Earlier this year I ordered Tales of the West by The Pub's own @Jamfke from Lulu Featuring an adaption of the FASERIP system, and featuring some beautiful classic illustrations from the early 20th century, it's a slim volume that packs a lot of punch, including a populated town to use as a setting described in characterful NPC profiles and ready to use floorplans. Alternate seems more appropriate than "funny names". Yes some are kind of pretentious, or even lame, but some are very "in character" for their game. So, I've recently been struck with an idea for a campaign setting of sorts. I have written down a few bullet-point notes on paper and I do want to share them with you guys. It involves a mix of Western and Fantasy tropes, with an idealistic and romanticist approach and I do want to go Old-School... I have backed the 'They Came From!' series (B-Grade Flicks genre), and I have several versions of Classic WoD, so I'm not sure I need or will use Storypath Ultra. I still kinda want it for my collection. Kinda. I've sort of moved on from Storyteller and Storypath these days. The promo artwork... "but I played Traveller, BootHill, John Carter of Mars (a wargame with roleplay rules tacked on), RuneQuest, and Empire of the Petal Throne. Then I became the GM of Choice. I ran The Fantasy Trip, Bushido, Top Secret (add supernatural), Fringeworthy, Bureau 13, Champions (been playing since the con it was first released at), and a lot of Champions. There are several RPGs I'd love to run, but the question is – how? What method of scheduling do you all use? I've never juggled multiple games before and over extended periods. Do you play several sessions on one game and follow a story arc, then begin another game? I foresee weeks, months and... Here Western Rpg - Drivethrurpg Looks like it's two books with a combined page count of 652 pages. Precious little is known about the game, though, not even the system used, is advertised. Does anyone know anything about it? Other than it looks like a toolbox where you can dial up/down the... just a boothill ramble because i love boothill i just scroll through social media pages and see forums/discussions where he's mentioned from time to time, and i'm pleasantly surprised that the comments i've seen about him are all very positive or vouches for his strength as a DPS. there's the usual firefly/rappa comparisons here and there, but nothing outright negative
the longer the game goes, the more i see people acknowledging how strong he actually is. he performs so well even in AOE scenarios as long as the player knows how to play him. ;-;
there's so many interesting things about him, from lore to the little hints about what he's like past the tough galaxy ranger persona. i can't wait for an IPC-centric plot to start at some point because i just know he'll find his way into the storyline one way or another. i crave for more screentime /lh
i love my cowboy so much. my shaylaaa. the very reason i started playing this game :sob:

Seriously so nice. I went around the holidays, got access via Amex Plat and was stunned by how large and pleasant it was. I’ve been to the Sky Clubs at ATL and they absolutely do not compare.
They had a great food selection and it was very clean and quiet. They had gingerbread houses decorated and even a cookie decorating station with cookies, frosting and sprinkles. And some free merch/goodies by the service desk.
The employee checking me in was so pleasant and even complimented my glasses. Genuine kudos to the Delta employees who staff this lounge.

So the current light Im using in my aquarium is the Aquael Leddy Day and Night 14w, and its been fantastic whilst I had it but it broke recently and Im trying to find a replacement but I have been searching for weeks for one with a UK plug (like the original one that came with the tank has). I cannot find it anywhere I look or at any retailers (as lots havent even bothered replying to emails for days for some reason) and some of the plants in the tank are starting to suffer so Im getting a bit desperate at this point. Does anyone know where I can find one with a UK plug rather than an American plug and if not would anyone be able to advise me on how to safely adapt the American 2 plug to work in the UK without any risk of damaging the light or harming anything in my tank etc? Thanks in advance :)

What are the best options for shipping a very fragile and expensive item (~1500$) from Canada to USA?
I feel like I can do a better job of packaging than paying UPS to do it, but I wonder if that makes an insurance claim more difficult? I've heard that if I bring it into UPS, pay for the insurance and to have them pack it, that makes any claim straightforward and pretty foolproof is that right? Or is it a hassle either way and better off packaging the item myself?

I’m a well-controlled T1 LADA diabetic (A1C 6.1). Had RNY surgery 2015. Labile hypertensive. I have great difficulty with malabsorption.
For the last couple of years, I have been struggling with significant dehydration despite drinking 70-90 oz of water per day.
Dry eyes Severe Dry mouth Constipation Stomach ulcers despite taking pantoprazole Frequent Urination (clear) Nerve twitches when very dehydrated Occasional palpitations Exercise makes me feel like I have very low BP and very dry mouth Vaginal dryness It feels like my insides are dried out - even gets difficult to drink water at times
I just had two bags of IV fluids (saline) a couple of days ago and I still feel very dehydrated.
I take insulin, labetalol 100mg 1x/day, pantoprazole (40mg 1x/day). Daily bariatric vitamins Iron infusions 2x a year Calcium citrate chews 1000mg
I have been to multiple specialists and everyone shrugs their shoulders. Hematologist, cardiologist, endocrinologist, GP and no one can figure it out. I just get ‘well, your labs are mostly normal…. ((Shrug))’. Is there another specialist that I can see that would help me? Am I lacking a vitamin/mineral that will not allow the fluids to enter the cells?

So basically I (17f) have been dating this guy (17m) for about a month but we have been talking for around 3 months now. He's really great however recently a few issues have come up. One of the things is he is too obsessed with my boobs. I know this sounds weird but he will take every and any possibility to touch them. At one point I wanted to do his hair and he said I had to flash him if I wanted to, I accidentally elbowed him or something and he said I had to flash him 3 times now. We will be making out and he just randomly looks under my shirt. Recently, we were making our and lifted my shirt, I put my shirt back down but he kept putting it back up no matter how many times I would pull it back down or he would move my hands if I was covering myself. At some point he took my arms to the side and held them down so he could look at my chest. I know if I really told him to stop he would but I was visibly uncomfortable and he shouldn't have done that. This just made me really uncomfortable. I should've definitely set more clear boundaries however it was pretty obvious in my behavior that I was uncomfortable. He says things like why can't I look at them and he says that as long as I don't have a reason why he should be able to, he acts like he's entitled to it, which he's most definitely not. And then because I kept pulling my shirt back down he was like " I'll just take it off" and I said something along the lines of " you can't do that I won't let you" and he replied with "well technically I could". He also shoves his tongue down my throat which really isn't great.
Anyways I was kind of planning on breaking up with him but after that night I definitely will. I just want to make sure that these things aren't normal or if they could possibly be early warning signs.
