2025.01.19 23:16 Civil-Traffic-3359 Current MBA student, applying to jobs to escape it. How should I frame this?

I have come to realize that I made a mistake in attending my MBA program, and while I am doing well academically and socially, I don't believe it will give me the ROI that I wanted, and that it was ultimately not a good decision for my career goals. I am in the middle of my first year.
I am applying to full-time jobs, with the hopes of finding a role before I completely drop out of the program. I am trying to avoid a period of unemployment, and so would prefer not to take a leave of absence or drop out before I have a job lined up, so as to have a backup plan.
However, I am not sure how best to frame this on my resume. Presumably, companies would not want employees that are dropping out of their programs in order to join. They also probably would not prioritize people currently in grad school, with the thought that I wouldn't prioritize the job, or that I wouldn't be able to start until I finish. However, I also don't think it would be wise to lie on my resume and leave it out entirely.
I have been working part-time at a company throughout the MBA, so if I leave it out, I do not have a resume gap. However, there are some relevant classes from the MBA for the roles that I am applying to. My question boils down to --> should I:
1) Leave the MBA out of my resume and apply to jobs as if I was not in the program?
2) Include the MBA, be completely transparent about the fact that I am a current student who is looking to drop out
3) Include the MBA, but say that I am taking a leave of absence or something like this
Appreciate any advice.

be honest.. is it likely to be addressed bc i havent heard great things about depop support 😭 but i AM pretty upset about this. i want to know if i'm at fault somehow. i can provide screenshots if needed.
i had sold an international buyer a pair of glasses that i had bought that didnt fit me. i sold it in the exact same packaging i had received it in, packing paper and everything. everything was untouched, all i did was try them on then put them back in. to ship internationally from AUS, i need to fill out a customs form with the buyers number, and by the time they got back to me with their number, i was on a plane to the US. i informed them i wouldnt be able to ship til i got back. they were nice and understanding. that whole interaction took place within the span of 4 days. [i can understand being annoyed in that they did have to bump their message after they first sent it, i genuinely had not seen it. not a fan of the new update where offers show up in dms.]
i shipped it when i had the money soon after i returned, then it came in about 10-14 days, standard intl shipping. it was broken. and they immediately messaged me, accusing me of PURPOSELY selling a broken item, saying that it was disgusting of me to sell something that was broken. they left a bad review complaining about the month wait (even though it was out of my control and they knew that)and then said that i KNEW it was broken. and. now im just pissed off.
i dont mind refunding an item or even paying for a repair, i dont mind a bad review but for it to be a lie about what happened AND about my character really got to me. i was as cordial as i could be, explaining that i had used the same packaging and had no control over the breaking. i offered a refund + an extra sum for the trouble, and i offered to pay for any necessary repair, but i stood my ground in that it was completely unfair to accuse me of selling a broken item. i have over 50 sales with only 4-5 star reviews, im a trusted seller and i also gain nothing from selling something broken. im beyond upset. am i in the wrong? and will depop do anything about this?

Hello,
I am writing my biosketch for a grant for the first time as a PhD student and I am wondering how expansive I need to be when describing the positions that I have held? Should I include work that I have done that is not directly relevant to my research?
I ask this because I spent ~8 years pursuing an undergraduate degree. This is due to a combination of dually enrolling in community college as a high school student and then working 50-60 hour weeks in retail management for the first six years of my adulthood. I assume I shouldn't include that job since it is unrelated to my research and grant, but a part of me wants to include it since in my experience academics are pretty unfamiliar with "non-traditional" paths to a research career.
Alternatively, I could mention this in the "Personal Statement," or not mention it at all.
Perhaps I am overthinking this! Thanks for your input.

Zeppelin LP collection: Day 2 Went to a record store today, had to look through the “new arrivals” to find this beat up copy of IV. This one is from 1971, and has “PORKY” & “PECKO DUCK” in the deadwax. I paid $22, which was definitely too much, but I liked the vibe. If you’re going to overpay for one, IV is probably the one.
I included pics of all the stuff, figuring that most folks probably haven’t seen all the artwork & goodies. It’s about impossible to get a good shot of the deadwax markings.
My two favorite tracks on this one are Four Sticks and When the Levee Breaks. I remember buying this CD one summer…probably 1991. I walked to the record store and came home with it. I knew Stairway, but didn’t know any of the other tracks by name. I remember my surprise when Black Dog came on. “Hey, I know this one!” (And then many others too).

2025.01.19 23:16 Evening_Repair1755 New Package Handler, shift canceled day of, no notice.

Hi I just had my first shift at a FedEx warehouse in PA and I was supposed to be working 6PM to 10:30PM. Around like 11:30 this morning I got a notification that my shift for 01/19/25 was removed. I wasn’t texted, emailed, called, and I’m kind of left to guess did I not perform well enough on my first day ? I was told I packed excellently for my first day so I don’t think it was that but I just am confused about why I wasn’t really given any explanation and the corporate number I called in order to get more explanation, office was closed. All my other shifts were left alone so idk, if anyone else who’s worked for a while may have some insight on this I would appreciate it a lot. :)
