Hi,
I ordered Galaxy S23 from Amazon. When I tried to register the device on samsung website, it mentioned date of purchase to be 19th December 2024 whereas I bought the phone on 18th January 2025. Only 11 months of warranty is left now.
Amazon is not providing replacement citing the reason stock is not available but I can see the same model in stock on Amazon. Only return is possible now.
What should I do in this case?

2025.01.19 20:32 yalliveoil Backwards bus stops?
I've noticed several of the bus stop rest stations in/around Downtown and West Seattle face the sidewalk instead of the street. It genuinely feels like the station was installed backwards, but there's so many of them it can't be a mistake.
Does anyone know why some stations face backwards and others don't? One suggestion I've heard is to prevent backsplash from curb water, but I still get splashed regardless. Some general digging brought up sidewalk widths having something to do with it.

I will be taking my 4 hours of lessons for an A1 license pretty soon. But I’ve already started doing some research for my first bike.
I’ve got one in mind in particular and that’s a Honda CB125R. What are your experiences with this bike. Is this a good beginner bike or would you recommend something else?
I will not be doing any highway driving on this bike. It’s purely for short distances 10-15km. Let’s say back and forth to swimming pool or to my gym.

98% of my notifications are about successfully taken screenshots, most of the rest relate to some software being ready to launch, characters being successfully copied, technical stuff and failures. And when it comes to notifications from messaging apps (Telegram, Fractal, Mail) most of notifications relate to updates in groups and channels or spam/automatic mail/verification codes.
Because of that, I do not have a habit of regularly checking notifications. If someone messages me, their message may remain unread for days until I stumble to it by accident.
It would be cool to have a small mail icon in the topbar that would analyze incoming mail/instant messages (maybe with a small local LLM) and blink red if something important was received.
