I (16m) am trans and have a lot of health issues. My parents are... trying. There's not much else to say. They're trying, they're trying to be supportive, they're trying to support my celiacs, and they're trying to help. I'm already dealing with so much stress and just want to not think about it.
They're trying, and all it's doing is showing me how little they care. It's so obvious that they don't actually think of me as a guy, they constantly "slip up" and apologize and say they're trying. It hurts hearing my mom refer to me as her daughter when she thinks I can't hear her.
With my celiacs disease, I've just been recently diagnosed. It's been hard, I've been getting sick a lot from seemingly innocent things (like chapstick). I sort of just stopped caring about food, it's necessary but like I don't want to talk about it at all. My parents always want o talk about food it seems, I'm told that they're just trying to be supportive, but I just don't want every conversation to be another reminder of how little control I have.
It's safe to say that I've been snappy recently, this weekend is just before midterm exams, and all I want is to rest. But all my parents want is to clean, when I asked them to be quiet so I could be able to focus. They also invited my grandparents over on Saturday and Sunday to see the new couch.
I'm expected to at least look presentable and talk to my grand parents and ita just adding more stress to the pile.
I've been snappy and angry and rude, I'm honestly fantasizing about hitting 18 and running off to college and never seeing them again. But also that's mean and they're my parents.
There's other examples of things but this is how I'm feeling.
TLDR: AITA for not liking my parents despite them trying to support me?

Just recently bought an AT 41 black lacquered dial and absolutely love it. I’ve had it for 9 days and with just normal use, realize it’s a scratch magnet. I plan on using it as my daily, but just got bummed because I already scratched it a lot. I’ve gotten over scratches quickly with my Rolex, but just felt like this was my baby and my first Omega.
