I’m on day 7 of liver shrinking. Have been dealing with gallbladder pain all week because I’m not eating. Was diagnosed with shingles this morning and now I’m looking at March 4th instead of Tuesday. I just cleaned out the entire kitchen, pantry, freezers, everything. My family eats meat and potatoes, so I’m going to have to get really creative so I don’t undo this whole week. Gaaaaaaahhhhh 💔

Working as a Senior Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer, I have become increasingly interested in Knowledge Management. In fact, over the years I have done KM tasks as part of my responsibilities, but it has not been my focus, nor have there been any conscious KM efforts in the company where I work.
However, I find KM very exciting and would be happy to switch in this direction. But there is no openness to KM at my workplace, so I would definitely like to change in time. I think the experience I have gained as an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer would be very useful, and I could also do content production if needed, in addition to knowing the methodologies.
In parallel, I see it as important to be able to put my overlapping experience with KM into the right framework of KM, gain specific knowledge and fill gaps.
Is there anyone here who has made a similar transition, or perhaps is working on KM in the first place? I would welcome your advice on what sources of specific knowledge would be useful, or whether there are actually any worthwhile courses you would recommend taking. I have of course done a lot of research on my own, trying to learn the theory, and also plan to prepare a relevant portfolio.
I really appreciate it if anyone can help.

Hi, myself and friend have both posted about coolant issues and head gasket
I ran some seal steel as an attempt to keep her going a bit longer, car overheated within 5m of using, i didn’t burp system or top up coolant after, haven’t had a look yet but didn’t notice the copious amount of white smoke as before. Still low idle (750)
Ran the obd and got the fault code P0115 (coolant temp sensor )
Could it just be need tk sort coolant out or is the head gasket still f*cked?

2025.01.19 19:33 CobblerEquivalent539 After 5 months dry, I do still cook with alcohol.
I hope that does not violate all the rules of sobriety. I have read on the wiki that not all the alcohol gets cooked off. I get that. And I'm not chugging a gallon of burre blanc sauce to get off. Ha!
But what has changed for me is the process of cooking. 5 months ago making a white wine sauce mean't cracking a bottle of white to drink a glass or two while I prepped all the ingredients. Then adding what I need for the recipe. Then having another glass or two with dinner. Same thing with red wine and pasta sauce. Same thing with marinades, using some so I could drink some of the "extra" by the grill.
Now I do still cook with it, but I've been super disciplined about using only what I need for the recipe, and not so much as taking a sip while prepping or cooking. Also, I don't buy a whole bottle of red or white. I buy small cans or mini bottles of wine. Just enough to cook with. And if there's extra, I pour it out.
It's working for me. Just not drinking the ingredients. At all.

 | Since starting my true smash journey on New years last year (2024) to today, this the progress I’ve made so far. Wolf is my #1, Roy/Chrom as my 2nd/3rd. Started on Marcina last month in December recently as my 4th/5th and I’m this close with Marth who’s in the 12.9M range. After I include Marth in, that will consist of my personal roster of all 5 characters in Elite. I highly doubt I’ll ever be that good by including the entire cast in Elite if I’m being honest because I’m more of a fundies/combo oriented type of player.
