hey albany, i’m looking for a second job to help support my income. At the moment, i am a full time bank teller, but i’d like to work another job for a few hours in the evening after i’m done there. I have 3 years of restaurant managing experience as well as a 3-ish years of fast food service work experience. I know i’m gonna get a lot of recommendations to do food delivery service but i tried it and it’s not for me. if anyone in the restaurant industry is aware of any openings, please let me know. I really don’t know the best way to describe the experience, but every night when I close my eyes to sleep, it feels like I can see almost hallucinations, it varies from spinning to a shrinking or growing sensation. Then I could be flying or imagining things that seem very real and that I can see, my whole body feels warped and distorted and I feel like I’m losing touch with the real world and falling into something else. the only way I can relate it to something else is watching a trippy video while really high, it seems that music makes this feeling more potent, and I can stay like this for hours without falling asleep, I used to be afraid of the feeling but I’ve come to love the experience every night.
Not a complaint just wondering if anyone else gets it and what it could be!

I just got a position as an assistant at an orthodontics office and I'm very excited but also very nervous! I don't have any experience in orthodontics or dentistry so I've been trying to watch as much as I can to try and learn at least a few things before I start. The orthodontist was very nice and had no problems with me not having experience, but he did say to expect things to be fast paced since they want me working day one. I've been studying tooth numbers and instrument names, is there anything else good to learn right now? I want to be as useful as I can be! Also any other tips, tricks or advice would be helpful!

But what do I do with the liquid after its water washed and put into a dish?
From what ive read I put it somewhere to let the liquid evaporate? How does that form the powder? Like I said, stupid question, feel free to throw tomatoes at me but I really need this last step.

I remember my old Jewish school teachers teaching us about the Jewish Halocaust in Europe, often with a quiver in their lip, sometimes even tears in their eyes. They were the children of survivors. It wasn't a lesson about something so distant. I remember my German language teacher, a former Hitler youth, telling us about how she was rounded up and put into a boxcar after the war. I don't remember all the details, but I do remember they would all say, "Never Again." We must never let this happen. It seemed a little overly dramatic at the time. It felt like a message that was uncessarily dramatic. Not so much today. The slogans and paraphernalia may be a little tacky now, the leadership may be less adept, the ideology may not be cohesive, but the writing is on the wall. Camps are being constructed. Sycophants are falling in line. The salute was repurposed and pilot tested. Never again? It's really up to you. What's the move?

Hola, buenas. Tengo un arco de violin 4/4 que tiene fisurada la vara (no está partida en dos mitades). El arco es de madera y el violin es de marca Stradella.
Comprarme un arco nuevo en mi ciudad cuesta desde $61.000 para arriba, arcos de carbonato (que supuestamente no se tuercen). Lo llevé a un luthier para que me haga un presupuesto y voy a ver cuanto me cobra por arreglarlo. Cuanto dicen ustedes que es un precio justo. Entiendo que el oficio de luthier es un trabajo muy delicado pero si me cobra mucho.... ¿no será mejor comprarme un arco nuevo?

I’ve been having painful periods since they started, when I was 14 yrs old. I was put on birth control when I was 15 because my acne was really bad. This helped but I had to stop at age 30 when my doctor found a lump on my liver. Thankfully the lump was benign, but I didn’t go back on the pill for a variety of reasons.
Unfortunately, my periods have been very painful again. The day before my period I have the following: - Pain in my back and thighs - Nausea and vomiting - Lightheadedness and weakness to the point of almost passing out, I’ve hit my head on the floor before and gotten a bruise. - Painful cramps - I can’t sleep or do anything until pain subsides (usually within 4-6 hours- but this time it was closer to 12 hours) - During my last period my calves and feet were numb and tingly for the 1st time (I try to focus on breathing properly and not crying too much because I know this could be related to panic).
For a while I was taking 2-4 times the recommended dose of naproxen because that’s the only thing that helped. My doctor put me on Tylenol 2, that helped for a bit but now seems less effective.
I’m seeing my doctor tomorrow and I am feeling nervous, I feel like he is just going to tell me to go back on birth control which I’m not interested in. I want to ask for a referral to a gynaecologist because I want to know if I just have dysmenorrhea or if this is due to something like endometriosis, PCOS, etc.
Does it matter if I get a diagnosis if there aren’t any treatments (eg. no treatments for endo)? Should I just go on birth control and not worry about it? Will endometriosis or PCOS get worse if they are not addressed? Will I just have to take more and more opioids if I’m not on birth control?
My pain and symptoms are really only for 1-2 days a month, but I am less and less able to do things on those days.
