Chem: I got D in term 1, C in term 2. I’m revising a lot atm and am aiming for 95% + in my March mock, we have no other assessments after March, but we have an assessment in term 6 which I believe will just be like an end of topic one but I hope to get 95%+ Bio: defo A* predicted. Maths: I got C in term 1, E in term 2. I’m revising a lot aswell and am aiming for 95% + in March mock, after that we also have no assessments until end of topic term 6 one but I hope to get 95%+, I’m thinking of doing maths AS too, in order to boost my predicted grade. I emailed my head of sixthform about how predict grades are decided, he replied “ All teachers will be using a holistic view of progress, so it is not all based on one mock exam.
Each subject will have their own system of which assessments they use to establish their predicted grades.
However, saying that, I would imagine the mock will feature quite high in terms of which assessments they use. “
If I manage to achieve my desired grades, will my predicteds for maths and chem be A*?? Btw I wanna do med,AND I KNOW it’s a big jump, but I’m positive I can do it- hence been revising like crazy. Pls just answer the question. Thank you

I’m just so so tired of being in this relationship. We’ve been together for about 15 years, and I ignored red flags the whole time, because they were tolerable. And we had some good times. But the last few years has really showed me how he shows up when things get hard. I won’t get totally into it but he betrayed me.. and I found out about it.. but I have been holding this knowledge in since April because confronting him about it will just make life that much more miserable for me. He turns everything on me and only hears the thoughts going on in his own head anyway. It’s pointless. So I’ve been pretending for months. He’s lucky I’m forgiving and super understanding. I’m not even mad. But I just couldn’t keep up the act. He could see I wasn’t into it anymore. We broke up for good a month and a bit ago. He usually stays out for days on end without saying anything, which at first annoyed me, but soon realized we are all happier here for it. When he decides to come home for a few days to shower and play video games.. the level of sudden depression/rage/guilt is absolutely overwhelming. I am desperate to get out. The issue is… I have been a stay at home mom for a while. I havnt worked in many years. On top of that, we are really really focused on making sure our little guy (7yo) is getting the best chance at education as possible.. and he’s finally doing so well in school the last couple months (instead of breakdowns and not learning because he was stressed). If I am not the one to pick him up from school, he loses it. He is extremely attached to me since I’m the one who does everything with him and for him. Other than school he is always with me. His dad never watched him so I could go do something fun. So yeah, finding a job in Ontario is extremely hard as it is as a white person (no offence please, it’s just the truth), and then add the fact that I havnt worked (I was encouraged to be a stay at home mom by partner, but I think now it was to financially trap me), and I have to pick up my kid at 3:15 every day. Plus my mental health dealing with all this PLUS my older son dealing with depression and focusing on getting him the help he needs too as well as my youngest son with ASD… how the heck am I supposed to get out of this?? I just want to be happy. For my kids above all. Has anyone ever broke free on child support and social assistance alone? I’m an artist so I can make SOME money there, but with the price of apartments.. it’s like what’s the point?? Sorry for my rant.
TLDR: I want to leave a toxic relationship but I’m financially stuck. Has anyone else successfully left?
