I naturally tend to be fairly high-strung in social settings- perpetually uncomfortable- oscillating between discussing intently subjects that interest me and lapsing into painful silence when itās hard to connect with people. In large groups I tend to isolate or just float around, doing much better one-on-one. Over the years, Iāve found it much easier to just ābe presentā and not feel the need to come up with idle banter when iām not feeling it. Itās easier to sit in silence when I have nothing to say, which Iāve noticed often makes other people uncomfortable in my presence. But now itās also easier to bring up random subjects to talk about when I feel their unease. And I genuinely enjoy the conversation Overall much more pleasant to be around others even though many time I wish they would shut the fuck up (mild sarcastic humor there). I still suffer from the anxiety- and thatās ok with me because itās how Iām wired- but itās easier to tuck in the background.

Hi everyone, I'd like a sanity check please on whether I've understood IRS Pub 54 correctly regarding invoking both exclusions.
Following the instructions in Ch. 4, my housing exclusion for a given year would be $8300. Therefore my FEIE would be my earned income minus $8300.
This means that I'd only pay taxes once my earned income exceeds the sum of (that year's FEIE + $8300 + standard deductible) correct?
(I do not pay local income tax so FTC doesn't apply.)

I'm writing this quick. I'm bi and this'll probably be misunderstood. To start, I called out an individual statement & my comment immediately got deleted (and i didn't say anything after on this next subject in a separate post). There's a collection of biphobic commentary in this fandom and very few are bringing it up. This isn't about ship wars; there's a double standard in this subreddit and annoying repeat commentary; you think you're being silenced, but you're doing the very thing you're advocating against by silencing a whole community for the argument of en masse = all or majority. It's not a thing you can just ignore (you feel drained and tired of the same narrative as a bi person), the same way those homophobic comments cannot be ignored in the way that everybody has to hear about it and be silently grouped in with the a-holes. Biphobia is more silent and it's something a lot of people just deal with because of misunderstandings when trying to explain yourself or accusations of being homophobic/not being fully realized with a toxic hetero-leaning mindset that they need to undo in bisexual identity and internalized homophobia. Please no "I understand but..."; I probably won't be responding to and reiterating in comments. In terms of the show, why is Kitty being bi invalidated because she hasn't dated a girl? It's really sad so many people don't understand what biphobia is just because it's more subtle and not in your face (it actually is, but people choose to feign innocence and revert back to the argument of homophobia against the same-sex relationship, and it happens in communities for all media).

Hello! I have been dancing for a few years now, but I've never committed to a dance style in particular. I've done heels, twerk, contemporary, commercial, K-pop, reggaeton, and some hip-hop, but I've recently been taking some ballet classes since I struggle a lot with core strength and balance. I go to a contemporary and a ballet class a week, and then I go to the gym twice to improve my overall strength.
Recently, I took a commercial class for the first time in a while and noticed that I now find it harder to bounce. I blame the ballet/contemporary classes I've taken for the last few months. That's when I realized I probably needed to focus on either classical or urban styles. I'm interested in so many styles, and I would like to be somewhat versatile, but I fear that some styles might just be incompatible.
I enjoy urban styles, I'm interested in heels, waacking, and commercial dancing. I want to improve my balance and core strength without sacrificing flow or bounce. Is this possible? Should I quit ballet and train balance/core/control differently? I enjoy contemporary and ballet, but I think I'm just trying to do too many different things and I won't get truly good at anything.
I need some advice or experience regarding choosing a path to get good at, styles that could be incompatible, and training core and balance. Hope this makes sense,
