Hi everyone, so I’ve had MEM since July 2023. They believe mine is caused by my TMJ and the muscle tightness it has caused in my jaw, neck, shoulders and back. I have an open bite and bilateral disc displacement, so they think the malocclusion of my bite is causing tension. I’ve worn a splint for almost 9 months and they want me to start Invisalign treatment tomorrow. I’m so anxious that the Invisalign is going to worsen my MEM and hissing tinnitus. Do any of you have experience with orthodontic treatment and MEM?

2025.01.19 21:49 Rare-Cauliflower-250 Trying to figure out teenage daughter’s acne cause(s)?
Daughter (18). When she visits family in Sacramento CA area her skin clears up beautifully within a week. Within a day back home in northern Midwest it’s breaking out again. She got oil reducing wipes and it didn’t help. We are assuming it’s the humidity maybe?? We are super high and the area in CA is low/moderate. This has happened 3x to her so it’s something man, lol She’s had a round of accutane but she had such bad side effects she had to stop after 3 months. It worked really well for her skin though but within 6 months of being off it the acne came back full swinging. She has sensitive skin and La Roche face wash is what she uses. Not sure what she can do but it’s driving her insane and she asked for my help and I told her I would look into more options and here we are. Any suggestions would be great.

Hi all
If you run a repair business do you charge anything if the customer rejects the cost of a repair?
Lets say something comes in with a fault. You diagnose the fault and find you need a part. However the customer does not want to carry out the repair due to the cost of the part.
For me I have still done work to find the fault, find the part and come back with options.
How would you feel if you put your laptop into a shop and they charged you a small amount to discover a motherboard needed replaced and they suggested that you do not go ahead as the cost of the motherboard and labour is the same as buying a new laptop.

For context I just staffed an encampment as a flight commander. I felt like the first sergeant was very demanding when asking me to do things. They would also constantly be giving me corrections in front of the flight. When I brought this up to the squad comm is was essentially told that my concerns weren’t valid and that the first sergeant was an extension of the squad comm so I had to listen to them. But I feel like the dynamic of 1st Sgt and flight commander is really weird. And as an officer I don’t want to be ordered around by an NCO. IMO flight commanders should only be communicating with squad comms.
I have been a first sergeant at encampments and at my squadron before and honestly didn’t really understand my purpose besides leading PT. I always felt like i was stepping on the toes of flight commanders.
Am I just misunderstanding the position or do others agree that it’s unnecessary??

The title says it all. I'm a 20 year old woman in college. I sometimes see people I find attractive while walking to class but I never find people in my classes or clubs attractive. I am honestly into skinny, nerdier guys/ladies and I'm a part of quite a few nerdy clubs. However, I just struggle with finding people who are interesting to me or aesthetically pleasing. I wouldn't say I have high standards, I just feel I'm not looking in the right place. I have people come up to me but most tend to not be my type. Any recommendations on where to look? 2025.01.19 21:49 Ok_Strategy8692 To improve as a jungler you need to gank as little as possible
This might sound counter-intuitive because everybody thinks that the jungler's job is to gank but it is absolutely not, the jungler's job is to get ahead in CS/Level and take objectives.
There is a big difference between low and high ELO, as well as SoloQ and flex/pro-play.
In Low ELO Soloq you should absolutely focus on ganking and getting your laners ahead, because your laners are like little children that need to be babysitted and you should never expect them to win their lane or help with objectives. However this does not improve you as a jungler. In flex/pro-play you should obviously gank because the ganks are coordinated, but that's a different game entirely.
However once you get out of silver, you should completely ignore your teammates and basically never gank, if they lose their lane then they are just ass and there is nothing you can do, you can't 1v9 every game like a superhero.
Especially when it comes to top lane, you should forget that the top lane even exist and NEVER gank it under any circumstances, the jungle role is the most impactful role and also the most tempo-dependent. If you lose tempo because you wasted your time ganking top lane then its not worth it, and god forbid you lose an objective because you ganked a losing top lane, then the entire game is lost. If your opponent jungler camps top lane and your top laner goes 0/10 it is still in your favor as long as you utilize that time to take objectives. It is always worth it to sacrifice the top lane for tempo/objectives and you have a much higher chance of winning the game.
However as a jungler you are highly-dependent on your midlaner, if your midlaner is AFK farming and does not rotate/help objectives then the game is lost and there is nothing you can do.
Below plat and above plat is like a completely different game, below plat every game is 1v9 and you have to pick the best ganking/most unkillable champ every game to have the best chance to 1v9 but in most cases even that won't be enough, in low ELO even Tryndamere jungle would be a very good choice because everybody is uncoordinated and you can kill at least 3 opps before you die. Obviously in higher ELO Trynda jungle is ass tho and you need to starting thinking about team comp/synergy/countering.
Summary - Your job as a jungler is not to gank but stay ahead of your opponent and take objectives at every cost, you will have to try steal even if it costs your life because objectives scale your entire team and that wins the game.

I struggle with constipation while ovulating (I have terrible ovulation issues). I will bloat up like a balloon and retain 7-10 lbs of water and be unable to use the restroom.
As a test I’ve only eaten fruit today, and feel amazing. Other times I’ve tried going vegan, I felt lethargic/shaky (but I would have chickpeas, pasta, etc). I’m even afraid to use oil because it feels heavy in my stomach.
What could this be?
