 | Descended from the summit at 3pm hoping the snow would soften but it was still super icy. Felt like my knees were being rattled the whole way down. The amazing views of Kulshan (Mt. Baker), Tahoma (Mt. Rainier), Klickitat (Mt. Adam's), Wy'east (Mt. Hood) was amazing as was seeing the sunset lighting on Loowit. Just be mindful of the cornice near the rim, stay behind the flags and watch out for holes and cracks in the snow on the rim traverse to the true summit. submitted by 1egnd to Backcountry [link] [comments] |

 | I've had this "a woman knows" feeling about a woman my live-in boyfriend works with. Caved and checked his phone... Yes, I know. Wish I would've just trusted, but honestly, I cannot go through another BS relationship where I'm second best and had no clue. She texted a few months ago to make sure he was aware she's newly single, and just one after another these cutesy texts from her. I've never seen anything that shows him responding in a full on flirty way, but he's certainly not telling her to back off.... Along with he purposely deleted all the bits above that show the flirtation from her, and I found them in his recently deleted file and recalled them on his new iPhone. Hello everyone, I 18F and my mother 40F are currently on bad terms after an argument we had yesterday and I’m not speaking to her.
Just to give some quick background from ages 10-15 I was constantly bullied in school for a range of things from my appearance to handwriting. This has left me with extremely low self esteem/confidence and I have never told anyone about how it has affected me.
There are other factors that contributed to my mental health. I was a victim of SA from ages 12-14 on and off by the same man which I have also never told anyone. And just many other factors.
Although I have no diagnosis I’m almost certain I do have anxiety/social anxiety, plus I work in medical health area so I would know the signs of mental health problems. Anyways I was coming home from a shift today with a fellow co-worker and as she was dropping me off I opened up a bit about how I was feeling about work and my thoughts and she asked if I have anxiety and depression. I said no since I wasn’t diagnosed.
She then said I most likely do have it and I should see a counsellor. In my work place there is a free counsellor that is provided and she offered to send me her email to which I was happy about.
However once I got home I spoke to my mum about it hesitantly and she immediately got angry and asked “why the hell I would need a therapist”. I’m not good at saying how I feel to my mum I never have been as she never sees my side of things so it was hard telling her about the counsellor at all.
She says that “kids now days just self diagnose and make up mental health problems”. She also kept pressuring me to telll her what I said to my co-worker but I refused as I didn’t want to. She then got mad at me and told me to go ahead and do what I want.
By that time I was already upset as I don’t like arguments at all and I thought she would at least be supportive but she made me feel like crap. I told her I wouldn’t go at all and then she kept giving me sarcastic comments so I just stopped talking and left to my own room
I cried for a little bit but not a lot cos I didn’t want her to realise I was crying. Anyways ever since I haven’t really talked to her and just avoid her room or pretend I’m asleep. She’s put me down a lot through the years in terms of seeking out any form of mental health services.
She’s been talking non-stop to my family on loud speaker about how I’m being an attention seeker and that I’m lying about things. It has made me not want therapy anymore and I just have such a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. So should I try speaking to her again? Should I just seek therapy after I’m done with my university course? That was always gonna be the plan but it seems like my mental state is getting worse.
Sorry for the long post. Thanks to anyone who reads, even if you don’t this was nice to write down.

Never have I loved a show so much that in reality is a pretty stupid show. So many things are stupid, Talismans not a lot explained for something so important. Not sure how anyone lived in the town without them really
Man chained to wall Ballerina music box The fact the town wants to kill them but also gives them food water and electricity Ankhooey isn’t a language Why were the messages in the bottle so encrypted? I feel like metal bars like a jail cell would keep the creatures So many things just seem thrown in. There is no way we get a good ending for it all. I love the show though.
