I’m not a teacher but a college student (second year), I have a basic ICT qualification so maybe I’m biased but I feel as if lots of teachers have no clue how to use a computer, laptop whatever you want to call it. Most days I sit in my desk watching my teachers struggle using the technology they’ve been handling for years and i feel as if it affects the learning.
They also have issues with uploading files in the right place as extra help when we’re not in class, I’m happy to help most days but I feel like it’s bordering on incompetence if someone twice or thrice my age needs my help or the help of the ICT department every single lesson.
I’m sorry for the rambling but basically if you’re a teacher do you think it should be mandatory for teachers regardless of their subject should be trained to use a computer without constant assistance?

Hi all, i work as a cook in a restaurant in Brussels.
Last week i got fired from my employer and was given a paper to sign where it says that from the 20 of January, one week notice period will start and my last day on the job will be the 27th of January.
The reason i was fired was only said verbally, i was not good "enough' for the job, but on the paper he gave there is no mention of it and only mentions droit a' l outplacement. What is this?
I moved to Belgium October 2024 and started working for this restaurant in December 2024. i was hired with a 7 months contract, with Attestaion Activa for the Brussels Region.
im a EU citzen, do i have right to a compensation-idemnite' following my termination and what are my rights? Where can i get help with the paperwork for an eventual unemployement? I worked 1 year in canada and 2 years in the Netherlands prior to working in Belgium

Like I said i am so unbelievably grateful for the works of Miyazaki-san. His game’s literally saved my life. The last couple of years were very hard for me.. I fought against Depression, adhd and suicidal thoughts.. the only thing that kept me alive in this time like literally were these games.. these game were more for me than games it just felt like home every time when I played these games. I pushed myself to get down the bosses, I’ve tried harder every time when I got killed by a boss (oh dear especially Malenia and Slave Knight Gael) the time I’ve spended in these games is unmeasurable lol but also the best time in my life. Like in the games I pushed myself up in rl. I reffused to let go on my life and kept pushing forwards. I’ve arised from the ashes as a new men. And for that I appreciate all the work of Miyazaki-san.
