2025.01.20 06:58 Steveharvey9809 GPU- Event ID 153 and NVLDDMKM issue
Hi all, I have previously posted about this issue and asked for help, but I believe I left out some details.
This started happening about a night ago, where any game that I would play would just eventually crash, even while doing nothing intensive. At times I was just standing still or in a lobby and it would crash. Often times, with this crash, my screens would go black. This put an immediate red flag to my GPU. This was EVERY game, on any platform.
My pc specs-
Intel core i7 9700k 3.6ghz
Nvidia geforce RTX 2080 ti
Windows 10
32gb corsair vengenze ram (4x8gb)
ample cpu and gpu cooling
750 watt corsair modular power supply (almost brand new)
I have tried lots of software troubleshooting, and performed tests on my pc. My pc will run a benchmark just fine. I did SFC and DISM on command prompt, and did Chkdsk on every drive. I also did a windows memory diagnostic test. All these pointed to no errors. I have used ddu and reintalled drivers countless times. Restarted countless times. Changed out power cables, tried different pci-e slots. I did all kinds of things. I also ran a stress test, or a stability test, which crashed within minutes.
I was on the phone with nvidia support for hours trying to solve the issue. At this point, they have just said I need to get a new graphics card.
Each time the game crashes, I get an error in event viewer. The error is something like: nvlddmkm application stopped and has been restarted, or nvlddmkm is not available. Something random like that. I really do not want to have to get a new card, because this card should be fine, as it's only around 4 years old.
Right now I am running a radeon rx 570 in the same slots with the same cable, no issues what so ever. Leading me to believe it is card specific, or nvidia specific.
If anyone has any insight, please do let me know!

This was from a few years ago. Had excruciating pain when I breathed, but also without breathing existing just hurt so bad. Prior, I had started smoking a weed vape pen cause it was convenient and subtle, and developed the worst cough I've ever had in my life.. it was like a donkey smoking a pipe and then coughing it's lungs out. Anyways, got to the point where I felt stuff shifting in my ribcage and it hurt to be alive. Finally found a chiropractor who discovered I had a huge knot(s) below my armpit. She worked her magic and gave me the best, most painful, but most satisfying crack of my entire life. Anyways to this day I always wonder wtf was going on with my ribs? As you can see in this pic (I sucked in so that the ribs were visible), one side does not look like the other. Any chiropractors or bone dr people out there have any ideas about what was happening here???

Hey all,
I very rarely do shop and deliver anymore as it’s not worth the time but I will occasionally accept ones from convenience stores as those are usually pretty quick.
This morning I had an order for a few miscellaneous items plus a couple of energy drinks.
Everything was available except the energy drinks, the store didn’t stock the requested substitute either.
There was an option to scan “any similar item” but anything I tried said either barcode unrecognised or this is not an energy drink.
The customer is unresponsive as they always are so the cashier and I agreed that the only course of action is to refund the drinks.
DoorDash allows customers around here to message you up to 30 minutes after delivery.
At around the 28 minute mark, this customer starts having a winge about how all they wanted was caffeine and that they now have to wait 5 days for a refund. Also apparently it’s my fault that they’re also broke and don’t get paid until tomorrow.
Before I could even respond, the 30 minute timer closed the chat (lucky 🤬).
What’s the bet if I could get a valid substitute to scan, they wouldn’t then have a winge it’s a flavour they didn’t like.
Here’s a crazy idea, if you’re too poor to order delivery, don’t order delivery 🤯
If you need something that badly, get off your arse and go get it yourself ya muppet.
End Rant.
Anyone else encounter this scanning issue?

I 18M am a first year medical student in a private medical college. i am considering going for foreign exams. there are a lot of questions- 1. whats the process of the examination 2. is there a different way to study for them unlike the uni exams or neet pg 3. if so how should i study for them 4. are flashcards necessary to crack these exams 5. if so how should i use the flashcards as i had never even heard of them a few weeks back
I have absolutely no idea how these exams work and am just reading the chapters in the standard textbooks from front to back (probably not the most efficient).
any other suggestions or advice are also welcome.

My CNA course starts in late Feb— so I am not certified and definitely don’t have any experience. I have been thinking about where I want to work after I finish my classes and what kind of shift I want.
Morning/Day shift is probably going to be my choice, I wouldn’t do well with nights. But PRN has piqued my curiosity a bit. Has anyone worked this kind of schedule and it been worth it? Or is this the kind of schedule you take when you need extra shifts? I’m honestly not sure how it works. What do these kind of shifts typically look like?
