Finally found a nice groove dishing out ekko support got to 76lp IRON 4 50%WR 28 games could be better but oh well. I just lost 2 easy winnable games(26LP now) from people disconnecting, people with bad ping, bad drag times, bad teamfights. Everything is just so bad. I am lucky enough to even be able to manipulate the minion wave long enough to stall the games out while my team takes bad teamfights.
I just want to reflect and say this because I'm about to do this. If you feel hardstuck in your low elo. Put the fries in the bag, your main is the meta now. You wanna play adc pick jinx or mf or tristana, bro no one bans tristana for how broken she is in low elo. Even when I was in gold no one was banning tristana.
Wanna play mid, idk who's broken this season i fell like mid is all skill everyone is broken in mid you're simply the better player but pick the broken characters or git gud idk pick your poison.
Top just play tahm kench honestly, oh he's banned ok pick mundo or better yet aatrox any health sponge will do fine.
I don't play jg in low elo because tbh I don't trust soloq lanes, I a competent enough player need to guarantee a lane is won. Jg feels more sweatier than top and I use to main riven the sweat god.
I say this because you're not bad at the game you just didn't know leagues game. But now you know the game's game. Meta. I swear I played one game with jinx and I felt like I was playing against bots. idc if my supports bad gun go brrrrrrr. I can't cap support was good that game. I was even trolling tho letting random rockets out, didn't even know if it would hit i just put the cursor on the minimap and let it fly and won the game. Something about the meta just makes everyone want to play the game. I'm probably challenger if I pick meta easily. Nah I'm just kidding but you get my point.

What course should I opt for the Meta Back-End Developer Professional Certificate or the IBM Back-End Development Professional Certificate,? Both of these courses are available on Coursera. They are similar length of about 130 hours that is supposed to be completed in 3-6 months and include a capstone project each. I am also open to suggestions of other courses.
I have done the basics of CS like data structures, languages like C, Java and Python along with concepts of web dev like MERN and other basics like HTML, etc. I got into CS being interested in ML and am pretty good at Data wrangling, EDA, model implementation and evaluation. My aim is to learn backend to finally be able to make functioning projects that I can deploy and try to incorporate ML if necessary.
I understand that I do not possess much experience, this I am open to course suggestions as well as any thoughts regarding my aim and chronology of learning.
Although I love learning new things, obviously the final goal is to be able to earn from my skills, thus please feel free to comments any thoughts, advice, concern.
I will be glad to hear any criticism as well.

I am waiting my device to be delivered and have read the update today with the changes in BOOK reading. And got my question in mind - now I have separate Kindle and use app to read the book on it, and sometime on phone, for e.g. during the short flight.
Could you please say - is it convenient to use KINDLE on AI PAPER? Is there any advantages to use native app to read? Can I do the same annotations in EPUB via Kindle, or only native app?

2025.01.20 16:44 Ok_Educator6992 Bodyguard 2.0 holster comparison Phlster skeleton (Black) vs Muddy River Tactical AIWB (Red color)
Hey all, I thought I would put this holster experience out there for who is in the market for one. Both are nice holsters. The skeleton is definitely nicer build quality and has better positive click when holstering compared to the muddy river. The muddy River definitely has play if you try to move the gun in it when it is holstered back-and-forth. The muddy River though is nice that the mag release button is fully covered compared to a partial bump out on the skeleton.
Both holsters I got with DCC clips the skeleton only having a single clip whereas the muddy River has a DCC mono block and the muddy river does not have a claw as opposed to the filter does. The filter definitely conceals better than the muddy river, but it has a claw and I feel if the muddy river one it would be equal. When drawing on the philster, though my finger does not contact the claw to where I notice and I've seen some videos showing they had issues with the claw on the muddy river. The DCC clip on the skeleton is ride Hide adjustable, but if you make it so that the grip is higher in the holster of the DCC clip bottom will kind of protrude past where the holster is and when you're moving your legs, it can stab you.
One thing that is definitely noticeable The skeleton is about 3/4 of an inch longer than the muddy rivers, and is much less tippy due to that this issue can definitely be solved with a wedge though for the muddy river.
Also the skeletons sight channel (suppressor height) is really high compared to the muddy river and probably could have been reduced to save on size.
I also like the way the trigger guard is on the Skeleton compared to muddy river. Both are fully covered I just like more comprehensive covering of the Phlster.
Most likely will keep the Phlster but also have a JM custom Kydex coming To compare as well. I don't think you can go wrong with either just my 2 cents

2025.01.20 16:44 Kihunyt Moving from an all-in-one system to a proper system for music listening and I'm lost. What do I need?
Hi! I know that I'm not the first person to make a post like this so I apologize in advance, but I've been digging through the subreddit for a couple of hours and I'm just as lost as I was when I started. I live in a small-ish apartment (~700 sqft) and so I'm not even sure what works for this size of a space. I don't even know what I really need. I'm not much of an audiophile - my mom got me a Victrola Navigator for Christmas (I don't wanna hear it) and the sound is great for what I need, but it's poorly made and my CDs started skipping. I've seen so much vitriol about all-in-one systems, so I'm trying to figure out how to expand beyond that if they really suck so terribly.
I have a budget of ideally less than $500 for everything. I primarily have CDs, but I do have a couple of vinyls. I'm not worried about a TT right now, though the ability to play both vinyls and CDs in the future is something to consider (and tbh, why I was so excited about an all-in-one).
I've seen a lot of people mention the NEUMI BS5P-ARC 75-Watt Powered Bookshelf Speakers. I'm all over the place regarding genres. Are these still fine?
In terms of a CD player, I have Playstation consoles but was also saw a refurbished Sony CDP-c245 in a local record store for $75 that I was considering. I saw some comments about multi-disk changers having problems, but I would really like something that can change without me manually switching out the CDs every time.
I do prefer a vintage/retro look. Other than that, what else do I need?
