It doesn't make sense to me. Either a bullet hits you, or it doesn't. Did he mean up close? Then why not say just that.
Any bullet that hits you will be traveling straight. That's what bullets do.

(26M) I'm starting to wonder if all of this self-improvement was worth it. I continue to practice learning languages daily and photography every now and then. I'm starting to consider going to the gym now and have made it into a habit to socialize in a healthy manner, or at least tried to.
I really want to be a better person, I even imagine myself doing good things for my loved ones, but I feel like I have reached my absolute limit. Between brain rot, constant overheating, bad sleep schedules, needing heavy drinking to have functional social skills, not really feeling like socializing most of the time, being constantly expected to initiate conversations, women not liking me that much it feels like these two years have not convinced me I should treat self-improvement as this mystical thing that is actually the journey through life itself.
There's no incentive for me to continue like this if I don't get rewarded. And I'm gonna ask myself: was it all worth it?

Jag har bestämt mig att jag är trött på att ha ont. Ryggen värker, ena armbågen värker, axlarna svullnar på nätterna och knäna är slutkörda. Är bara 36 men har jobbat i 21 år utan att tänka mig för.
Jag har börjat promenera och göra lätta övningar på kvällarna och ska boka tid hos ortoped. Min fråga är om det är värt att investera i stöd att ha på dagarna och isåfall vilka?
Värken i knäna tror jag beror på dåliga arbetsskor och att jag jobbat mycket på knäna utan skydd. Armbågen efter en fraktur och senare bursektomi. Axlarna är slitage.

Seeing the new outfits and they seem pretty underwhelming imo. I was expecting more of Chinese culture because of CNY but it's basically only 4* or paid dresses. Both of the 5* outfits feel like a copy of old ones (the black gown looks just like the swam dress, and the other dress a mix of the current banner with the pink anniversary outfit we got in launch, exact same ribbons. Though I really love the ponytails).
Seem like they're going a lot more for a carnival vibe than CNY, which is okay I guess, both are happening around the same time, but especially for a chinese company I was expecting a lot more, maybe the opposite (Chinese themed 5* dresses, carnival themed 4*)
