2025.01.19 22:03 UnProbleMan Pasé de ser un miedoso total a un confiado absoluto
Eso, siento que me estoy confiando mucho. Al principio iba todo cagado, hasta al tener verde miraba que no se mande alguno. No podía pensar en mandarme en zonas transitadas. Hoy quemé goma porque casi me como un semáforo (por suerte venía solo en todo el trayecto y no había nadie en la calle) y estoy preocupado. Quiero equilibrar esto, obvio que lo voy a hacer a partir de ahora esto me re sirve para reflexionar. Hace dos semanas que agarré el volante solo (vengo practicando desde mitad del año pasado) y como me siento ágil, con control del vehículo y dejé el miedo atrás me empecé a creer Colapinto. Pero ya no más.
Soy prudente igual, sobretodo cuando viene una moto cerca y soy de espejear bastante, también siempre respeto el paso del peatón. No tengo problema en ir atrás de uno que viene despacio y eso. Pero siento que tengo que seguir mejorando la prudencia.
Han pasado por esta etapa?

2025.01.19 22:03 Compound_Hound Is there a way to automatically 'cartoonize' faces?
From my research, blurring faces can be done through a number of tools but I am wanting to cartoonize (with an avatar?) the faces instead. Reason is they're my kid's faces and would prefer they not be on the net (hello Facebook) but think having some kind of animation and expression through their faces would be cool.
Anyway, in a basic example, lets say we were doing a video of trick shots or some kind of obstacle course. Is there something that could track their faces and augment it? They would be both close up and in the distance, if that matters.

2025.01.19 22:03 EldritchElvis Won my first Ranked game !!! From despair to joy !
I started Ranked 1v1 recently since I started the game recently and started getting bored against AI. However I had terrible stress playing Ranked, and so prior to that I trained a lot against AI to get a simple Feudal rush build memorised as well as the other basics. But ofc playing against players is different and I got beaten by way better players due to their skill and my mistakes.
Prior to that winning match I played an English player that just built a few spearmen and almost killed my Knights because I was doing something else, and in the meantime he started raiding my unprotected gold with his King, thus tilting me and making me quit. I told myself "screw Feudal Rush I can't make it work, too much micro and I am defenseless in my base".
So ofc next game I still played a Feudal Rush since it's all I know and faced a OOTD player. I already sighed since I find them very hard to kill early with their MAA. I do my build, scout a Meinwerk and panic a bit since I'm anticipating a rush, like HRE would do. However my archer spam and few Knights managed to hit some of his villagers gathering deer, then a battle occured against his spearmen and few archers, but I won it and managed to build 2 rams and kill some villagers that were building a hasty tower. He then surrendered.
I'm literally shaking with excitement and proud of myself for pushing on, even though I basically ragequit the previous game. I'm looking forward for more games now that I've "unlocked" my confidence issue by winning at least once, fair and square. Gotta thank all the people here on Reddit and Discord for all their constructive feedback, that helped a ton 🙏

 | I do not understand bunnies. How is this possible that best friends are fine one minute and the next minute they’re fighting so bad. It breaks my heart that they’re left without a partner until we bond them again. The last time the bond broke was in August (Mr Bunny was sick so that time there was a reason) and the bonding took sooooooo long. Today they were having their little treat, a tiny amount of apple juice, and after that they full on started to fight. Some times Chainsaw initiated, other times Mr Bunny. It seemed to calm down for a bit if we put them in the other room, they even groomed each other on the window, but as soon as they went on the ground the chasing and fighting began. We are also moving at the end of next week so bonding will be the first thing that we can do in our new home, yay 🥲 We have separated them now, one is in the bedroom and one in the living room. Hi all,
I’m 26 and from the UK in my first pregnancy. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes a couple of days ago at 22 weeks.
I failed the OGTT based on the fasting result (5.6 mmol/L). I’m not even sure what my post drink result is as I got taken from the waiting room and given my diagnosis before I got the second set of bloods.
My main risk factors were PCOS/insulin resistance, my ethnicity, and previous issues with blood sugar which I was on metformin for (which was stopped when I got pregnant). I also have a family history of diabetes.
I see most people seem to get diagnosed a little later as they test further on, or even later if they suspect GD in those final few weeks.
In the 2.5 days I’ve been testing, I’ve had four results above my target. I was advised not to change my diet yet (they want to see what my pattern is) so I have been pretty much eating what I want since it’s the weekend.
My question is, the earlier you get diagnosed with GD, is it harder to control due to increased insulin resistance through the pregnancy?
Is it more likely you will require an induction etc?

When I was 11 years old I distinctly remember having a horrible bout of semi-diarrhea which consisted of terrible shits and white string-like worms wiggling quickly in the toilet. After this horrifying incident I never experienced anything like this again. I’m wondering if I certainly pooped them out due to the brute force of my shit (lol) or if they could be still inside hiding from my sight causing problems.
