I live in southern Louisiana and it’s supposed to get extremely cold and even possibly snow tomorrow. Our infrastructure isn’t exactly the best at handling extreme cold like this so I’m really worried about losing power. I went out and bought some of those hand warmers (I managed to score the last few they had) and plan on wrapping his tank up with a blanket/towel. Is there anything else I should know/do to try and keep him warm in case we lose power?

An investigation into the source of the drugs ensued and officers executed a search warrant Thursday at a residence in the Roche Crt.-Fowler Rd. area. Officers found a man allegedly in possession of a loaded illegal firearm and a large quantity of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, Percocet tablets and cannabis. My friends tyranids constantly kick my ass, I'm thinking his army is built meta and I use what I think is cool. In the last 6 months I've won twice and lost a bunch. He shoots me to pieces as I try to move up the board and when we get into melee his units are swinging for 2's & 3's while I have to swing for 5's & 6's so even in melee I'm getting dominated, so he's got the shooting, he's got the numbers and he's smacking my peepee in melee I'd love some suggestions

i work with a family where both siblings are my clients. the 6 year old is lower functioning and has a new behavior of biting while the 3 year old is higher functioning.
today in session the 6 year old ran up and bit me as she was dysregulated and the mom fully saw what happened. i did not react and simply remained calm with a straight face. the mom on the other hand tells me after a little while that i shouldn’t be as happy and playful with the kid after she bites. is she right? i dont feel comfortable confiding in the bcba on the team as i feel judged whenever i ask for support and are not very open.

I completed the background check information well within the 3 calendar days, but for some reason I missed the actual acceptance link and completed it an hour before the full three days (invite sent on Jan 17, 7:43AM, completed around 6:30AM today on the 20th). I didn't receive any confirmation and from what I've read on this sub, next steps may be anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months.
I'm sorry if this is a repeat post, I read the Wiki and couldn't find anything exact on this. Anyone clued in on the process from here on out?

Nagintern sa design firm na sikat din, alam niyo na siguro yun yung initials niya ang name ng company lol. Tapos yung sahod 13k, take home naiuuwi ko ay around 9k kasi may company dorm pa na 2k. Okay lang naman siguro kasi intern.
Nung time na pwede na magboards, di ako aware pero nakapagsubmit ako bago magpandemic. Nalaman ko nalang nung may nagchat na same kami ng room. 3 days before. Tas ako naman tong vv nagtake, bumagsak ako ng 1%
Nagwork nalang ako ulit. Pinalad naman at nakapasok sa dalawang malalaking construction companies pero mababa din ang sahod, from Cad Op to field architect to PIC. Nung pandemic nasa isang construction company ako na parang naging assistant ng area manager, matanda na kasi yun.. di na sanay sa paperworks. Taga analyze ng reports, manage ng company owned formworks, construction cycle, logistics, tas nasa Innovation dept pa so kasama rin niya ko sa mga pagresearch at pag implement ng bagong materials and equipment plus meetings with subcons. Syempre may cost analysis din yun from conventional to more innovative approach sasama pa yung productivity analysis. Pati strict implementation ng methods and procedures at safety measures. Etc.
Ansaya, kasi dahil output based siya kaya dami kong natutunan. All fun until nalaman ko yung sahod niya 🥹 tumanda na siya dun Inatake pa sa puso. Bukod sa wala manlang akong credit ay grabe din yung politika, inuumaga na ko sa office tapos wala lang pala yun kapag di ako marunong sumipsip.
Ngayon nasa product management ako parang graphic design. 2-3 hours a day na work at better yung sahod. Pero parang may kulang parin.. Worth it ba
