They said I had to pay a "first time transaction fee" of 50$, which will then be given back to me when the transaction is complete. Is this fee real? As noted, looking for a small tabletop style pneumatic screen printing machine to apply a logo.
Currently using a heat pres process and thinking it would work better if is was pad printed or screen printed instead. The logo is done only with bright white onto a slew of light & dark colors and patterns that are on a ~spandexish type material. The logo is also small ( <3" - think half dollar size ) so it doesn't need to be anything large scale. Can see product runs in the 5-10K units range for now. Really don't see myself screen printing thousands of units manually.
Any ideas jump to mind?

2025.01.19 18:52 boxfullofpasta Velocity One system vs good deal on a Thrustmaster pack
Just started studying to get my PPL and wanted to get in on sims. My plan was to use an Xbox controller until I upgraded to something like a Velocity One (refurbished for $300 USD), BUT I found the Thrustmaster T16000M pack for $125 on FB marketplace (stick, throttle, and rudder pedals). Advertised as used only twice for a total of 5 hours maybe and I'm near new condition, or so they say.
So I guess my question is, I know the Thrustmaster pack is a good deal, but will it mess me up or is it even worth it if I'm specifically going to be learning on a Cessna 172 that of course uses a yoke. Do I go with the cheaper system because it's a good deal or is it not worth because it wouldn't help me in any significant way?

Hi everyone! I am one of the members of the acting group at MISA = Munich International School of Arts. We have an experienced teacher who teaches us acting on a weekly basis (Saturdays 11-13h) focusing on techniques like Meisner, Chechov, Chubbuck, Physical and Vocal exercises. We managed to perform multiple times in front of the audience and plan to continue performing on stage (it is of course optional).
Right now the class is creating a new group to work on so called "showings" which are shows consisting of a collection of different scenes and monologues.
Your age, experience is irrelevant. You can be a total beginner. The important thing is the will to get close to your own truth actingwise. We start the next try out classes in February.
To take part in the try out class costs 15€ and afterwards you can decide wether you are interested in continuing the acting journey or not.
To join, please find us on the meetup website and join the event there (If you have problems finding us please feel free to contact me directly). Unfortunately, modders do not allow us to post a link.
To take part in the first try out class, just enter the event. In case of any questions, feel free to contact our teacher - the co-organizer of the event - Kevin Knobloch on meetup website.
Consider coming at least once to try it out. Who knows, maybe it will become your new hobby :)

Hi,
I'm a 37 year-old- female with no history of serious disease, have had issues with palpitations or feeling faint in the past but a 24h ECG showed nothing of importance.
I went to A&E last month for palpitations and a heart rate reaching 145 bpm just when standing. I had an ECG and blood test done, I didn't really get any conclusion re the ECG, they appeared to have lost the first ECG's report and did another one. Blood test wise my troponin was fine, I did have elevated D Dimer and CRP so they took me for an angiogram which luckily ruled out PE.
The angio report only just appeared on my patient portal so I had a look and was surprised to read in the clinic info/background section that "right heart strain" had been detected during at least one of the ECG which no one had told me about. The report did go on to say there was no strain detected during the angio, whatever that means.
Is this something I need to worry about/monitor going forward? I wasn't told I needed a follow up, neither for the heart or the elevated D dimer. I was discharged with the conclusion that the tachy was likely due to covid I had had 2 weeks prior.
