I consider myself emotionally intelligent and have a decent time looking at personal experiences pretty objectively… I don’t feel like I have a lot of wounds or issues with my old man these days as I get why he is the way he is. But, part of me is terrified of being a “bad dad,” based on my lack of personal experience. Idk that therapy is right for me, but idk that it’s not. What say you, maybe just some guidance in the way of books to read? Or do I need to talk to someone.

Hello,
I purchased a 2011 ford fusion hybrid and I did the battery age reset and the regenerative breaks started acting up . I went to the dealer and they did the software update but the regenerative breaks still not working and the car been running on gas. Also, the battery voltage is really high .. anyone know the issue or had these problems?

How do the rest of you go about asking for time alone from your partner Particularly when you don't live together, thus every moment together feels more temporary, if that makes sense. Which means I feel worse if I need low stimulation on a certain day (meaning minimal social interactions, including with them.)
I do have an incredibly kind partner who knows that I alternate between introverted and extroverted. They know a lot about autism and why it's not personal. At the same time, it still gives me anxiety when I feel I really need alone time even though we're hanging out.
They've told me many times that I shouldn't feel bad about this. Which is great. The problem here is me, and I know that. I have huge issues with rejection and have to fight my instincts to push myself aside and let the other person be in control and take all my attention. that's my habit and i'm working on it. sometimes it seems like my partner loves, respects, and shows compassion to me way better than I do myself.
How do you phrase it kindly? Especially when you don't live with your partner. As much as they say they understand, my partner also struggles with rejection sometimes, and I don't want to hurt them.

I stopped sertraline plus aripriprazole about 1.5months ago. I cry much more frequently and my obsessive tendencies feel out of control.
I stopped them because my mother wouldn't stop nagging me to get off them, telling me that they're damaging me, even threatening to "get involved" if I don't stop. I told her how miserable I am, off them and she says that the antidepressants did this to me, that this is withdrawal because I'm dependent, brainwashed, and my life has been empty even while on them, and I just need to get over it because I don't really have depression.

My MIL is living with my husband and I temporarily and I swear this woman is TRYING to be homeless at this point. I feel like she goes out of her way to be a nuisance and she throws a temper tantrum every time someone asks her to clean up after herself.
She walked in the kitchen yesterday and dropped a bag of trash off and then left for the evening. Didn’t say a word. Didn’t bother saying, “hey do you mind taking this out with the other bags of trash?” Nothing. When my husband brought it up she, again, threw a temper tantrum and pulled the “I’m your mother” card.
She thinks that choosing to give birth to someone means that that child now owes her infinite respect and that child (nor his wife lol) can’t hold her accountable for anything. This is just one incident. The list goes on.
I’m tired yall. And please don’t hit me with the bogus and fruitless comments that I must be okay with her being there since I haven’t kicked her out… like that wouldn’t create huge marital issues for me. I don’t even need advice. Just venting.

Sio, I got a much overdue update and now Lane Keeper comes on when I activate cruise control. Which is fine! However, shortly after that, Big Red (that is my truck’s name) starts warning me to put my hands on the wheel — through my hands ARE on the wheel. Sometimes 8 and 4, sometimes 10 and 2, doesn’t matter, I get the warning and then the red warning, unless I wave my hands around near 12 ion the wheel. Anybody have a fix? Or, failing that, a way to turn off the minder? Or, failing that, a way to turn off Lane Keeper while using Cruise? Thanks. Signed, Frustrated.
