Used to be a pretty big gaming nerd, WoW was my game of choice. I don’t game much anymore, but am willing to get back into it casually if it’s something that interests you.

Mine has been a slow burn.. Im on 50mg and have been for about 2/3 months.
I just now noticed something isn't right aftrr to going to ER from heart palps and chest pains from anxiety.(husband and doctor think)
Mid December I was feeling really odd like I was tired and quite. Then end of December i was feeling dizzy lightheaded very very tired even with caffeine or sleeping for a long time like I was on auto drive then I had the ER episode.
Ever since then, I feel worse like im not taking my meds at all. I feel like im back to how I was before. And that was a dark place..
I'm not totally sure if it's too high or low but. I wanna hear what happened for you guys. I'm nervous again, thinking I'm not going to feel like how i was before

I'm Pakistani national (Male) Married to an Indian national. The only legal document we have is from the Indian Consulate in Dubai which is a marriage certificate issued by them in 2022. We have not registered our marriage with local authorities in Dubai or the UAE.
Through mutual decision, we've decided to part ways. Given the above information, we need assistance in navigating the above. The Indian embassy insist on going to Dubai courts, which to me doesn't make sense since we haven't registered our marriage with local authorities here.

2025.01.20 06:50 Future_Party3644 reverb needs to do way more to stop scam listings
Reverb needs to make a policy that new sellers can only sell like $250 for first transaction, then when successful (positive feedback) limit second sale at $500, and keep incrementing. I see WAY too many scam listings from brand new accounts.
I was scammed buying on reverb a couple years ago from such a "seller", realized it after making the purchase, called reverb and asked them to stop the transaction and transfer of my money. Surprise! they say they can't and I need to take it up with paypal. After multiple calls with paypal, one specialist finally sided with me and said "yeah the seller is a brand new account out of the Philippines and has a lot of red flags and is likely scammer...is already in another dispute with a scam claim.." Then he said the funds are in hold for 3 days and they will get it sorted out and get the transaction cancelled/reversed. At the beginning of the 3rd day, I was nervous because I had't heard anything, called them and they said "ok we see this is a scam and will not let my payment go through". Next day, surprise! Funds went through! Scammer got my $2700. Pay pal fought me tooth and nail and would not give me my money back. They actually insinuated that I was a scammer 😡. I then started to wonder if was paypal employees doing the scamming. I lost like 2 weeks of my life's productivity and jeopardized my job over this because I was so infuriated that I could sleep or concentrate on my job. I think I aged a couple years those two weeks. Reverb kept referring me back to paypal and visa-versa. After weeks of back-and-fourth and on the fringe of a mental breakdown, Reverb finally gave me my money back. Thank God. I have a feeling they did so only because I had some other high dollar sales on my record. If I was just a new or low-dollar customer, I doubt they would have made it right for me.
In the end, Reverb is flooded with dead-obvious scam listings. Why aren't they stopping the listings effectively? Why don't they have more prevention in place in the transaction process? My experience left a bad taste in my mouth for Reverb (more like PTSD) so I've since been avoiding using them for high dollar purchases.

Hey everyone, I've been a junior developer for a little over a year now and have been mostly writing in Go, but I've recently become interested in getting into making software for embedded systems on the side as a hobby. I've never really looked into hardware or how it works but I've known that C is the go to language for it (I know assembly exists but I'm not looking to learn that at the moment). I was doing some research and have seen a lot of people recently mentioning Zig, saying that it's the "new" C and that if you know Zig, then you know C as it's pretty much the same thing but better?
However, I also noticed that pretty much all examples of software for embedded systems are written in C which is why I'm leaning more towards learning C and then maybe moving over to Zig down the line, but if everyone is saying that zig is the future, should I just start learning it now?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
