Hello. Continue na ako sa pag shift ng career from game dev to web dev. I am learning front end first bit by bit. Then kakatapos ko lang aralin ung html and css. I think need ko mas mag give ng time sa pag create ng sample sites or projects dahil alam ko di enough ang pag follow lang sa tutorial lalo na sa css. Meron ba kayo ma tuturo na pede kong gawin pang practice or website na pede ko puntahan? Purely html and css lang sana. Kahit simple lang. Pag medyo comfortable na ko sa skills ko sa dalawa saka ako mag proceed on how to make responsive websites. Thank you in advance sa makakatulong.

2025.01.20 05:32 SlowResearch2 Ghosts and Flakes are the Worst
So this is finally starting to be called out more on the internet, so I wanted to add my two cents.
Ghosts and Flakes drive me absolutely crazy, regardless of the reason for doing so. I've been friends with some people who just make up a bunch of excuses for why they can't do something. Or, like clockwork, they just cancel at the last minute because they "don't feel like it." Then they just instantly ghost because they don't want to have the conversation at all, and I hate now normalized this is becoming.
I've seen numerous accounts of people agreeing to or accepting plans just because they're too scared to say no, then just make up excuses to get out of it. Then they just ghost you to not have to have the conversation. If there is some kind of problem in the friendship, they're too scared to discuss it. I've even seen myself and heard stories of people who purposely drive others crazy like this and are purposely bad friends just to drive others away to not have to have those anxiety inducing conversations. I've been prematurely blocked before dates and hangouts just because apparently.
And before I get the "Well you're the common denominator here. You must be such a bad friend that you drive everyone away" comments, for every flake, ghost, or bad apple I've had, I've had twice as many good friends who will commit, show up, have the conversations, and communicate to better serve both of our needs. This doesn't happen with everyone, just an increasing behavioral pattern I've seen.
These sentiments like "I don't owe anyone anything" or "Nobody needs an explanation" or "No is a complete sentence" are statements I agree with in a vaccum, but they've gone way too far. "Boundaries" have been taken to extreme and ridiculous extents by some people. I've gotten better at just letting the ghosts and flakes go and focusing on my time and energy on those who return that time and energy into me, but it drives me crazy that this behavior and pattern have become so normalized that 1: so many people do it, and 2: this is just the standard of what others expect. And I refuse for this to be my standard. I refuse to consider this as normal.
Then these people complain about being lonely, but they refuse to even do the bare minimum to upkeep friendships. People blame social anxiety, but the only way to learn to better manage social anxiety is to immerse yourself in social situations to firsthand learn how to manage it.

2025.01.20 05:32 MY_OC_NOT_YOURS [SSHD] Skyward Sword bird refuses to respond.
While playing Skyward Sword I've had an issue where upon getting on the bird it immediately nose dives into the clouds and then spins. I've tried to tilt my controls, reset my gyro and even attach the joycons back to the switch. Regardless of what I do I can't make the bird move. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I fix it?

Hello can someone help me figure this out. I have a 2.9 kw system with Enphase Microinverters. and an Enphase IQ 4 combiner box in garage. Long story short, the Solar installer finished until this stage & went bankrupt. I am not an electrician or an engineer. To my little understanding, At the output of the combiner box we have a 240 volts AC current coming out. Why can't I utilize that electricity directly to charge an EV (or use a EV Charger to do it) or charge a ecoflow dpu ? Can someone please explain to me why this cannot be done or is there a way to do it.
