Please give me your opinion on this issue: For some god forsaken reason I have yet again been cursed.
All jokes aside, for some reason my main monitor (of 3) randomly started to show those lines today. First it was WAY worse (couldn’t see anything but weird lines when I moved my mouse), but after a restart of both computer and monitor it settled on this.
I first thought I fried my GPU (RTX 3070), but both of my other monitors are completely unaffected by it. Then I thought, well, might be the cable, but I used one of the other 2 monitors‘ ones and the lines were still there - so my guess is that the monitor is done for.
I restarted the graphics drivers, plugged everything in, is there ANYTHING else I can do (except sending this pos LG sold me) to minimize the chance of user error?

I have a student currently in 11th grade (I'm a high school teacher) who wants to be a teacher and wants to go to UConn. Can any education majors answer a few questions and give some general advice.

  1. Can you get automatically accepted into the school of education as a freshman?
  2. I heard that the GPA need to get into the school of education is very high? Is this true? If so, would it be advisable to take a lighter load until the student gets accepted into the school of education?
  3. This student is trying to decide between being a technology teacher or a science teacher. I don't think UConn offers Tech Ed. Is this correct?
  4. Any other advice for a future education major?

I am creating a process within the service desk. However, I have the feeling that the users are spammed by notifications during the approval process. Does anyone know if it is possible to disable these automatic comments from the system? I currently have the notifications for comments turned off to avoid this, but this is not the best solution as comments are then not sent by real users.

Hi,
i have a very strange Problem. The Bishop gave me the Quest to bring him 20 clay bowls. I unlocked the Technology to dig Clay.
But i have yet to find a clay deposit. I followed a lot of Youtube Videos mentioning that there should be a Clay Deposit just south of the Church/Graveyard.
But the Clay Deposit people are showing in their Videos is not existing for me. I don't have a hole in the Ground like the videos are showing. Im standing in this exact position.
I don't know if this is a bug something. I just can't see it. The technology is unlocked and the Bishop doesn't have any more things to talk with me.

Very sorry if this is in the wrong group, was unsure where else i could ask. I'm baaically very keen to work for octopus, but am ubsure what role my skillset would be best suited to. I have a 1st class Bsc physics degree, and was wondering if anyone here works for octopus and would be wilking to have a wee chat about how best to apply and what role might be most suitable for me.
I have searched online, and octopus seem to say the first stage of their hiring process is an informal chat on the phone to determine suitability. However, this entails applying for a role first and I would prefer not to risk applying for a role i end up not suited for and risk future opportunities.

I’m a read ahead kind of person, but I’ve got myself fully turned around with the safeguard. I read other book comment, but can’t seem to track those down. Then I read the show comments - ultimately had to stop reading because some of them were good while too many of the others were EXTRA. Drove me nuts.
So I thought the safeguard was the poison in the pipes ? But now I’m wondering if it’s the nanobots just outside the silo’s opening.
The AI voice is actually a real human, correct? I know cryo hasn’t been brought up yet, so wanted to get that figured out.

This is my first Valentine's Day single in six years, and originally I was going to be hanging out with a friend, but she may have to be chaperoning her daughter and boyfriend instead.
I've never had a good VDay in a relationship, so I want to actually do something nice and memorable for myself for once, as I'm tired of this holiday leaving a bitter taste in my mouth from my previous experiences.
I planned on going to my favorite shopping plaza for an hour or two (definitely getting myself a stuffed animal), taking some of my favorite dessert to go from a restaurant there if they'll let me, and maybe watching a movie and having a spa day at home! I'm not sure if there's anything else I'd like to do or not, but I was curious what others would be doing for themselves on this day.

Hello to all of you guys, gals, and workemurder machines all around and welcome to Schrott’s Scrap Shop part 2(TM).
So this is my first drawing and post of the year it took 20 days but here I am. It’s been a long time since I posted anything, but that was mostly again dew to a combination of curveballs that life throws at us that being work, school, and of course artist block. But I’m back again and wanting to do something for the murder drone communities by doing free commissions to draw your OCs/characters! So with this said on to rules!
  1. This is a personal thing no NSFW art! I can draw your characters in revealing clothing if you want them to be in that, but I will not draw explicit NSFW art as I’m not comfortable with drawing that sort of medium, nothing against it, again I’m just not confident or comfortable drawing in that area.
  2. I’m doing this for free out of my spare time so it might take some time for your character to be fully done. So please be patient as again life could always throw more curveballs my way, which would take more time to get around to your drawing.
  3. I can redraw your characters if you want them to wear different clothing, have them with a different weapon or want them in a pacific pose or with another drone OC (two to three characters at max depending on their clothing, and how complicated other stuff will be) but you have to tell me what you want and send me a pictures for reference.
  4. Because this is free keep your expectations not to high it’s not gonna look like the Mona Lisa but I will try my best to make them look the way that you want them to look. To the best of my abilities.
  5. Both me and you are allowed to post the redesign when it’s done. This is primarily in case someone tries to pass off the rede sign that I did of their character as their own work, as well as work to help me keep a digital note who’s characters I’ve already done and who’s I need to work on.
  6. For disassembly drones I won’t be drawing their wings as they are way to complicated for me, and I am just one man using pencil, paper, inks, and of course, symmetry is my enemy.
New rules:
  1. This one again is a personal one for me no ship art with already existing characters from the show, this is primarily just a personal one for me as I don’t feel comfortable with drawing the original characters from the show. Once again, I have nothing wrong with those who do draw ship art I just am not comfortable or confident enough in my own way of drawing them.
  2. Your OC has to be already made as I need some thing to work with. You don’t have to be too self-conscious about how your OC looks but it has to be something that I can take inspiration from in order to draw it. Also, this adds to no AI art of your character.
  3. Additions to the drawings. This one is optional additions to the drawing are primarily adding things like their serial designation of their name or even maybe some background items. This is all just optional flair for your character but if you want me to do this, please tell me how you want me to draw it.
  4. Finally, the deadline for submitting OC is January the 25th after that I will not be taking any OC requests.
That’s everything that comes to mind at the moment. So again just message me if your interested or comment your character below. With that all being said can’t wait to see what we can make.
Also thank you to my past clients for letting me use there OC and the redesign that we used as examples.
