I know this question is probably discussed a lot on here, specially bc "nobody can find jobs anymore" and stuff but even after looking everywhere I feel like I couldn't find the answer to my specific question.
I looked up good majors to study in 2024/5, mainly bc i was kinda confused between eng, cs and finance. people say that's a good choice. Unfortunately, I'm not brave enough to just follow what my heart wants, specially bc i'll be spending a lot of money on education and also i just want a good future. Don't get me wrong tho, I'm not delusional enough to choose cs only for the money. I know how difficult it is and I am kind of interested in cs and i LOVE maths and do code sometimes(and i dont mean just html and css lmfao) so I'm not just forcing myself to choose this subject or anything.
From what I've gathered ppl in eng are literally miserable and ask you not to take it, cs majors say absolutely avoid this major now bc you can never get jobs apparently, ppl say finance is useless unless youre in a really really good uni. Interesting how ppl outside the cs community are STILL suggesting cs while this sub is in shambles over finding jobs. :(
Ideally, I'd do a Mathematics/Data Science major (useless apparently..), or maybe a Marketing major because that sounds super fun but I need to lock in for my future lol. Sometimes I feel like I should do Econ, the starting pay isnt much but it wouldn't stress me out like cs I guess lol.
My question is, what really is a good major to study now? Besides the healthcare field(cant do healthcare bc i didnt have biochem in hs so no uni will take me obvi), and engineering too because i probably cant do that, what major is really safe? Should I just risk it with cs? Are cs jobs only difficult to get when you're aiming for top companies or are they just impossible in general? Should I go for finance? Maybe study cs and move to finance later? OR should I stop aiming for a good pay and just settle for average jobs?

I think it's also worth mentioning that I'm looking to study abroad and preferably move abroad in the future(jobs). Not necessarily USA only but maybe aus uk europe..or maybe even singapore! Obviously finding jobs abroad is difficult and an oversaturated major is even more risky. Not sure what to do lol

Is it just me or are all the themes in the theme store just very boring. On my Redmi Note 10 pro, during MiUi 13, themes looked good and feature rich, it got bad in MiUi 14, but some themes were still okay. Now in HyperOS, most of the themes are just flat. All of them virtually have the same icons, just different wallpapers.

Well I was in a relationship (met through hinge in July 2023) since Sept 2023 then broke up around June 2024. Didnt work out because i told him to give me proper attention as he wasn't talking and if I say anything he would say why I am complaining about everything? Basically for bare minimum I had to ask always. Then with constant nagging, we broke up but feelings were there but he around July 2024 he went and fuck a girl (let's name her Sasha for now) then I confronted indirectly as asking him about this Sasha as he is following her, first told me that she is friend's friend but I didn't buy that deep down but said ok to him and my gut feeling was also correct because in reality they met on bumble and hooked up and I got to know about her by Unlocking his phone for the first time with deep breath in the hope that God proves me wrong thinking like this about him and then I saw the texts about how Sasha enjoyed her sweet time with him. But I guess didn't work then he came back talking to me, then we just continued talking but it was obvious that feelings were there for each other. There I felt that he keeping me as a placeholder for him. Then he said he love me on my bday which is in November 2024 but before he was leaving for another state for job in December 2024 we stayed together for a night at his place and i snooped around his phone again after he slept and after that incident and saw that 3 days before my bday, he texted his previous ex before me (let's call her Pam) for "makeout session" but Pam is with someone else so she declined and the convo ended there. But now, in Jan 2025, I saw that they are following each other. I confronted about this that why are you following your ex? What you guys are talking! Then we fought about how I am overthinking everything. What is the big deal following her? It wasn't that long also just short term nanoship they say and I wish I could tell him about all his secrets but couldn't because I don't wanna loose him and I love him so much but I don't deserve that treatment too. Idk what to do. Deep down I wanna leave him. But my attachment won't let me. What I'm supposed to do?
