2025.01.21 00:43 transyvr How bad is this outer wall crumbling off?
 | During some rain and wind storms over the last few months, the outer wall of the apartment building I live in has started coming off. It seems to peel off in the wind, but also has a 'melted' and gloopy texture when it rains. It's about 4 feet long now, and today I noticed multiple cracks on the layer underneath. My bed is on the inside of this wall, and the other day while cleaning under it, I noticed some small water drops on the floor inside. I live in a very damp/humid city, where humid homes and mold are common. I am wondering if this is normal (the walls don't seem to be insulated) or if water might actually be getting inside. How bad is this damage?? The landlord can be pretty lax about fixing things here, so I want to know how hard I need to push. I use TVD as an example a lot but I think it’s because it also has a sibling love triangle.
Did you guys want Connie and Jeremiah to mend their relationship the way Damon/Stefan did outside of Elena? And have real brotherly moments?
Or just think it’ll end the way the books did with them being distant?

I have the YRA-314B III and the YRS-24B, if I wanna play them both together will it tune well? Or should I get the YRS-314BII? I just wanna say that I am going to play them both and then put together in my PC. I think that the YRS-24B might not tune well with the YRA-314BIII because they're different "famylies" of recorders.

2025.01.21 00:43 ThomasTiltTrain Finally can cross season 1 off my TV bucket list. Also watching Mcconahey play Rust just shows you don't have to be a method actor to play someone so far different than you in real life.
It feels like its just an excuse for people to be assholes on set. I knew nothing about this show besides how good it was, and was suprised to see him in such an anti god/religion and just a fuck the world and living type role knowing how religious he is. But yeah adding this to The Wire, Sopranos, Better Call Saul as my top tier reccomendations for must watch tv. Just bought Twin Peaks as well, RIP David Lynch. If you couldnt tell we just finished Alan Wake 2 which made us finally go out and buy both of these series lol

2025.01.21 00:43 Beneficial-Can-4330 2004 Mazda 3s BCM
Hi, I have an '04 Mazda 3s with some electric troubles. The driver window struggles going up and down or sometimes just doesn't move at all. The door lock can lock the doors but not unlock them. I sometimes have to snack the passenger BCM or fuse box to get the cluster backlight and rear running lights to turn on. The AC last doesn't work. Sometimes if I push in the AC housing the light will turn off, but the AC won't turn on. I hear clicks coming from the passenger fuse box when I press on the windows buttons or some of the other ones. The reading lamps also do not turn on. Are these symptoms of a bad BCM? Also, not sure if it's related but I was driving while back and pressed my horn. The car horn kept shorting the battery when I'd press it and my car would not turn on. Since then, I've disconnected the horn. Any help is very much appreciated.

hi! Again, trying my luck some more as I'd do anything for someone I'm mutually attracted to and actually wants to chat enough to last for more than a day. As much as I've noticed a lot of people are seeking something online only, I am too affectionate, too hands on, to want to keep things to a computer screen. I do that enough at work, so I'd love someone that wants that balance with their love life. In any case!
I know this is a little long, so bear with me in advance! I'm just trying to leave it out there so I can get all the difficult stuff out the way, and hopefully the transparency is appreciated :)
I'm writing this out because as someone whose hacking away at my SWE job in tech, I'm again realizing that working without someone to be excited for at the end of my shift isn't as enjoyable, so I'd love to find someone to call my own!
To start, here's me to put it out there because I know attraction matters for this (with a few links of me doing dumb stuff) to let you decide what you think about me before reading on.

Simply put, I've spent the last couple years single (while hacking away at my career and succeeding in my switch) and I'm at that point where I want to, well, not be single.
I'm:
- Nerdy (like literally, listen to me talk about chess and world of warcraft in a way you'll just nod your head and smile or ask to play)
- Someone who loves sports (I'm happy to hit the gym with someone or talk about the topic in general all day.
- someone who has traveled a lot (20 states) and lived in 2, and I'm never against a new place to visit, even if it means hanging out with you sometime early on!
- Doing well (now, heh) irl after having a little bit of a rough covid, so I feel like I'm in a great place in life mentally and ready to give someone my all in terms of affection and energy!
- VERY aware of what I want long term (monogamous relationship with a family long term with 1 person who would love to have biological children that is open to relocation so well, I can put the extra space I have to use here in this cool city!)
- Someone with a different background in terms of cultural and physical preferences (I enjoy a contrast as a hispanic guy, so I have genuine preferences to someone white, asian, chinese, korean, european)! Nothing against anyone else, but I am a very visual person and contrast (both physically and culturally) is important to me as I'd love to learn as much as I can about someone I'm also attracted to.
- someone who isn't afraid to try things. Look, I've browsed a lot lately and I understand people don't want to be sexual right away (and neither do I, I promise), but I need a relationship with intimacy eventually (after being in relationships devoid of it), an openness to discuss what we like and I told myself I was not going to do another relationship where it was one sided. If nonsexual space all the time is your thing, totally cool, just not for me! I believe in a reasonable balance :)
- Ideally someone local, but I'm convinced everyone local to NYC that browses reddit is actually mean and shallow as hell after my experiences on here, so I'd love to find someone who'd be down to visit here and see if relocating is something you're down with eventually when we get there far enough to talk about it! (:
While I've written in the past about me, and I am happy if you take a moment to read anything I've written previously to learn more about me, if you make it this far, I feel confident that we'd get along great. If you're as tired as I am not finding someone and you want to fix it as much as I do and we want the same things (including in attraction), reach out! I just ask that you:
- Tell me a tiny bit about yourself (i'm sure I'll get plenty of 2 word responses in which case i'll do the robo check of potatoes on you
- A photo of yourself (something you'd put on a dating app to not decieve, as unfortunate as I am to have to say this, heh) that shows more than your face (sfw is completely fine, but I'm hiding nothing in my appearance and with something of this magnitude (relationship searching), I'd like a chance to decide on attraction too with a full picture instead of just a face due to picture angling heh).
- Anything that stood out so we can chat about it and I'd be happy to lead from there!!
