I began a new management job last week and am worried it was a mistake. The person I report to seems toxic (not to me… yet) but not sure if I should stick it out for a year or start looking. The job would give me a lot of subject matter expertise but I’m not sure it gives me the right amount of autonomy or creativity
- Switches expectations (three times in one week)
- Ageist (ex., writes off people as too young)
- Racist (ex., doesnt allow people with accents on team to present)
- Perfectionist (remembers a minor mistake someone made two years ago)
- Demanding (no one is ‘allowed’ to take vacations in May or June)
- Spotty / can’t remember things
- Has meetings daily to review his calendar
- Has meetings weekly to review work products live, instead of reviewing them outside meetings

CXS can only enter a photo once. Why doesn't he take photos while he's inside one to have more chances?
In Worst case scenario he would have to search for the photo in the present if he used someone else's camera. But if he uses a phone, especially his own, that shouldn't be a problem.
