I recently got into iems and was thinking about buying a bluetooth dac when I saw someone say that iPhones don’t support hi res (idk if that’s the right term) bluetooth audio. I saw that some companies make different music players that support hi res so I wouldn’t have to deal with the pesky cord. I listen to music constantly and I am a line cook. The cable would constantly be annoying and putting it in my shirt would be annoying because I often have to put it down and use it for recipes while moving around getting ingredients. would it be worth it to buy one. It would be very convenient for me, but I can always use my airpods while doing prep work.

2025.01.20 05:35 ddontworyboutit George Pickens?
For context, I watch both the Rams and the Steelers, so I know their situations pretty well.
The state of the Steelers roster is pitiful right now, and it just about looks like they're about to blow it up. League sources have indicated that the Steelers are looking to trade George Pickens this offseason.
George Pickens is an absolute athletic freak who exploits zone defenses and, if the other team is running man, has the best catch radius and contested catch ability in the league. Him and Puka Nacua would be an insane WR combo.
The stat sheets don't do him justice. Last year, he totaled 1140 yards, with Kenny Pickett, Mason Rudolph, and Mitch Trubisky throwing to him. At one point this year, he was top 3 in receiving yards, and he could have easily finished within the top 10 if he hadn't been out for three games.
The only issues with him are work ethic and sportsmanship. He has been reported to routinely show up to practice late, give up on plays, and I'm sure you are all aware of his on-the-field antics. However, I think his recent outbursts haven't been as bad as Steelers fans would make them seem. He has had bum QBs throwing to him the last 3 years, and, recently, he has continued to be targeted less and less even though he's the Steelers' #1 offensive weapon (fuck you, Arthur Smith). I imagine his morale and effort will improve once he's put in a real NFL offense with a real QB.
We could probably get him for something like a 3rd and a 2026 6th. If Sneed has the opportunity, I think it would be foolish to pass it up.

I read a manhua a few years back online, but now I can't remember its name or find it. I remember a few details I'll list out.
- it had a very detailed, sketchy art style. It definitely wasn't your usual smooth anime-esque manhua you usually see.
- It was set in a high fantasy world. There was a war against "monsters" they called angels. They defeated the angels, but later the kingdom got a princess who I'm 90% sure is secretly an angel. The kingdom absolutely loved the princess.
- the mc was this cold, mysterious guy who's true idenity was unknown. He had black stuff coming off of him, wore bandages and armor and concealed his true appearance.
- the two were traveling together for some reason, I don't remember. All I know is that it was a really good story. I don't have access to the computer I used to read it so I can't find it anymore.

2025.01.20 05:35 SpicyEnticy Server-sided Spotlights?
The spotlights are pretty small, and they move around quite a bit. It makes it a bit difficult to utilize. They also seem to be server-sided.
Our characters are client-sided. What we see happen, happens on the server a moment later. So the server always registers our character as slightly behind where we really are on our screens.
For this reason, when following moving spotlights, you can't be in the back portion of it. If you are, the server will think you're not inside of it, and you won't get the buff.
Personally, I think they should be a bit bigger, move a little slower, or a bit of both.
Thoughts?

2025.01.20 05:35 BrokenNES Toshiba 32a33 9 months later. Toshiba tube + curved screen + component = ???
 | Ignore the Christmas lights, I didn’t realize they were visible in every photo lmaoo This thing looks awesome, even a little TOO bright and colorful at times despite the settings not being that high I don’t think, I spent days getting it right: contrast at 51, brightness at 50, sharpness at 40, and color at 55. Unfortunately my phone is pretty old and it can’t capture the screen very well, it looks much better in person. I do have one complaint: I wish the warping in the top left (see photo 2) didn’t bother me so much every time there’s a horizontal line up there. It’s definitely more noticeable in person. I got convergence strips a while ago but I’ve been procrastinating trying them out. I did take the back off, but all that really accomplished was confirming there is indeed a Toshiba tube in here All consoles are original hardware, except most of the games. Everything is component, specifically HD Retrovision (except the Wii that I play the GC games on, that uses the Nintendo cable). The SNES is a 1CHIP with the contrast switch turned down. I do have brightness resistors for it but I’m not sure if it’ll really look better than the contrast switch. I'm thinking I'd have to buy early, so I'm strategizing maybe tucking it into my coat, belting it so it doesn't slide out, then checking it - but what if it someone sticky fingers it in the coat check. Otherwise, I'm not sure how I could keep the record safe for the GA show. Thanks in advance for any ideas, crew xx
