Reflection:
"When I see someone post a picture of themselves looking a certain way then taking another picture of themselves looking a certain way I think about how I can compare them.
And when I compare them I think about how I am looking for details of what the meaning behind their two pictures is.
So I might leave a comment requesting to see what the difference in the pictures means to them which means when they posted these two pictures were they signaling that the change in the pictures meant something to them?
So perhaps they might say that in the first picture they were not meeting their emotional needs and in the second picture they were, I would say that is great, what is your process that you engaged with that allowed you to uncover what your emotional needs were so that I can compare it to mine to see if there is something I can learn from your process that I can integrate into my own?
Then if the person says
"bro, its just two pictures of my progress of healthy living and weight loss bro just chill"
I might consider replying
"Are you saying that you are putting up a boundary to not discuss the meaning in the pictures or discuss how you navigated your emotional needs in order to achieve this progress in healthy living and weight loss?"
then the person might reply

2025.01.20 14:40 Robert_TT [F30 328i N20] Cold Weather Issue: Severe RPM Drop to ~500 or Stalling During First Cold Start of the Day
Hi,
I've been experiencing a peculiar issue for about a month now. It only occurs during cold starts, and only when its cold outside, specifically the first start of the day. The car starts normally, with RPMs rising to around 1100-1200. However, after a few seconds, they drop to about 500 or lower. Most of the time, the RPMs quickly rebound to 1100-1200 before settling at 700. Occasionally, though, the car stalls completely.
What could be causing this?
Here's what I've done so far:
- Changed the battery (it was 13 years old) and coded it with ISTA.
- Adapted the VANOS solenoid with ISTA.
- Before these issues began and as the weather got colder, I had the timing chain, spark plugs, oil, and all filters (oil, air, etc.) replaced.
- Cleaned the throttle body (I know this may have little to do with it)
- Tried different fuels from 95 to 100 octane (I live in Europe)
- Changed coolant sensor.
Any ideas?

I (M22) was on a date with a girl (F20). At some point we started talking about our past and she mentions that she has had one serious boyfriend and a casual one night fling. So 2 people. I immediately lost interest. I want any girlfriend to be a prospective wife in the future. Because of this I'd want my girlfriend to be a virgin. No exceptions. She started to argue about how it wasn't practical and all that. But it's just my preference. I don't slut shame or call out people who have slept with multiple people but I don't have to be comfortable with it personally. I later texted her saying it wasnt going to work out and she unmatched me. Why can't a man prefer the kind of traits in a wife that he wants?

I have recently sold a rental property and have some GIC’s vesting soon, I will soon have roughly 200k in cash.
Me and my wife have 215k left on our mortgage with a renewal due in a few months.
We have about 190k on contribution room on our TFSA
We want to buy a bigger house but keep our monthly payments the same.
Should we put the money down on a bigger house or should we invest the money into dividend paying stocks and use the money to pay towards the mortgage?
If investing is your recommendation what are some recommendations for investments that pay dividends. Medium to medium/low appetite for risk at the moment.

I see a lot of people recommend VDIM for better improvements, but tbh I'm just trying to casually train and not lose interest right away (has happened before). I find the VDIM playlists pretty long and tiring and tbh I don't even have that much time in a week to constantly train like everyday. Is the fundamental playlists still okay to use? I probably only train 3 times a week for like 45mins - 1hr.

2025.01.20 14:40 WinterHornet8401 Soundbar displays atmos multi channel pcm
My soundbar is displaying atmos multi channel pcm, despite the media being Atmos and my Samsung TV being set to passthrough. Is the issue with the soundbar, or the Samsung TV earc? I've read that the conversion to multi channel pcm strips the atmos metadata, therefore taking away the surround effects. If I turn off earc the signal is displayed as Dolby Atmos DD+, but this renders the point of earc useless. Even if I plug in a source directly to the soundbar input, it still has this issue. TV is a Samsung Qled and soundbar is a JBL Multibeam 5.0.
