2025.01.20 05:30 SafeImplement2458 No spoilers, first time watching PT. TWO
Just finished season 1 (and the first episode of season 2 cause that cliffhanger was diabolical)
Also, I'm enjoying this for the first time, so if you haven't seen the show yet, don't read cause imma talk openly.
My thoughts.(again, all questions are rhetorical cause I don't want spoilers)
- I am so genuinely upset that Clark and Chloe got SO CLOSE to being a thing. She is SO SAD, and Clark is SO OBLIVIOUS like he ALWAYS IS. I am very upset.
- I made a post a few weeks ago talking about how excited I was for Clark to fly (I'm an avid enjoyer of watching heroes find out they have powers), and a lot of people made it sound like it's not coming any time soon... but at the end there... he's talking about saving Lana in the tornado and he mentions it kinda felt like he flew to the truck. So like... does he fly this season???
- I'm very excited to see where Lex starts his villain arc. Right now, I'm rooting for him more than most of the other characters, but I'm assuming that at some point he gets all "supervillainey". I'm kinda wondering if this is where it starts because of the whole dad thing, and also he killed someone for the first time in his life (as far as we know), but at the same time, I wonder if he ever has a "villain arc", but instead just gets way overzealous about things and then Clark sees him as a villain, but the rest of the world doesn't. I'm very interested.
- Side note, I don't know if this is going to change, but I absolutely despise Lana right now. She can't make up her mind. She clearly has feelings for Clark, but won't break up with Whitney, and yet she cried when he left, but didn't even say "I love you" back. Whitney is honestly one of my personal favorite characters right next to... all of them cause their all so good and the acting is amazing but good gracious can Lana just leave Clark alone and leave the dang show? I know she doesn't because I saw an old copy of the VHS tapes and she and lex were in the cover of like Season 7 or something (maybe they're together? I dunno but that doesn't seem right or okay. As long as her and Clark don't get together though, so be it) but she just irritates me. Every time Clark and Chloe have a moment, she has to ruin it somehow. She is the worst.

Before you all downvote me just read it out. I'm not against Kv for sure.. I'm happy that he won. But let's not forget it was a shitty shitty season tbh. The evictions were rigged and this lot of top 6 was definitely the worst of all seasons. The only gift to the neutral audience was Kv s win in the end, but don't forget the rest of the story. It was one of the most biased and unfair seasons ever. Multiple unfair evictions, bullying of contestants, spreading narratives , targeting fans (Digvijay's fans) was all the worst they could do. Had the season followed it's course positively and it remained unbiased and less of rage bait this win could've landed more positively. A significant number of audience had given up and didn't want to continue watching the show post this season after streaks of disappointed post s13. Hence kv won, so that they don't lose out on the core audience. Makers played..afterall this is what they wanted. So many people are posting that we'll watch bb19, the same people who regretted following the season 😂 exactly. Makers will continue playing w audiences and audience will continue giving in to the rage bait and the adrenaline rush it causes just with the hope that their fav will win in the end. So yes, the makes played once again and now people are again excited for ott4 and bb19. But i would still say don't forget how Ewwsha,Shilpa,Vivian were the freeloaders who stole the spot of deserving contestants and how they were done dirty especially Digvijay. They could've kept Dv instead of Rajat. Digvijay, Chahat, Shrutika, Kashish 4 unfair evictions to keep the freeloaders.

Hi I'm new in Reddit, I've been practicing Kung Fu Hung Gar and Sanda as a hobby, I've only been to two Sanda tournaments (one I won and one I lost), I went to an open martial arts tournament where I fought in Light Contact and although I lost, I was in second place so I consider that I did not do so bad, then I was thinking that for health reasons of my brain (as possible brain damage) and personal to stop competing in Sanda and only compete in Light Contact, would you consider competing in Light Contact safer than Sanda?

My friend is taking the train from the Netherlands to Paris to meet me. I’m already here in Paris. I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions of good meetings spots we could plan to meet at by Gare du Nord? I was there once and remember being overwhelmed how big it was. I also don’t want to pay to go inside if I dont have to. Any places around that would make a good meeting spot? If it helps we’re planning on going to the Pigalle neighbourhood after.

I’m looking for honest feedback. I play warzone on a Xbox series s, on a monitor. I have a 2.3 k/d average 15-20 kills per game. The past two weeks I have struggled to break 10 kills. Does anybody else feel like the game is starting to become unplayable, I can’t figure out if it’s just me playing like trash, or if anybody else feels the same way. I’m optimistic that the season 2 update will improve on some bugs, and improve the game. I have a glitch where I have automatic automatic parachute behavior turned off and no matter what my parachute opens automatically, I’ve turned it on and then back off but it still glitches out, anybody else have this problem

Today I was reading Acharya Adi Shankara's commentary on Bhagavad Gita 18.66. He classifies the four varnas according to the apportionment of the three Gunas and actions arising out of them.
It is "alleged" that Adi Shankara in his early days was a casteist.
In relation to that, if the four varnas are classified according to the apportionment of the Gunas, then does he say anywhere, that a human is born with sattva Gunas as pradhan(primary) Gunas(i.e., a man is born a Brahmin)?
Also does he says that the apportionment of Gunas can change throughout lifetime, or is it permanent?
