Clutching her flashlight and camera, she approached the rusted front doors, which hung ajar. The wind howled through the shattered windows, creating a low, mournful whistle. Inside, the air was heavy with the scent of mildew and decay. Broken furniture, scattered papers, and graffiti covered the once-sterile walls. She took a deep breath, her footsteps echoing loudly in the silent corridor.
Sarah's plan was simple: explore, document, and leave before midnight. She wandered through the hallways, snapping pictures of the peeling paint and overturned gurneys. Every creak of the floorboards beneath her feet sent a jolt of adrenaline through her veins. Still, she pressed on, determined to uncover any signs of the supernatural.
As she entered what appeared to be an old operating room, Sarah froze. The air felt colder here, almost suffocating. Then, she heard it—a faint whisper. It was indistinct at first, like the rustle of leaves, but it grew louder. The voice was neither male nor female, yet it carried a sense of urgency. "Help... me..." it pleaded. Sarah's heart pounded as she swung her flashlight around, but there was no one in sight.
"Hello?" she called out, her voice trembling. "Is someone there?"
The whisper came again, closer this time. "Help... me..."
Panic set in, but her curiosity outweighed her fear. She followed the voice down the hallway, her footsteps quickening. The sound led her to the east wing—the site of the infamous fire. The damage was evident: walls blackened with soot, charred beams sagging under the weight of neglect. As she stepped into what remained of a patient room, she saw it.
A figure stood by the window, its back to her. It was translucent, shimmering faintly in the moonlight. The figure turned slowly, revealing a face twisted with anguish. It was a young woman, her hospital gown scorched and tattered. Her hollow eyes locked onto Sarah's.
"Please," the ghost whispered, extending a hand. "I can't leave."
Sarah stumbled backward, her breath hitching. "What do you mean? What do you want?"
The ghost's expression softened, tears streaming down her ethereal cheeks. "My baby... I never found my baby..."

Though she never solved the mystery of the lost mother, Sarah became a firm believer in the restless spirits that lingered in forgotten places. And every time she passed the old hospital, she couldn’t shake the feeling that the ghost was still watching, waiting for someone to help her find peace.
The new head mod has moved himself up the list and is now secretly trying to ban people he doesn't like without the other mods noticing that he's taken over the sub. When confronted in modmail he's lying and saying the admins removed the post even though it says removed by the mods
