Lifting off bed I have had many many successful prints without this happening and now all of a sudden this has happened twice in the last few days where it starts lifting off of the plate way before the print is done. I have cleaned the plate with dawn, dish soap, and water. One time I even used a glue stick and it still seems to be happening. Any suggestions?

2025.01.19 20:37 mcsquirgle Decisions decisions

These two are my favorite Golden Colorado Spyderco models.
The pm2 was one of the first knives I purchased when I got into knives back in 2019. For some reason it has outlasted so many others and so many collecting phases. To me, the pm2 is still the knife that comes to mind when friends ask about Spyderco and what knife to consider as their first. As metal complex will say " welcome to the knife community! Here is a PM2".
The Native 5 was a knife that I didn't have a whole lot of love for at first, but has grown on me exponentially. My first native five was a lightweight, and it just didn't do it for me. I think I wanted something flashier at the time. This is my newest Native 5. It's the knife center exclusive with CPM CruWear and smooth black G10. I have upgraded it with some titanium rgt featherweight scales. This particular version of the Native 5 really changed my mind about the model. With its smooth PB washer action and locked in ergonomics, it might just be my favorite Spyderco knife of all time.
Which would you pick today?

2025.01.19 20:37 TheHolyRollerz I have 8 pictures that I need to restore for EU80.

I am NOT looking for cheap AI bullcrap and edits that are done in 1 minute, but actually good work. So if you can restore this picture the best you can, you can do the other 7 I'll send to you. All photos contain scratches or stains because they are digitalized from reversal film. If you could remove noise that would be great too. Some photos need to be sharpened, and sometimes faces are a bit spotty. Keep it natural! I want them in jpeg format

C. Versicolor rehouse thoughts Good afternoon, I have my almost 2 year old C. Versi that made its home in this 4x4x4 food storage container I made. After its most recent molt I made the next home, but it felt like it was too small still. Now that it’s been a few months I feel like it looks a bit cramped in the 4” cube. I don’t want to rehome it too close to molting, but it did just eat for me yesterday. Opinions on rehousing into the 4x6x8” cereal box? Thanks!

2025.01.19 20:37 NO_N3CK Disassembly

Disassembling long standing structures should demote the individual. Add in a time buffer so people can move compositions that get placed badly without losing rank
The goal of the game is to extend radio reach and supply a front line. An army can diligently build everything to this goal, just to have a two man team of saboteurs go four bases back from their radio reach and disassemble everything, forcing the army to double back and fix the issue
If they want to play cruise the world and drive 15 minutes to disassemble a coastal base they’ll never be able to attack, let them do it and let them be able to disassemble it, but make it so when they go back to their line they are a renegade and can’t spawn anything
This neutrality of this would also help with friendly disassembly griefers and the guys who tear down the arsenal as a cop out instead of just running supplies

2025.01.19 20:37 screwyouguys4351 Tips on preventing loose skin

I read on here that someone was having loose skin issues when they dropped weight too quickly, and I want to know your tips on combating this.
Currently, I lose about 3 pounds per week and have lost about 13 pounds in the last 30 days. I take 20 units of 2.5mg weekly. Is this okay?
I have about 70 pounds left to lose and while I am happy to see that I’m making progress, I want to prevent as much loose skin as I can. I’m 5’9” and hopeful that since I am taller and my weight is more evenly distributed that it won’t be as bad.

2025.01.19 20:37 Sartheking [OC] Every Rookie QB that made it to the Conference Championship

In the Super Bowl era, there have been 7, now 8 rookies that have made it to the conference championship round of the Playoffs. Let's look at how all of them fared.
Pat Haden (1976)
Pat Haden was drafted 176th overall in the 7th round by the LA Rams in the 1975 NFL Draft. He went to Oxford for a year, so his rookie season was in 1976, where he started as the 3rd string QB. Haden went 5-1-1 in his 7 starts, finished second in OROY, and won an ugly 14-12 Divisional Round game against the Cowboys, in which he threw 3 interceptions. In the NFC Championship against the Purple People Eaters, Haden went 9/22, 161 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 43.9 passer rating. The Rams lost 24-13.
Dieter Brock (1985)
This is a weird one. Dieter Brock was 34 years old in his "rookie" season. This is because he had an extensive career in the CFL that lasted almost a decade, so his first NFL season with (you guessed it) the Los Angeles Rams was at a much older age than most rookies. Brock went 11-4 with 2658 yards, 16 TD, 13 INT, 82.0 passer rating. History repeated itself and the Rams won a 20-0 shutout against the Cowboys, but then had to go up against arguably the greatest team in NFL history in the NFC Championship, and were then shutout themselves 24-0. Brock went 16/53, 116 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT, 24.0 passer rating in those two games.
Shaun King (1999)
Shaun King was drafted 50th overall in the second round of the 1999 draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is probably the closest any rookie has been to playing in the Super Bowl. As most probably know, this Tampa Bay defense was one of the best units of all time, and would go on to win the Super Bowl in 2002. In 1999 however, Trent Dilfer got injured after ten games, leaving Shaun King to start the rest of the season. He went 4-1 with 875 yards, 7 TD, 4 INT, 82.4 passer rating. After a come from behind win against Washington, the Buccaneers would face off against the Greatest Show on Turf in the NFC Championship. What resulted was one of the single greatest defensive performances in NFL history, with an infamous officiating blunder on the Bucs final drive. Trailing 11-6 on 2nd and 23 with 51 seconds left, a critical catch to Bert Emmanuel was incorrectly ruled incomplete even after replay assist. King went 28/61, 320 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT, 47.2 passer rating in the two Playoff games. Sorry about this one, Bucs fans.
Ben Roethlisberger (2004)
Doesn't need any introduction. Big Ben is the only Hall of Fame caliber player on this list, and his rookie campaign is pretty well known. The Steelers had the top ranked scoring defense in the NFL. Big Ben went 13-0 with 2621 yards, 17 TD, 11 INT, 98.1 passer rating, won OROY, and ended the Patriots NFL record 21 game win streak. This Steelers team however, had a bit of an inflated record and it showed in the Playoffs. In the Divisional Round, the Jets missed a 47 yard go ahead field goal with two minutes left, Big Ben immediately threw an interception, after which the Jets ran out the clock to kick a game winning 43 yard field goal with no time remaining, which was also missed. The Jets then got the ball in OT and did Jets things, resulting in a punt, and then the Steelers kicked a field goal to end it. Unfortunately for the Steelers, their opponent in the AFC Championship was not the Jets, instead it was the best team of the Brady/Belicheck era, so they naturally got blown out 41-27. Big Ben went 31/54, 407 yards, 3 TD, 5 INT, 61.3 passer rating in his two Playoff games.
Joe Flacco (2008)
Flacco was drafted #18 overall in the first round by the Ravens. Pretty common theme of these QBs is that they had a great defense that everyone remembers, and that follows here. Flacco went 11-5 with 2971 yards, 14 TD, 12 INT, 80.3 passer rating. Unlike his predecessors, Flacco's entire Playoff run was on the road, because the Ravens were a Wild Card team. The Ravens defense dismantled the Dolphins wildcat offense, and then edged out Jeff Fisher's Titans 13-10. They then played the Steelers in the AFC Championship, which ended with a Troy Polamalu pick 6 from Flacco to ice the game. In three Playoff games, Flacco went 33/75, 437 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT, 50.8 passer rating.
Mark Sanchez (2009)
Not only did this happen in back to back seasons, but Rex Ryan was in large part responsible for both QBs early success. Rex was the DC for the 2008 Ravens and the head coach for the 2009 Jets. Sanchez (yes that one) was drafted by the Jets 5th overall in 2009. Mark Sanchez went 8-7 with 2444 yards, 12 TD, 20 INT, 63.0 passer rating. Continuing the trend, the Jets had the #1 defense in the NFL giving up 14.8 points/game. This was the Revis Island season, considered by most to be the best season any CB has ever had. Despite his rough regular season, Sanchez stepped it up in the Playoffs beating the Bengals in the Wild Card, and then led a 4th quarter comeback win against the Phillip Rivers led Chargers. Unfortunately for the Jets, in the AFC Championship, they ran into a Peyton Manning led Colts team that could've gone undefeated after starting 14-0, but elected to rest their starters. The Jets had a 17-6 lead with 2 minutes left in the half but then remembered they were the Jets and were outscored 24-0 the rest of the way. Sanchez in his three Playoff games went 41/68, 539 yards, 4 TD, 2 INT, 95.7 passer rating.
Brock Purdy (2022)
Everyone already knows the story, but it's still pretty crazy to think about. The 49ers started 3 QBs in 2022, and each one was better than the last. Brock Purdy was selected with the very last pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, and made the roster as the 3rd string QB. Trey Lance got injured in the second game of the season, Jimmy G got the team to 8-4 before getting injured against the Dolphins, leaving the 49ers season in the hands of Mr. Irrelevant. Purdy went 5-0 with 1098 yards, 11 TD, 2 INT, 119.0 passer rating in his 5 starts, finishing 3rd for OROY. Much like his predecessors, the Niners also had a great defense. Unlike the previous rookies however, they also had a great offense, averaging 33.6 points/game once Purdy took over. The Niners blew out Seattle in the Wild Card, and edged out the Cowboys in the Divisional Round. Unfortunately, in the NFC Championship, Purdy suffered a season ending injury on the first offensive series. The backup, Josh Johnson, then fumbled a perfect snap before the half, which pretty much ended the Niners hopes of winning. Johnson then had to be evaluated for a concussion in the second half, meaning they literally ran out of QBs, which meant Purdy had to come back into the game in order to have someone under center. But since he physically couldn't throw the ball, they couldn't do much except have Christian McCaffrey attempt a pass, and got blown out 31-7. Purdy in the two games he was healthy in went 37/59, 570 total yards, 4 total TD, 0 total turnovers, 109.9 passer rating.
Jayden Daniels (2024)
The reason for making this post, at last. Daniels was drafted 2nd overall by the 4-13 Washington Commanders. His situation is completely different from any of the aforementioned QBs. The Commanders ranked 18th in scoring defense, a far cry from the defenses any of the previous teams had. In terms of weapons, they're probably about league average. None of the other QBs were the driving force of their team's success. Daniels went 12-5, with 4459 total yards, 31 total TD, 9 total turnovers, 100.1 passer rating and won OROY. He was even better than those numbers suggest, in my opinion. He did this in essentially 15.5 games, because he got knocked out of one at the start, and got taken out in the second half of Week 18. He also had a stretch in the middle of the year where he was clearly playing through a rib injury. Daniels out dueled Baker on the road in the Wild Card round, and then upset the 15-2 #1 seeded Lions. In these two games, Daniels has gone 46/66, 654 total yards, 4 total TD, 0 total turnovers, 116.2 passer rating. No other rookie has been able to break through and reach the Super Bowl. Can Daniels be the first one to do so?
