I was at my uncle's funeral. Everyone was crying, and I just started to be very afraid for my health, that I might die soon, I started to interpret things as signs that I was going to die soon, so i think i have some mental issues or they are really signs (saying that i have a funeral today, not that i am going to funeral, saying that maybe i will live till 50yo, and if i say so it probably doesn't happen, also this need of confession maybe is a sign) I also started to fear for my life after death. During the mass, the thought occurred that I will soon go to confession, I am determined and ready to do it, but I wonder what the reason is. It seems to me that, having experienced the death of a loved one, I want to confess to be free from sin, if something happened to me and I'm afraid it will happen quickly. I think I also want to do it preventively. I didn't think I want to confess to be able to be a better Christian and get closer to God, still in my mind the reason to do it is to cleanse myself in case something happens to me, so it is like a tool for me, like a shower that I take, because of fear of death. Is such a confession good? Is it better to wait or follow the impulse? How can I change my mindset?

I'm a college girl and last year I met this guy who showed he was interested in me. We'd go to the same on-campus clubs and stuff and when he saw me he'd talk to me etc. I reciprocated his attention but over the summer realized I didn't have any genuine feelings for him. I also met a guy around that time who I did end up having feelings for, so when we got back to school (guy #2 goes to same school) I tried to make it obvious to first guy that I wasn't interested. But I was pretty frigid ngl, didn't know what else to do. I feel bad about it and now I'm trying to be friendly, but when I first started trying to give him the signal he had happened to say something kinda rude about my crush (not sure he knew I liked the guy at the time) which ofc I didn't like but I think he assumed he had run me off by saying it. He kinda seemed to think i hated his guts. He said something a couple weeks later when he was chatting with me and a girlfriend about how he was a bit much sometimes and people didn't always like him but "he could win people over" and looked right at me lolol. That's when I assumed he was pursuing me still and was like well crap. He also seemed antagonistic to my crush too when we were together, not mean but just his jokes didn't sit well with me tho my crush didn't seem to notice. Now fast forward a semester and he's quit that and is now being super nice to my crush, I don't detect as much antagonistic stuff in his fooling around and now my crush would probably say they're friends to some extent. They chat when they see each other and he has started coming to talk to us when we're hanging out or studying with people. From some comments he makes, specifically to me in these settings, he has seemed to be trying to show me he's interesting and fun and looking for assurance that I don't hate his guts. He has seemed relieved to find I do like him as a person. As I said, I'm not being frigid now. But like, he's also kinda buttering my crush up. Like hey you should come over for dinner sometime dude.... Is that weird? is this guy just trying to be nice and be on good terms with us and make sure I don't hate him, or is he actually trying to like "win me over"? Insights would be amazing. I'm probably reading too much into this crap but still.

Is the weight gain permanent?
First of all i'm not diagnosed with bipolar disorder i'm just asking this over here cuz I had experience with meds, the thing is that I was prescribed seroquel like three years ago but I stopped two years ago or, I don't really remember cuz it was a cloudy time for me, well as you guys know I gain sooo much weight like 10kg or so and i'm skinny so it's noticeable.
I was always skinny even tho I ate a lot but since I stopped this med I still have some weight so I wanna know if it is permanent or not cuz i'm really overthinking about it and I don't feel really good right now, 6 months ago a new psychiatrist prescribed me with Risperidone but I just tried one and that's it cuz it make me lose all my little strength that I have. For some context I don't exercise and I mostly procrastinate so Idk if I have some belly because of my age or bad alimentation but years ago I could eat whatever I want and never gain weight like ever. Did this med changed me forever? I just used to take 50mg and that's like a very small amount, of course I use have that with antidepressants and pregabalin.

Hello, I'm working myself into a pickle and I'd really appreciate some advice.
I have been offered a job in the community, 3 days a week, it's in a field I'm interested in and the hours are ideal for my situation.
Reference checks are underway. I'm full time on the staff bank at the moment but had to leave my substantive post a few months ago because my daughter was the victim of a serious crime. The offender is on remand and there will be a high court case probably towards the end of this year.
When it happened I was granted one day's 'carers leave' by my manager, but she said I'd need to take any other leave as sick leave. I think this was because i hadn't been in post long: only six months. I handed in my notice after a week or so,, I knew I wouldnt be able to commit to a rota as a single parent, my daughter needed a lot of support and I was all over the place. I worked one shift after the first two weeks of fit notes, it was much too soon and I had to get signed off again. My remaining notice was taken as sick leave.
I'm sure this will come up during reference checks and I'm happy to discuss it if it does, but my worry is that my offer might be rescinded without my having the opportunity to discuss it. Is this likely to happen? My other references from the last three years will be fine.
