Hi all,
The title pretty much says it. My husband's desktop computer will not connect to our new Google Fiber network. It's running Windows 11, made up of newer components from the last 5-6 years at the oldest, a lot are newer than that. In the past, he's connected with a Wifi adapter and the Google folks suggested we make sure it's at least a Wifi 6 adapter. We did that, and still the error message simply says "cannot connect to network".
Every other device, including my eight year old laptop running Windows 10, is connecting to the network with no problem. I've seen a few other threads here with similar messaging but very little info on how people actually solved that problem. This is his gaming PC and he often works from it, so it's not really workable for it to simply not connect. Does everyone else with this issue just get a second Nest Pro and connect by ethernet?
