2025.01.19 20:40 jollyjunior89 Air frying steak strips
I like having quick snacks and breakfast. Been thinking about air frying steak strips so I can take a couple and have them with breakfast with eggs. This keeps my kitchen clean and time to cook way down. I'm not worried about it being rubbery from reheating in the microwave. Anyone have an idea of time and temp in an air fryer?

2025.01.19 20:40 The_Irack Outside
I'm seeing mostly in-door Mals on this sub and I'm wondering if I should feel bad for making mine be an outside pupper. Right now he's 6 months old and doesn't have any health problems. I don't live in a especially cold area (Coldest we've gotten this year was -6ºC) and he can handle the heat in summer. Will he be okay?

2025.01.19 20:40 katiesezhey Good price for Apoquel?
My 25 pound pug needs a daily 5.4 mg dose of Apoquel to relieve her environmental allergies. At my vet and online, these pills cost about $100 US a month. Before I give in and keep paying that amount, I thought I’d reach out to Reddit to see if anyone knows of a less expensive source or a good alternative. 2025.01.19 20:40 DaSpiritualAnarchist That time I thought I would be introduced into the nature of reality, but got a busload of vomit instead
Towards the end of my stay in India I felt deeply thankful. I had travelled there with little planning and even less money, but everything had turned out better than I could have ever dreamed of. In the Tibetan tradition the mind is called the wish-fulfilling jewel, and I now made a final wish: To meet a Dzogchen master in order to receive a pointing out instruction.
The spiritual teaching that helped me the most as a seeker was the Tibetan school of thought called Dzogchen, which literally translates to The Great Perfection. Dzogchen operates with a set of pointing out instructions where the seeker is introduced to the nature of reality.
As my departure date was swiftly approaching, I accepted that my wish wouldn’t be granted by the powers that be. On my last day before leaving India, I got on a bus heading for the capital New Delhi, where I would catch my flight out. On the first bus stop after my own, a spiritual entourage boarded the bus: A Dzogchen master followed by two monks! I was sitting in a window seat, and one of the monks asked me if it was possible for his master to sit in my seat by the window, and for me to sit next to the master, by the aisle. I had, of course, no objections. Surely, this was my chance to have my wish granted after all and receive an introduction into the nature of reality! However, as soon as the master sat down in his seat, he immediately rolled down the window, and as the old school vehicle accelerated into motion, he stuck his head out the open window.
My thoughts immediately took off on a flight of self-recriminating fancy: Oh, look at him! I thought to myself. He is so enlightened! Taking it all in. Why didn’t I do that when I sat in his seat? In my mind I went on and on, weaving and spinning stories on how this was a manifestation of how awakening is like shattering the glass cage around oneself. It was just like the master sitting next to me. He had opened the window while I had remained within the glass confinement. After a good fifteen minutes of similar schizophrenic accusations of myself by myself, the bus made another stop. The master was in a hurry to get off. I reckoned he was eager to escape the confines of his bus seat to bask in that perfect illusion called nature.
It was only after I had myself exited the bus that I realized why the monks had asked for my seat, why the master had put his head out the window, and why he had been in such a hurry to get off. Along the side of the vehicle, starting from the master’s window and all the way to the rear, ran a trail of fresh vomit. The monks explained to me that their master was a chronic sufferer of terrible carsickness.
We continued talking. They were incredibly interesting, humble and intelligent, and they also became very interested in me when they learned of my interest in Dzogchen. They even wanted me to join them to their monastery in New Delhi to receive an introduction into the nature of reality! However, I declined their offer. I had a flight to catch, and besides, their master had already unwittingly taught me the lesson I needed to learn at the time – a teaching on not to project ideas of enlightenment onto individuals.

2025.01.19 20:40 No_Ninja1353 Anticipating on finding new friends, as if i was a child about to open new presents
Good Evening, One and All,
I hope you're having a lovely (Insert Time of Day). I'm finding myself somewhat sociable as of late and decided to see if there was anyone here either in the same shoes as I or someone just ready to embark on a new friendship. A connection that could range from a brief introduction to a long-lasting camaraderie. You’ll forgive me if this is not how I would normally type, so please don’t expect it when we do actually chat. I’m as casual as they come, but I believe that to attract the best, effort is sometimes required. This situation, I find, is one of those times.
A brief excerpt about myself: I have aged, some would say, like fine wine; others, perhaps, like bread left out too long. That would be your prerogative to decide as we embark on the journey to discover which is true—or perhaps a little of both. Much of my time in this existence has been similar to the majority of yours, I’m sure. If not, I hope you’re all the better for it. I live on an island, far too crowded yet still home. Some may call it Great, but for better or worse, it’s where I am, and that’s all that matters to me now.
Like a few of you, I also enjoy spending time indoors—mostly playing games, reading, or fully embracing a quarter-life crisis.
Delving deeper into my hobbies, for those who prefer familiarity rather than the unknown (though both are welcome): I’m mostly into ARPGs and Simulation/Management games like Path of Exile, Factorio, Minecraft, and Heroes of Hammerwatch. However, like everyone these days, I enjoy branching out with games like Phasmo, League (but only if we really bond), VR Chat, and others that I can’t think of at the moment. I believe sometimes the company can transcend what one enjoys—through the simple joy of sharing the experience.
As for reading, I mainly immerse myself in Fantasy and Sci-Fi, with favorites like Brandon Sanderson, Mark Lawrence, Robin Hobb, and Michael Crichton. That said, if you have any recommendations, I wholeheartedly encourage you to share them. Finding new books is always a pleasure for me, and being engrossed in another world is incredibly relaxing.
I’ll end this pompous post shortly, as I’m sure you’re as tired of reading it as I am of trying to sound like something I’m not. If you decide to message me, I’d appreciate it if you put in some effort toward genuine connection—seeking actual friendship rather than something fleeting and inconsequential. Please be in your 20s. Your hobbies and interests don’t have to align with mine; it’s often those different from us who help us grow and evolve the most.
If you’re shy and can only offer a brief introduction, please include your age, where you’re from, your hobbies or interests, and maybe what you hope to gain from us chatting.
With that, I’ll bid you farewell. It’s been a pleasure, and I hope this entrapts entices someone to reach out—whether to start a friendship or rekindle something new. To those who read this and think, “Sounds like a smug asshole,” I encourage you to message me anyway and find out. While not entirely opposite to this, I’m much more than what’s written here.
Forever or Not, Yours Truly, Me.

2025.01.19 20:40 Mediocre_Sweet_7081 Clone Agent Idea (send feedback if you want)
Imagine if a new agent is like a clone thing, it would be cool to be able to change between two bodys across the map or a certain ratio, and control them one at a time, but if they find your other half and kill it, you die (that as an ultimate that lasts a minute of a whole round)
oh!
c) something like a goop that you can lay on the floor, and when someone step on it, they glow like a firefly (something of small ratio, a circle of the size of... the doors in ascent)
q) a smoke comes out of you, and remains as long as you come back to it like viper´s ult, but it runs out faster, and with a timer.
e) you create a wall coming out of your body like eren yaeger cristal titan.
x) the clone thin I said... and if you live one of them inside of your smoke they can´t kill it and the smokes is capable to act as a normal smoke

2025.01.19 20:40 undisclosedobserver OrcaSlicer is Bambu Studio plus G-code
Most of you have probably known this but I just found out 10 minutes ago. Following the latest news on Bambu Lab locking down their printers through firmware updates, I checked for open alternatives and was pleasantly surprised that OrcaSlicer has essentially the same look and feel as Bambu Studio (it’s a fork).
It took 5 minutes to 1. Download OrcaSlicer (and enable stealth mode for not sending data to Bambu’s cloud) 2. Enable LAN-only mode on my printer 3. Block the printer’s internet access in my router’s settings
Looks like Bambu’s changes have actually achieved to make printing more secure, at least for me.

2025.01.19 20:40 Some-Application-441 An underrated positive from last night's win...
The team is basically fully healthy. Cosmi aside (which is a big loss), we are deep into the postseason with the entire roster ready to play. I'm sure everyone is exhausted, but every other team is seeing key players on IR.
I think our biggest weapon going forward is keeping games close and then getting JD5 to turn on the jets against tired and depleted defensive lines.
