im kind of confused whether or not this guy likes me or not. so for context we never used to talk alot last year but this year we have started to talk more. we both are at the same internship right now at our university and here are some of the things hes done so far which have made my friends say he definitely likes me but im not sure because i think he has a girlfriend. bit when i mention this, people say that doesnt stop some guys and he definitely wants you.
here are some of the things hes done which he has never done with anyone else.
the other day i walked in a few days after my birthday had passed. he came up to me and asked me if it was my birthday the other day and fake pretending to be offended that i didnt tell him because he wanted to wish me happy birthday. and then he got super serious and came in close and he says "in all seriousness though, i hope you had the best birthday ever. you deserve it."
another time after that i came in one day and i walked past him without saying hi. he said hey good morning and then i said it as well but i kept walking. and then he complimented my hair (it was a pretty simple hairstyle i did, i didnt even think hed notice) and he called out and said hey you look really pretty today. you should do your hair like that more often, i like it.
when he said this my friend was standing beside him and she was like well thats a bit random (because he never talks to any of the other girls there and even if he does he NEVER says stuff like this). hes usually mean to other girls (not in a serious way but in a siblings bantering kind of way, but with me hes always the complete opposite.
theres been a lot of other instances like this but the most recent one was a few days ago. i was walking by and he started walking alongside me as we were going the same direction. i could see from the corner of my eye he was just staring at me, and i eventually looked over and he was just admiring me, and he didnt really say anything, until i said "what?" and he goes "oh! i was just wondering why you're walking so fast!" and he jokingly picked up his pace to match mine and he started making jokes and trying to make me laugh. and when this happened i had a few people come up to me later and ask if we were dating because it looked like it.
does he have a crush on me or am i looking too into things?

Salve a tutti. Tra poco mi verrá fornita un'auto aziendale. Mi é stato riferito che avró "diritto" ad un auto di segmento C (golf et similia) e da diverso tempo sto pensando a cosa prendere, senza che mi sia veramente deciso. Sono un uomo di 40 anni e vivo con la mia ragazza in una grande cittá in UK.
Ho recentemente restituito la renault Zoe che ho avuto per due anni in leasing, e per quanto amante della guida e impossibilitato a prendere un'altra elettrica, non mi sento cmq di rinunciare al cambio automatico visto che in cittá il manuale é una condanna.
La logica mi direbbe di andare su Golf (o T-Roc, se viene cmq considerata una segmento C). Mi piace molto la Corolla (con tutti i pro ed i contro del suo ibrido), specialmente in versione station wagon. Non mi piacciono i SUV per sé, tuttavia ne riconosco l'utilitá: in questo senso ho provato il Symbioz della Renault che, pur essendo eccitante come una versione di latino, devo dire mi sembra onesto, con tanto spazio, e a quanto pare abbastanza parco (in piú infotainment made in google pulito e completo).
La nuova Qashqai mi piacerebbe ma solo in versione e-power. Non disdegno SW, ma solo se hanno una bella linea. La golf mi piace forse piú di tutte esteticamente.
Cosa mi consigliereste? Grazie mille in anticipo.

2025.01.19 21:49 Parking_Fuel_6441 I (24M) want to break up with my girlfriend (28F) but it will devastate her.

I want to break up with my girlfriend, we are reaching almost two years together, but i want to end it before it even reaches that. She’s a sweet person, very genuine, very nice and caring but she is extremely beyond the limit of emotionally unstable. She’s has severe depression, anxiety, mood swings and anger and it scares me to think of living with her. I have been feeling like this ever since we hit out 8 month mark ever since she told me that I made HER feeling suicidal because I had surgery done and she unconsciously grabbed the area where I had surgery done and I screamed out in pain. I didn’t even touch her, didn’t even scream directly at her, i didn’t even make eye contact with her and she felt some type of way and stormed out because i screamed out in pain. That’s just one example, but she constantly makes me feel like i have to walk on egg shells, no matter whatever i say casually or even if i joke around, she gets extremely sensitive and talks about how she feels “unloved, unwanted, unheard, unseen, unvalued”. There was this one occasion where i was waiting for her to arrive at the Airbnb that her cousin and family rented out, we came in two separate cars because she had errands to do beforehand but I had to leave at a certain time. I arrived there early in the morning and spent time with her family at the Airbnb, however, my girlfriend took forever and she ended up arriving at the Airbnb at the time that I had to leave and because of that, she had a sourpuss face, was sad, upset and messing up the whole entire vibe i was having. I was happy to see that she arrived, i was excited to spend a little bit of time with her, and she ends up taking out her emotions on me saying that she feels unwanted and upset because i have to leave early, i didn’t call her at all to see if she was okay and that i should apologize for making her feel unwanted. Mind you, she’s doing this in front of everyone, and i was telling her “are you serious right now?” This continued for 3 days until she sent me voice messages blowing up screaming that I’m invalidating her feelings.
This is just two of many scenarios where she is extremely sensitive out of the nothing. She has SEVERE mood swings where one moment she is full of energy and smiling, then with a snap of a finger her energy goes down and she gets quiet, tired, social battery is low and then it gets picked up again! Other mood swings like she can be very happy, having a great time but then something triggers her where she gets angry and upset! It’s like we are always having a good time and she comes in with her bad energy and completely bursts my bubble. Recently, i have been having the strong urge to end it with her. But i know it will devastate her, she sees me as husband material, she wants kids with me and a future. Like in her head, she already has everything written down and I’m included. She’s been very suicidal lately, having extreme depressed episodes where she doesn’t talk to me, her psychiatrist even recommended her to try EMDR therapy because of everything she has gone through and is currently going through. Im hoping she tried EMDR therapy, because the way she cries over the nothing, gets upset easily is very draining! Especially with the mood swings, i never know which personality i am going to encounter! She gets angry very easily even when i say something casual this is completely innocuous!
I can’t even bring up how i feel towards her and towards her emotions because she will blow up and im scared if she will harm me or harm herself! Shes also very stubborn, if i tell her how i feel, she’s not going to take responsibility or even consideration for it and will blame my feelings on my past relationships (keep in mind, i actually have 0 exes. My GF has always blamed my feelings that i am still stuck on something from the past with my past relationships even though i don’t have any relationships!? wtf?!). She’s going to be very depressed, suicidal even more if i tell her how her emotions and her everyday venting and sensitiveness is draining me. I have no clue how to proceed with this since i don’t have any exes and my current GF is my first GF. I feel like at this point, I’m dating a human size mood ring, someone with different personalities and i never know who i am going to encounter, i feel like i have to tolerate and engage with her out of obligation rather than love. I also realized after our dates because of how emotional, sad, and how much she vents towards me, i feel a relief everytime she leaves me and we say goodbyes. I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s like my chest was heavy when I’m with her and once our date ends, i feel so much better and i deep relief.
Please help because i seriously don’t know what to do. I don’t want continue this relationship, but i don’t want to break up with her because she will possibly even harm herself because of this. I am also seeking therapy because of how i am doing mentally in this relationship and because i need guidance in this situation too.
