For the past several months to a year, I've been experiencing a vibrating sensation in my lungs that only occurs on the first deep breath after a period of shallower breathing during or after laying down or reclining. After that first deep breath (during which the vibrating occurs at the very end), the vibrating does not recur until the above conditions are again met. The vibrating occurs for longer (viz., a greater portion of the end of the deep breath) if a longer time has passed without taking such a breath.
However, these results are not always consistent. I may be reclined or laying down for a fair amount of time and the next deep breath may have a little, but not a lot, of vibration. I cannot tell if there's any actual correlation, but despite the inconsistency, I think there must be.
My gut reaction was to think that my lungs were reexpanding after having, I don't know, deflated?
I have been told by one doctor that it could be extremely early emphysema (and would be undetectable on an xray). I have had another doctor say that they did not think that made sense.
I have postnasal drip and have considered that it could be mucus, though I'm not sure how exactly it would be causing this feeling in particular.
I have anxiety, but this feeling emphatically does not feel like something borne of anxiety. It feels (despite some of the variation mentioned above) like a very mechanical and repeatable process that occurs no matter what my mood or stress level.
I'm 35, male, and a smoker of maybe 14 years (but hoping to quit). I am "okay" with a smoking-related suggestion, but of course I (foolishly) hope it's not related.
What's odd is that this sensation seems to have just showed up one day and never left. I have no recollection at all of feeling anything like this before or with any graduation. It just happened one day and didn't stop happening (as far as I can tell).
One last note, I have seen several posts on various boards and subs about the same issue (as best I can tell), from people of various ages and smokers/nonsmokers (which certainly still doesn't rule out some sort of COPD), and it does not seem like anyone of them has gotten an answer as to what it might be. They seem to also report that their doctors don't seem to know and/or don't take them seriously. This is certainly possible but also hard to fully believe without knowing these people.
If there's no actual answer to be had on the internet (likely), the next best thing would be some strategies I could use to figure this out with my doctor (not the one mentioned above, as I've since moved).

I had to cut off a female friend, and I am deeply hurt about it. My feelings got involved, but I feel like she opened the door for that to happen. Back in the summer, she sent me multiple pictures of herself without me asking, and it’s not even just that. The way she communicated with me felt very “girlfriend-ish.”
The whole time, she had a boyfriend, but she always claimed, “We’re not dating or anything.” However, they would always spend time together on his days off. I never got the chance to spend time with her even before I knew I had feelings for her because she said he would always get mad when she did things. But if they weren’t dating, then??
She has really bad anxiety, and a few days ago, while I was at work, she texted me saying she needed to talk and was feeling really anxious. I called her, thinking she wanted some comfort, but instead, she told me she was anxious because a guy was coming over in a few minutes for sex. This is when I decided that our friendship or whatever it was, was over.
I was devastated when she told me that and quickly hung up on her. Why would she tell me something like that? How can someone be so tone-deaf? I really feel like she shot me in the heart. I have been using Bell since the past 5 years almost with no hiccups. Using the Bell Home Hub 4000 (10g port) with my Asus router (10g port that goes to a 10g 8-port) that has more options and control and brodcasting the wifi. But recently my internet wired connection will have issues loading web pages where it will continue try to load a page until it says no internet connection.
I still have connection to other computers on my lan network using rdp, they also cant load any webpages. I can connect to my Asus router no issues. But when I connect to my Bell Home Hub 4000 I get the blue background screen with the white routemodem and half of a circle trying to load the page with the white Bell logo at the bottom. It will keep circling and nothing will load.
Only thing that works is to unplug my bell router and wait for 30 seconds and plug it back in. But I have to do this every hour or so. I called bell tech support and they tell me to factory reset my router and they check on their end and boost my signal.
Is the router just dying? I shouldnt have any issues connecting to the routers webpage like this....
