Recently a former friend of 20 years completed his trial for possession of csam. He had thousands of images and videos and he also was found to have been manipulating youth for selfies, then trading them on the deep web for more. All incredibly malicious and dangerous. It all went back to around the time we met and had been ongoing. He got a spot on the SO list and 2 years community service.
Obviously I'm very close to this situation but I am at a loss for words. I truly believe the prison system needs to be abolished, but what kind of consequences are we aiming for in an anarchist context? Because I feel like a hypocrite being angry at the system for not throwing him in a maximum security prison, and I know it is partly due to my ignorance on this subject. Would situations like this result in banishment? Something more severe? Something more healing?

So, the videocall feature was finally released to Android recently, so I gave it a try. I have experienced a few issues though, so I'd like to check if this could be due to the fact that the feature is still fresh on the platform, or if anyone also experienced this on IOS and knows any workarounds.
The most frustrating issue I've experienced is that, for some reason, Lily will just randomly stop listening to your inputs. As in, no matter what you say, nothing seems to register. This is especially frequent right after she says that she needs to go, but it can happen at any moment without any kind of explanation; even at the very start. This results in you having to quit the conversation ahead of time and losing the exp, which can be rather frustrating since it's not much to begin with. Having it happen right at the end of the very end of the conversation is especially bothersome.
In what little I've managed to try the feature, I've also experienced some instances where she:
-Replies before I'm done speaking; -Claims to have already replied to things I'm asking about for the first time; -If you talk a lot, she seems to only register the last part of your sentence and doesn't acknowledge the rest. -Asks about things you literally just told her about; (e.g. "I have a cat named Gato". "cool, what is its name?") -It only happened once, but at one point it seemed to bug my microphone, and attempting to do a verbal lesson just resulted in the app acting as if I said nothing. -Gives extremely generic replies when you talk about something complex, like the plot of a show. (e.g. "wow, interesting. Interesting things are nice, you know?")
All in all, it's a fun and interesting feature, and I hope they expand on the idea, but these issues make it kind of unusable as it is right now. It's obnoxious to favor this conversation over a lesson and then missing out on the exp. Anyone had a similar experience and knows a way to minimize these occurrences?

I spilled coffee over my previous keyboard so replaced it over the weekend with the USB-C version thinking only the port had changed. I noticed after wanting to control key multiple times the keyboard has now 4 keys next to the spacebar. There is now an emoji button. I also noticed they changed the previous emoji key to a contextual key.
So I wanted to see what other changes they made but most articles just mention it's unchanged besides the USB-C port.
What else changed? Did they make the keyboard coffee resistant already?

I wanted to withdraw on moonshot my 20 USDC back to my credit card, so I selected the withdrawal option and chose credit card. I noticed that the estimated amount to be received was around ~€11.66, which makes me wonder—did they charge such a high service fee?
Another concern is that I haven’t received the funds on my credit card yet. Instead, I received an email from them stating:
"Five hours ago, you initiated a transaction to sell us 20 USDC (SOL). This is a gentle reminder to send your crypto to the wallet address specified below if you wish to complete the transaction. Once we’ve received your USDC (SOL), we’ll convert it into EUR and send it to your bank account. Already sent it? Then you’re all set for now — we’ll keep you posted via email."I don't understand why they're asking me to send the crypto if I chose to withdraw it to my credit card and the amount has already been deducted from my Moonshot balance. Is this email just an automatic message sent to everyone, or do I actually need to take further action?

I’m not talking about a difference of interpretation, which is just subjective, I’m talking about what your teacher teaches you.
Specifically, I’m experiencing some friction with my teacher at the moment because she is very reluctant, if not almost refusing to teach me etudes. I’m not asking to play the Chopin etudes way before I’m ready for them, I mean literally just etudes by Heller to work through my badly lacking technical skills. She is somewhat opposed to this, and believes in learning technique through “real” pieces. She also thinks my technique is way better than it actually is just because I can play a Chopin waltz or two, when in reality I struggle with the most seemingly basic things like octaves, scales, trills, and arpeggios.
Even though I have brought this up with her, I’m struggling to get it across that I really want to study these etudes with her, as they have massively improved my technique when I did some of them with my previous teacher. Frankly, as rude as it may sound, I’m paying her to help me, and I feel like I’m not getting through to her. Have you ever been in a situation like this, and how did you approach it?
