I've had a reputation as an evil DM among my friends that whenever we do a campaign, I'm literally called the BBEG Master instead of DM. I was able to come up with the saddest forms of loss and betrayal that left them heartbroken.
During our sessions, we actually had 2 DMs, as weird as that is. In the lore, I was the darkness in the world, while the other DM, she was the light and positivity in the world, and the two of us are constantly at war, trying to pull the strings of fate towards us.
Now, in the past few sessions we've been playing this campaign dubbed "The Death of Light", in which my fellow DM was killed and reincarnated as a human. And with me in possession of the world, lots of death, destruction, and sadness is in the world.
I'm looking for a plot twist or trap so treacherous it'll leave everyone traumatized, that will also end with the sacrifice of a Player's PC. Any ideas?

I wanted to GM lancer but i wanted to test the waters with my players, if they like the system. But i don't want to buy it YET. Is the free rulebook on itch enough to play? Is it much different from the release one?

Hi, day 6 player here and I'm loving the game so far. Currently I'm working on Canto 5 and I'm starting to care more about team comps. My current main team is a mix of Sinking and Poise:
Full-Stop Hong Lu Full-Stop Heathcliff Lobotomy Yi Sang Wuthering Heights Faust Butler Ishmael
I was obviously very lucky with my Walp pulls as a f2p, so I've been debating going all in on a Poise or a Sinking team, instead of my mixed one. But as a newbie I'm not sure what my ID collection supports best, so I'd appreciate some insight. I have the following:

Context, a friend of mine that I met recently is telling me that he recently became a royal marine reservist. They've shown me a picture of their green beret and shown me a lapel, encased in a see-through plastic circular thing, which has on one side written "Royal Marines Commando" with the royal marines corps flag. On the other side, it says, "Once a marine, always a marine." with the commando dagger through the middle. He said it's important to him and that he was given it after passing training. He also stated there may or may not be a deployment in the summer.
I suppose I am looking to confirm the authenticity of what they're telling me. They conveniently forgot the name of the rifle they trained with, which struck me as incredibly odd? I'm only a civilian, but other soldiers I've spoken to are able to identify this with ease. I asked if it was the SA80 and they said yes, which was the spark of why I'm here now, really. I've been unable to find an exact replica of this lapel online. There are versions of it online, but none that I've found with what I have described on BOTH sides. It feels heavy and looks authentic, but I also can't see anyone online saying that they were given this upon completing their training. The closest I have found is this one online, though again it doesn't have the dagger on the back of it. Although that one looks very close to what I was shown.
Someone help me identify whether or not this is a case of stolen valour? Any questions I should ask?

I remember seeing in a debug menu that the skill cap in this game is 20. But after improving, for example, my mechanic skill up to 10, it becomes white in character's menu ('@'). How do I improve such 10-capped skills more?
And will the combat skills continue to improve beyond 10 if I fight with the appropriate type of weapon that I have a skill of 10?

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie in these types of phones, i want some advice from yall. Im have been using Samsung m51 for 4 years (Since release) and i want a new phone. My phone is still doing fine but the software and security updates are expired (2 and 3 years) leading to some inconvenient bugs. I prefer M6P cause the price are cheaper and its using Snap 8 gen 3 which doesn't overheat. However, M7P has 5 years software and security updates instead of 3 from M6P. M7P AI is also a big factor making me confused cause MP6 AI is reviewed to be useless (Except the camera) while M7P AI is quite good at everything. And M7P starts with Magic 9.0 too (M6P is 8.0) Should I buy MP6 for 3 years and change or should i use M7P for 5 years? The price gap is 160-180 dollars.
