I understand orders at peak being priority, but it's below zero and will remain for days and the insensitive is what $20 for eight deliveries? Even trash instacart pushed 4/$68. This is just proof of ruining this gig.

Any advice on the cheek patches? I’ve just let it grow and grow for 2 month and it’s growing pretty slow and the cheeks aren’t filling in properly, looks super scruffy. I’m 29 years old now so I feel as though if I could grow a full beard it would be in by now so I feel a bit disheartened by it too.

2025.01.20 18:51 No-Essay-8488 PSA: ERC Firms Demanding IRS Interest Payments Are Preying on Businesses—Here’s Why They’re Wrong

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my experience with an ERC filing firm that is now attempting to collect interest payments issued by the IRS due to processing delays. After consulting with my lawyer, it’s clear that their demand is completely baseless, wouldn’t hold up in court, and is part of a predatory strategy relying on businesses not knowing their rights.
If you’re dealing with a similar situation, this post may help you stand your ground and avoid paying money you don’t owe.
Background
I hired a third-party firm to help file my Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC). Per our agreement, they’re entitled to 16% of the gross ERTC refund amounts. While they successfully filed the refunds, they are now demanding a portion of IRS-issued interest payments, claiming that they are also entitled to 16% of these funds.
For clarity, interest payments from the IRS are issued separately and are not part of the ERTC refund. The IRS issues interest to compensate taxpayers for delays in processing refunds, and these funds belong exclusively to the taxpayer—not third-party service providers.
After consulting with my lawyer, it’s clear that: 1. This demand wouldn’t hold up in court. • The language of the contract explicitly limits their fee to 16% of the gross ERTC refund amounts. Interest payments are separate from the refund, issued for a different purpose, and are not part of the “gross refund” under any legal or contractual interpretation. • Courts generally take the language of a contract at face value, and in this case, there’s no provision allowing them to claim interest. Their attempt to extend the definition of “gross refund” to include interest is an overreach and would likely be dismissed outright. 2. I have grounds to countersue. • If they were to escalate this to court—which my lawyer believes is unlikely—I would have strong grounds for a countersuit for breach of contract and unjust enrichment. • By attempting to collect funds outside the scope of the agreement, they are violating the contract’s terms. Additionally, their threats to send me to collections over these baseless claims could expose them to liability for unfair debt collection practices. 3. They know they’re not entitled to this. • My lawyer’s take is that they’re fully aware they have no legal claim to the interest payments. They’re simply relying on the fact that many businesses don’t fully understand their rights or the IRS’s rules and will pay the invoice to avoid conflict. • This is a calculated tactic: they likely assume that few people will push back, and they can collect extra money from those who don’t know better.
IRS Interest Is Not Part of the Refund
It’s important to understand that IRS interest payments are issued separately from refunds and serve a different purpose. • Interest compensates taxpayers, not third parties. The IRS issues interest when refunds are delayed to offset the financial impact on the taxpayer. These funds are designed to help businesses like mine recover from the economic harm caused by the delay. • Gross ERTC refund refers only to the tax credit amount. The term “gross refund” in my contract clearly refers to the ERTC amount approved for the eligible periods, and there’s no legal or industry standard that includes IRS interest payments under this definition. • They have no legal standing to claim interest. Their demand is entirely outside the scope of the contract and the purpose of the ERTC program.
Why This Is Unjust Enrichment
My lawyer explained that this situation falls squarely under the legal concept of unjust enrichment. In simple terms, unjust enrichment occurs when one party (the ERC firm) seeks to gain a financial benefit (the IRS interest) to which they are not entitled, at the expense of another party (me and my business).
In this case: • The IRS issued the interest payments to me, the taxpayer, because I was harmed by the delays—not the ERC firm. • The ERC firm was already compensated through the agreed-upon 16% of the refund. • Their attempt to collect a portion of the interest is an unjustified windfall that violates the intent of both the IRS interest payments and our contract.
Why They Won’t Sue
According to my lawyer, the firm is unlikely to escalate this to court for a few key reasons: • They know their claim is weak. The contract language doesn’t support their demand, and they know it. Bringing this to court would only highlight their overreach and likely result in a ruling against them. • Their tactic relies on fear. This is a classic scare tactic: they’re banking on businesses not understanding their rights and paying the invoice to avoid collections or legal action. Most businesses don’t have the time or resources to fight back, which is what these firms count on. • Litigation would backfire. If they were to sue, they would likely lose and face potential countersuits for breach of contract and unjust enrichment, not to mention reputational damage.
Collections Threats Are Predatory
What’s especially predatory is their use of collections threats to coerce payment. They’ve threatened to send me to collections and potentially harm my business credit over funds they are not entitled to. My lawyer explained that: • This could violate debt collection laws. Threatening collections for a baseless claim may constitute unfair debt collection practices, exposing the firm to legal and regulatory action. • I am prepared to fight back. If they escalate, I will countersue for breach of contract and report their actions to regulatory authorities, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and state attorney general offices.
My Lawyer’s Final Advice
Here’s what my lawyer advised me to communicate to the firm: 1. I have already paid the agreed-upon 16% of the gross refund amounts for the checks I’ve received, and they have cashed these payments. 2. I fully intend to honor the agreement and pay the same percentage for future checks. 3. Their demand for interest payments is legally and contractually baseless. 4. If they escalate this matter, I will take immediate legal action to protect my business.
Final Thoughts
If you’re dealing with an ERC firm—or considering hiring one—know your rights. IRS interest belongs to the taxpayer, not third-party service providers. Review your contract carefully, and don’t let anyone intimidate you into paying more than what you owe.

2025.01.20 18:51 Cool_beans4921 How do I not let things get to me?

I’m starting a course next week for 6 weeks. My mum (72) has just asked me, “What about cleaning?!” I clean for her once a week. It’s like she feels put out that I possibly couldn’t do it anymore.
I’m so annoyed that she is being selfish. The first thing she thinks about is how the course affects her, not how good it will be for me. You could write a whole book about her issues and I’d love to talk it all through with somebody one day. But in the meantime, how do I not let this get to me? I don’t want to be angry and for it to ruin my day.

2025.01.20 18:51 stevelikestrees Serious question about this drama

Isn’t the Bambulab system a closed system anyway? I don’t understand the complaints with having to use their slicer compared to Orca.
Can’t you still use Orca and slice it to an SD card to get around this problem?
For ref, I am coming from Creality printers and Orca myself so changing slicers isn’t a massive issue. I held off on Bambu because it was a closed system that getting spare parts for wasn’t as easy as buying on Amazon. Since moving to an A1 it’s night and day and the “issues” Bambi created with this latest update still don’t out way the annoyance of Ender and K1’s.

2025.01.20 18:51 tomo_rolex Whirlpool Duet Steam dryer rotating issue

Hi all and thanks in advance!
I have a Whirlpool duet Steam dryer that I purchased about 4 months ago used, it’s worked fine up until now and isn’t rotating a full spin.
Regardless if the size of laundry load as soon as you turn it on, it will do about 3/4 of a turn and then it will get caught and unless you give it a “hand” it won’t overturn by itself.
Looked in google and simple search says it’s the belt, I removed the back panel and attached two photos - one showing its tension, or I guess “lack of slack” and the other photo is of the belt itself, definitely looks worn but is this what’s preventing the dryer from rotating normally?
I also have a video of the dryer tumbling a few days before it went out completely if you need me to DM it.
Thanks again!!

2025.01.20 18:51 Wrong-Line-1668 XTB Cont USD sau EUR pentru achizitii VWCE.DE

Salut!

Mersi anticipat! 😊

2025.01.20 18:51 euthanizetherednecks Where can I buy hoses that connect to EVAP Canister/Charcoal Canister?

2003 3.5L Nissan Pathfinder LE. Hard to get gas into it without it shutting off the pump and have a service engine light (Code P0456) on every 300 or so miles (on and off). I want to just replace the hoses and clean and/or replace EVAP can.
Where can I purchase the ‘hoses’? I do not know how to search for them and don’t even know what the technical name would be for search results.
Also, what else do you guys recommend I do to fix the issue, solenoids, etc?
Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Köszönöm a tippeket.

2025.01.20 18:51 kerapang No performance hit with DLDSR 2.25x in Indiana Jones

I game with a 4080S on a 1440p and have most games set at DLSS Quality without DLSS FG. I recently started playing with the DSR settings, using 2.25x. and playing with settings in different games to try out the new resolution and performance.
Indiana Jones was the only game that automatically changed its resolution to 2160p in the game menu when I selected the 2.25x DSR Factor. There was no drop in performance and the game looked great. I tried messing with the settings and changed the in-game resolution to 1440p and back to 2160p and there's now a significant drop in performance now when 2160p is selected.
I have absolutely no idea what changed since changing the resolution in-game. Any chance that it was never really at 2160p with the same performance, despite it showing it in the game menu?
