Hi everyone,
I wanted to share something I realised today and seek some advice. For the past 2+ years, I’ve been using my Belkin E-Series 6 Plug SurgeStrip Extension Lead, which I mistakenly plugged my clothing iron into, not knowing the potential risks. The iron operates at 220-240V and 2000-2400W, which is quite high compared to the other devices I have connected:
• ACER G277HU 27” LCD 1440p 60Hz Monitor • iPhone 20W Charger • TP-Link Deco M5 Unit • Moonside Neon Lighthouse Lamp Do you think I can safely continue to use this extension lead and the mains wall socket it’s connected to? Any advice or reassurance would be much appreciated. The extension lead and all the devices work as normal by the way and I’ve not noticed any issues. Thanks in advance!

Recently reinstalled RoN on a new PC and working my through commander mode for the first time, game has come a long way! I have been having this weird issue 1-2 times a mission where my game will freeze for one second and come back with the in-game cursor on the screen, then when I click it freezes again and goes back to normal. Its like when you click in and out of a fullscreen game but I am not.

I just got some 8053 platforms for Christmas and I’m struggling to find socks that would look nice with them while also being super durable. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the double doc socks but I have tried Darn Tough hiking socks. I love how light weight some of the Darn Tough socks are and they work well but they only really have black and grey as their solid colors. I’d prefer to get some nice white socks as well that I can wear to the office. Any suggestions?

2025.01.19 19:32 NaturalStriking5957 Custom bathroom shelf cabinet extends across access to tub plumbing
I had the shelf cabinet built while the new bathroom was still in the framing phase and didn't see the potential problem until AFTER the tub faucet wall was constructed and the plumbing and the wall tile was installed. There is a large stand up height access area through the bedroom wall to the back side of the tub's plumbing for the purpose of addressing potential issues, but then I realized the depth of the wall cabinet will obstruct access to half the waterworks! I spent a lot on the cabinet which is 5ft tall by 15"deep by 30" wide. To fit the curved contour of the framing, the top of the upper shelf curves downward toward the back of the cabinet. Is it feasible to reduce the depth about 4" or 5" while keeping the cabinet intact? I can't add images due to " denied permissions" which I can't seem to change. In effect I'm asking if 4 or 5" of the cabinet can be sawed off from the backside.

Recently I've been looking to buy a packer that is more so for play than anything. I want it to be realistic in appearance and sensation to help alleviate my dysphoria, but also to really help me feel confident when being intimate with my girlfriend. My main focus is that I want it to be durable and to be able to handle rough play.
Features I'm looking for most: -Ejaculation resivior -Realistic in look and feel -Pleasure for wearer and partner -Strong and Durable for rough play
It's been hard for me to find a packer that also stimulates me during intimacy, so I'm curious how they have worked out for other trans men.
That being said, I came across 5 options that I think could be good for me, but Ive seen some mixed reviews on them. I wanted to ask what your experiences were with these prosthetics rather than basing it off of sponsored videos. So, I'll add some questions that I've been wondering. I need help and advice please 😭!
-Were they good quality that held up? -Did the paint last or fade quickly? -Did you feel pleasure with these prosthetics or was it lacking?
-Are they easy to have sex with in terms of it staying in place? (I don't want it flopping around - kinda kills the mood and gets frustrating to try and manage 😅) All of the products I'm listing don't have every one of the features I'm interested in (such and the ejaculation resivoir), but that's not too big of an issure so long as its worth the money, holds up to wear and tear, and brings pleasure to the wearer and receiver.

It's freaking devastating that I don't have bottom surgery, so I really need something to help alleviate the dysphoria and help me feel more myself and happy. Working as a Senior Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer, I have become increasingly interested in Knowledge Management. I also do Technical Writing tasks, so I thought it relevant to post here. I would add that the Technical Editor position is closer to my interests. Anyway, I looked up in previous posts how KM was discussed in this sub-reddit, and then I saw that several users have worked/are working in this area.
Over the years I have done KM tasks as part of my responsibilities, but it has not been my focus, nor have there been any conscious KM efforts in the company where I work. However, I find KM very exciting and would be happy to switch in this direction. But there is no openness to KM at my workplace, so I would definitely like to change in time. I think the experience I have gained as an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer would be very useful, and I could also do content production if needed, in addition to knowing the methodologies.
In parallel, I see it as important to be able to put my overlapping experience with KM into the right framework of KM, gain specific knowledge and fill gaps.
Is there anyone here who has made a similar transition, or perhaps is working on KM in the first place? I would welcome your advice on what sources of specific knowledge would be useful, or whether there are actually any worthwhile courses you would recommend taking. I have of course done a lot of research on my own, trying to learn the theory, and also plan to prepare a relevant portfolio.
I really appreciate it if anyone can help.
