Year 2018- medjo magnda na ang work ko at sahod ko. hanggng sa nag ka covid: si father ko ng stop mg drive ng jeepney dhil sa covid and nag ka TB din sya kya pinagphinga ko at pinagmot. monthly ako ngppdla sknya dhil wla na syang income plus gamot nya , rent sa house, foods.. etc..

After watching Arcane S1 and S2 for the first time, a week ago, I had a lot of questions. I believe many questions are left unanswered, even with all the elements provided in the series.
Then I decided to draw the timeline, and I found out that there are many ways to do so. This timeline I share with you is based on a very big assumption: that there is only one Viktor in the future. This means, there are not hundred or thousends of Viktors in their own apocalyptic timelines. It is a possibility though, every time Jayce fails, a distinct apocalyptic timeline might be created. I chose this assumption because I liked it, personally.
It could also be the case that the assumption contradicts an element told by the series. Then we would conclude that we need to include alternate universes or disconnected parallel timelines. But this seems not the case, at least for the moment and with my little knowledge of the lore, the drawing depicts a consistent ordering of the events in arcane.
I thought that by having a diagram, and using logic and self-consistency, there could be information to be infered. Well, at least somethings are clearer.
There are many time loops. Viktor, and always the same Viktor, is in a loop traveling from his doomed future to the past, to deliver Jayce the rune, and then coming back to deliver Jayce the hammer. Jayce’s hammer is in its own time loop.
Is the hammer a paradox? Who placed the first hammer? There is a paradox in time travel known as the bootstrap paradox, in which an object (or something else) has no origin. Probably the creators intended to reference it. If it is the case that the hammer has no origin, then neither do Viktor and Jayce (as a consequence of our first assumption and this paradox). And as another consequence, Viktor has been traveling back and forth infinite times. Are there infinite runes Viktor can give Jayce? I don’t know the lore of LOL, but if they are not infinite, then we do need the hundreds of Viktors in distinct timelines or parallel universes to avoid the contradiction.
But, I believe there is no restriction to assume an origin story, that there was a first Jayce that walked through the arcane with his first hammer and started the cycle. In this case, the hammer stops being a paradox and the diagram remains self-consistent.
Jayce shooting Viktor is another bootstrap paradox. The end of Piltover (the world?) is caused by this action since this motivates Viktor to complete his transformation. So, by experiencing the end of Piltover in the future, Jayce provokes this future. This is a much clearer example of the bootstrap paradox.
Why just not let Jayce die in the snow? Probably because of affection and morality. But also, because that would create another paradox, a consistency paradox in this case. Notice that Viktor doesn’t want to avoid the creation of hextech, but he wants to stop himself.
So, what do you think? Does the diagram agree with your interpretation or do you have another one?
