circles. I don't know what to choose anymore. Currently have a Medela freestyle pump and the Medela swing max. I have also rented the Medela symphony plus pump since it's hospital grade but have to return back soon. I just feel I'm choosing all wrong when it comes to pumps. What has anyone done to feel better about their choices?? What has worked for them?
