Hey there!
As the title suggests, I'm having trouble getting my wife on board with YNAB. I've been using it for over 2 years and it has been a game changer for me. I cannot imagine going back to using anything like Mint or a spreadsheet. We just got married a few months ago, so we are still figuring things out in our marriage. We initially agreed that I would handle the finances (and go over them with her, of course) and all I needed her to do is learn how to input transactions on YNAB. But after trying it, she now refuses to do it and insists we just use the notes app on iPhone. She's hinted that she may want to try EveryDollar, but I hate how it handles credit cards. I know that won't change since Dave Ramsey hates them. I've tried to get her to sit down with me so I can teach her, but she won't do it and claims it's just too confusing. I understand the learning curve is hard, but it is so worth it. For me with multiple credit cards, investments, etc., it is unrealistic for me to use the notes app as she is suggesting. The only way I am able to keep track of my credit cards and use them correctly is because of YNAB. Without it, I'd be so lost on what is happening with my credit.
With that being said, do you have any suggestions on how I can help her learn and understand how YNAB works and why it is beneficial for our finances? Hope that all makes sense.

2025.01.21 03:30 timepassesanyway Week 4 - Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream
 | I used King Arthur cake flour for the cupcakes. I've never made cake without using a mixer, and this recipe called for simply whisking the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined with no lumps of flour. It was pretty quick and simple. The cake is still a little more dense than I expected it to be, but it has a very delicious balanced flavor. I added sprinkles to half the batter to test a confetti version. They seemed to sink too much, so I won't add them next time. For the frosting , I made the vanilla buttercream recipe. I used the last of my vanilla extract in the batter. It's super cold right now where I live. I didn't feel like going out to get more, so I substituted the vanilla extract with almond extract and decreased the amount called for by half. I think I would much prefer vanilla, but it got the job done. I was craving chocolate, so I added about 6 tbsp cocoa and another tablespoon of milk to half of the frosting. I attempted to pipe the frosting using a set that I've had for awhile but haven't used before. It has a reusable silicone bag that was very difficult to work with, so I ended up scrapping that idea and just quickly frosted them using the back of a spoon. Overall, they are incredibly sweet. I would make both recipes again, however I won't use them together again. I’m looking for some advice on how to help my father with his clothing shop in India. The shop has been running well, with monthly sales between 25-30 lakh, but my dad is getting older and still handles everything himself. Context: My ex-partner is a beautiful person, really. He is kind, attentive, caring, loving. Very caring and loving, by the way. His problem is that he always looks for third women in the relationship and we got to a point where neither of us could stand the other's mistakes. He did it because he cheated on me, I forgave him and I keep an eye on his phone, so it bothers him (I know it's not right on my part but it's hard for me to avoid it because he's been bad before), I do it because I know what he's like and every time I look it turns out that he messed up again (not being unfaithful but he messes up again and again).
This time we broke up very seriously, he was looking after me because I fractured my foot and I found things on his phone again and he's still looking for women. I feel so sorry for him because I feel like I owe him so much after all the love he gave me during this very difficult time for me, but I feel like I can't forgive him for any more disrespect than for disrespecting him. I know that in some way we will want to meet again because we love each other, but I want to avoid it at all costs.
I need to not go back to a relationship of lies and he needs me to stop controlling him. What can I do? Also, I'm in a very sedentary time of my life where it's hard to distract myself if I can barely move around my own house. Some advice, please!

I have no idea how to find the structure of the monomers. I don't even know if the names are right. I hate this class and my notes don't help. (The first one is an example btw, I didn't do that)
(I know you're not supposed to blame the teacher, but I swear she never taught us this. We had like 2 labs where we touched different types of plastic and then she flew through the power points that she didn't even make herself.)

Old Army Radio Intercept/DF Guy here. As I was an operator and, to a lesser degree a tech, I used some of this gear in that capacity but these units are out of my element.
So…I just got a bunch of older gear here at my little town Thrift shop from an estate and I’m wondering if there’s much interest in them out there, so I thought I’d reach out to some of the more astute aficionados here for input before I figure out what to do with them. Here’s what I’ve got:

They all appear intact, if not a bit dusty around the edges. And -I’am at least smart enough to know that since I can’t be certain when these were last powered up, I have not done so, and that I don’t know for sure whether my Variac that I use for working on my old radios is sufficient to the task, I appreciate any insight I can get. Yes I have heard the speculation of frontman being old man number 001 son. But none for the reason I caught. In the marble game, old man 001 shares with Gi Hun that he finally remembered his name, Il-nam. And in season two the front man goes by young-il during the games. This I feel like solidifies the fact that old man 001 is the front man’s father. Forgive me if I am wrong or this has already been spotted.
