2025.01.20 08:19 Lomp84 Can raspberry Pi 5 in a Flirc case handle 2-4 BT controllers without issue?

I have read conflicting info on here and elsewhere that 2.4ghz controllers are recommended over BT for Batocera emulation but some say that has more to do with the dongle, AND those reports are not specific to Raspberry Pi, which has its own BT built in. However, I have my RPI5 in a Flirc case, which is an aluminum passive cooling case, and I'm wondering if that will affect the signals and cause them to get cross when using BT controllers. I just ordered 2 PS4 style BT controllers and don't know yet if I want another 2 for four player games of it I should just use the extra wireless controllers I have for players 3 & 4. I saw some recommend a TP Link UB500, but I think that was intended for machines without BT already (and TBH, I'm trying to avoid getting into the weeds with learning Linux and how to add drivers. What attracted me to Batocera was it's plug and play ease of use). For additional context, one of the driving factors is that I have my RPI5 in another room and it can see the wifi but disconnects after a few seconds. I can figure out why bc even without a case it had trouble but I saw a few people saying if the USB ports are in use then the RPI struggle with wifi, so I was hoping to switch from wireless controllers using a USB dongle to BT controllers.

Und erneut diese eine Frage: Was kommt mir als Nächstes ins Zelt?
Leider musste ich die Erfahrung mit RQS erst selber machen und war von den Pflanzen nicht so recht überzeugt. Darauf habe ich bei einem Angebot bei Barneys Farm zugeschlagen und nun bin ich mir selbst für die zu Fein 😂
Nach nun einiger Recherche über anständige Seeds bin ich nun über gasstationseeds bei Dohja und wizards Trees gelandet. Da sind die Preise natürlich nochmal andere, aber ich wäre bereit pro Samen 50€ zu zahlen. Auf Grund des Preises würde ich mir wirklich nur einen Samen kaufen, was natürlich etwas Glück bedarf, weil ich nicht 5 Stück anziehen werde und dann die besten selektiere 😅
Ich möchte mich einfach an besonderem Gras erfreuen und nicht nach drei Monaten Pflege 0815 weed haben.
Derzeit habe ich noch von Barneys (alle fems): -tropicanna banana -Ananas Express -weddingcake -Blue Sunset sherbert
Vielleicht kann ja jemand Erfahrung vom Wechsel von stanni breedern zu „premium“ Züchtern 🤘🏻

For a bit more insight, I’ve worked at my job longer than my current manager, and he rarely does the tasks that I do. Most things I make, I’ve never seen him do.
Lately I’ve noticed him pointing out small things more often, and butting in to give me advice that I already know before I even get to that task. Even at some point last week, he lied and criticised me for something that I made and said it looked wrong, even though I know he didn’t assess it because his shift was over before I finished, and there were no issues with the final product.
Anyway, now I’m being accused of not following instructions and making too many mistakes, while he literally admitted that the equipment I have is janky and some of the written instructions are incomplete and/or inaccurate. But he basically told me I just have to figure it out regardless.
And what makes it even more frustrating, is that he makes way more mistakes than I do. And a couple times before, I’ve been criticised, and then once he actually looked into it, he ran into the same problem and realised I was given the wrong information.
I’m a bit confused. I’m not a professional, my job is just to follow instructions and execute that. But how am I supposed to follow them, when they’re admittedly inaccurate, incomplete, and the equipment required doesn’t work properly? And if he knows these are issues, why is he making it my problem instead of fixing them himself or talking to HR about fixing our equipment?
But anyway, I’ve found a couple other employment options, and I’m heavily considering applying. But I’m interested to see if anyone thinks I’m just overreacting, or if it sounds like a management problem.

It feels unbelievable because 3 years ago I attempted suicide. A month ago I was feeling depressed and doubting my ability to get a job. I thought I wasn't cut out for life. I believed I didn't have enough value to get a job.
Today is the day where I've proven myself wrong and I couldn't be happier. I'm so excited to be alive. I'm looking forward to seeing how my life will unfold in the coming years.
