hey so my dermotologist perscribed 1 gram of acyclovir (two tablets a day) when isaw him i was already a week in to my cold sore. so i took it for 2 days and stopped because i was already a week deep into it,i'll save it if sense another one in the future. i started feeling a sensation near my healing lip and took 1 pill a day for like 3 days "to be safe". but one thing ive noticed is that ive been having to pee alot, not i drink alot of water but now its like 3 minutes after drinking water i cant hold my pee and have to go the bathroom immediately . i think the pill is causing this. has anyone experienced this with acyclovir ?and does it go back to normal once i stop taking this pill (i already stopped)

I’m an experienced dev just below Staff level and I notice nearly every interaction I have with Staff+ engineers, the communication is very difficult and they act like I have two heads or something. I don’t think it’s me, because I regularly talk to my manager, my managers manager, and my director who are quite senior. We have productive conversations on career and technical problems. Same with my team and adjacent teams.
But I dread having to interact with Staff+ engineers. I’ve worked with several Principals at my company and they generally don’t explain anything, call you out before you finish completing your thoughts, just plain ignore/gaslight/discount what you said (even if it’s correct), and use a lot of technical jargon that they don’t explain. I like to think it was bad luck at my company, but so far this has been the case for most interactions with many different such engineers.
Lastly the tone I get is that every time I interact with them, I get the feeling I’m annoying them. Even my director of engineering does not give off this vibe and that is a very busy position.
What is the technique/communication strategy or approach to work with these very talented engineers, without me feeling like an idiot ?
