2025.01.20 05:35 Ok-Operation-2447 I lived because I was pissed TW: Death
I 26m am a car nut and use driving as my stress reliever. In 2020 I was living in south Florida and since everything was shut I drove A LOT. Given the nature of Floridians I was use to avoiding the crazies but this time was the closest I’ve ever been to becoming a ghost. This was on a weekday night around 9pm, I was driving on a main road that’s 4 lanes and I’m driving pretty fast in the left lane. As I pass a group of cars I notice one has their high beams on. This is one of my biggest pet peeves especially since I have sensitive eyes. I keep driving but the car keeps up behind me and continues to hit my mirrors perfectly blinding. So I’m getting annoyed cus this happens for a mile. We get to a red light at a big intersection and I’m in the front waiting to just gun it and leave the car behind and not have to worry about my eyes hurting. Light turns green and I floor it. As I am crossing the threshold I look both ways for cops just in case. As I look left through the intersection I see headlights coming real close. In the matter of a few seconds I realize that a white Honda accord just flew through the intersection and as I’m processing and on the other side, I look into my rear view mirror and hear BOOM. That accord hit the car in the second lane that was next to me, on the driver side and hit it so hard that both cars flew out of my view. I keep driving home on the same road and see emergency vehicles driving by one after the other. I looked up the accident a few days later and turns out that accord was going well over 100mph through the intersection and everyone that was involved was no longer alive.
I got home 15 minutes later and I realized had I not been pissed, had I not floored it immediately after the green light, had I delayed my reaction by a few seconds. The last thing I would have seen was a white Honda accord.

I took 2 sessions of tca cross . one on dec 3rd 2024 and the other on jan 3rd 2025 . my frst session healing was normal. but after scnd session my scar seems to be worse than before.It's more than 14 days and Not sure if it is still in healing phase. my doc has suggested 6 sittings should i continue with the treatment ?? i have attached the pic of how it looks now and before.

I've seen a number of posts like this but no solution that works. I have a lot of music/playlists on my phone and I'd prefer that to be the default. Unfortunately, a few months ago, Siri started defaulting to Amazon Music...unless I'm very specific and add the phrase "Apple Music" (e.g. "Play Boys II Men from Apple Music"), although that phrase doesn't let me add it to the queue or do other slightly more complex tasks. It was the iOS update that made a lot of Apple apps nestled in with third-party ones in Settings
Any solutions aside from deleting Amazon Music? "Use with Siri Requests" is turned off

It gets me kinda mad how people don't realize this and I just wanna talk about it
Im tired of seeing "well I did 18k damage so it's the supports fault" "well I did 30k healing so it's the dps fault" "i blocked alot of damage and my supports and dps just did nothing all game with that"
Im gonna use the dps and support as my examples cause tank is hard to explain
(1 DPS) just because you had high damage means nothing. You had a solid 5 kills and just shot at enemies you knew weren't killable. You would rush so many 1V×'es just to die and while you were doing that, ur support players are dead cause you didn't protect them
(2 SUPPORT) i would way rather have a 15k healing luna snow that made some amazing freezes, than a 35k healing luna snow that didn't freeze anything. Another example is for cloak and dagger. Sure you did alot of healing but how many times did you land a blind on the enemy team? How many times did you use fade to save ur team from an iron man ult that match?
What I'm saying is that stats aren't as important as stuff you can't see, and that saying "well I had the most______" is a cope from ur not so great gameplay (btw I'm not saying stats on the leaderboard are 100% useless)
Also this isn't a rage post I kinda just felt like making this post outta nowhere

2025.01.20 05:35 Current_Pear9409 Feeling fatigued by the time I reach Grit Gate.
I have restarted, picking a different Mutated Human calling or True Kin Caste so many times it’s not funny.
I go through the same routine: Start either in Joppa or a random village, get the quests there and then explore all over.
Once I hit Six Day Stilt, get Lulihart’s quest to visit Bey Lah, do the quests there, I head off to Grit Gate and then Golgotha and that is about when the fatigue sets in, I can sometimes get the Waydroid, repair it, and turn it in, but even then I have been playing for a while and get bored.
It sucks because Caves of Qud has been really fun, and this happens a lot to me.
