My car search has been all over the place and now is obsessed with the idea of a Golf R. I am curious which yeamileage people more familiar with the car would consider the best value right now.
The 2024 being last year in manual and being able to buy new and know I am the only owner sounds great but also not sure if I want to be spending 50k on a car right now. I have also seen some 2022-24s with 5-30k miles that are priced around $38-42k. Then there are some around 2019 that can get down to 30k with relatively low mileage under 50k miles.
All of these prices are rough estimates but curious what year and mileage you all would see as the best current value.

Lets say that due to its huge strategic value Robb chose to left a stronger garrison to defend the ruins in case things didnt go well in the South and needed to retreat back home to continue fighting against the Lannisters. In this case, how would a successful defense of Moat Cailin against the Ironborn have changed the outcome of the war?
I guess Theon may have not been incentivized enough to launch his mission to take Winterfell and the Ironborn wouldnt have taken as much territory as they did in the original timeline.
Would Robb still have retreated back to the North if news about the Ironborn attacks reached his ears? It was the supposeed death of Bran and Rickon what triggered the events that lead to his tragic demise.
Would Walder Frey and Roose Bolton still have tried to kill Robb before he returned to the North even if he fulfilled his part of the deal with Walder Frey ?

Okay so this happened last year, when I was in 8th grade (I'm a freshman now) and I still think about this till this day. Basically in our middle school, there wasn't any dress code (which is low key weird itself) but the 7th and 8th graders basically wear WHATEVER they want sometimes even showing up to school in short shorts that flash people, and practical bras to school. Anyways, I wore this hoodie many times before I got dresscoded, it was a non revealing playboy hoodie with the playboy bunny logo and letters saying "playboy" but there wasn't any innapropriate quotes/images on it. I got dresscoded for it even though no one in our school gets dresscoded for flashing people when they should, and additional info that isn't really thay important is that the vice principal (guy who dresscoded me) is known for being racist and the school is in a predominantly white area, and he never dresscoded other girls for wearing worse things. And remember, I wore this hoodie like many many times before the last day of school when I got dresscoded. Did I deserve to get dresscoded?

2025.01.20 22:31 Positive-Drop-2852 Supports are too strong.

I have a Neptune 3 Pro. My fiancé gave it to me for Christmas and the prints have been fun. The supports were easy to break away. I damaged my last few prints trying to get the supports off. Any small parts that hang off are going to come off with the supports. Is there something in the settings I can change to make the supports easier to remove? Or am I doomed to feel like I’m going into an operating room with every print?

IK that sometimes the battery calibrates etc., etc. so it hs the tendency to go up to 100% even when the 80% charging limit is on but I am surprised that this time it was only at 81%.

Also, when these drivers crash in the snowstorms and the trucks get towed, where do the drivers go lol? Call a friend and say “come pick me up on the Coq in this raging storm, I’ll just wait out here”?? Can Jamie’s crew drive them someplace? I know the few times I’ve had to get a tow, they said they don’t allow passengers, it’s policy. Always wondered what the big rig drivers do when they lose their trucks! ❄️

I'm in the process of restoring my 1974 AMC Ambassador Brougham, which has been a family treasure for decades. Unfortunately, the car has significant rust issues-holes in the roof and a badly rusted passenger floor. To bring it back to its former glory, I'm looking for a 1972-1974 AMC Ambassador sedan donor car (preferably in green, though I'l consider other colors). The ideal car would have a solid shell, as I mainly need the roof and some floor panels to cut and weld onto my car. If it's a green car and I can find a similar green headlinearmrests that would also be something of interest but the engine and transmission are not important to me. If anyone has leads on a donor car, knows of someone parting out an Ambassador, or has any advice on where to look (junkyards, AMC forums, etc.), l'd greatly appreciate your help.
