2025.01.21 03:32 WhiteHearted Looking for Help -Gold in first two biomes
New player, been learning the ropes. I've been struggling with status-based damage in the first two areas from fire and acid. I'm getting better and can generally avoid these and make it to the holy mountain. But the gold I need to spend in the mountain always seems to end up in pits of acid or fields of fire. I've got my trusty water flask to douse myself of either effect, but don't feel like it's worth commuting myself for a gold nugget or two in a sea of acid or fire.
How can I mitigate these factors and/or how can I improve my gold haul from the starting biomes?

They say it’s hotter in Bangkok than any other place in Thailand. Yet, Bangkok is the most interesting place in Thailand. Islands or beach towns don’t hold a candle to how fun and diverse Bangkok COULD be when it’s cool, but im going when it’s HOT.
So, I’ve considered islands and beach towns, but each residence has their compromise: - Small ass condo - Must rent a vehicle - House doesn’t have a washer unit - House too far For a budget of $1k/m for renting, it seems like there’s great upsides and then a deal breaker. And just for the record—I just need a workspace, somewhere to swim and a gym. Ultimately, I wish my 3 month stay would all be in Bangkok, but I’m scared that it will be TOO hot to do anything.
What are your thoughts?

This model is the Eclipse Dreadnaught made by Jorstaddesigns, my model is the mould king version as a local shop offloaded the project onto me, however I did still purchase the original instructions from the original designer. I believe the mouldking set can be found on Amazon but I recommend getting the original instructions even if you don't chose to build theodel out of LEGO bricks.
Basically I got this in pieces with 20/36 bags partially disassembled and covered in dust. After sorting all the pieces and washing everything it took about 80hrs to put this bad boy together (most of February 2023 doing 6hr days). The model is a little over 10,000 pieces on its own but I've added some minifigures to the interior and a lot of different polybag ships to the exterior. Included is one ISD that is to scale with the entire model, that being the larger one resembling the Micro Star Destroyer 4492. Full list of ships included is as follows: 2x 4492 Star Destroyer Mini 2x Polybag 30056 Mini Star Destroyer 2x Mini Star Destroyers from 75356 midi Executor 2x Polybag Tie Fighter 8028 4x Polybag Tie Interceptor 30685 1x Tie Bomber mini promo from 4484, 4485, 4486, and 4487 1x Micro Tie squad from ron_mcphatty on rebrickable 1x Mini Rebel Squad from rebrickable (don't remember the creator name) 1x Foil pack Resistance Bomber 911944 1x Foil Pack U Wing 911946 1x Micro Tantive from UCS Star Destroyer 75252

Had my MIT interview today and one of the questions was "What problem would you solve if you had infinite resources?". I answered, there are many problems in the world and I can't imagine a world with no problems.
The thing is, if I had infinite resources to solve a problem like world hunger, it would severely disrupt the economy. All farms would be rendered useless due to infinite food and so many people would lose their jobs etc. No matter what problem I think of to solve, solving it causes more consequences than just leaving it be. Either it's entire industries collapsing with many job losses or destroying the global economy and balance.
Also, if all of humanity's problems was truly solved, is there really a point of life? Everyone would be rotting doing nothing all day and nobody would have jobs since the world has everything it needs and there would be no problems.
I didn't explain that much in the interview because I couldn't really expand in the context. But anyways, am I cooked? I think that was the best answer I could've given but I don't think that is an answer they are looking for.
Also there were a few other questions I couldn’t really answer like struggles I had and how I overcame them.

I’m selling a variety of hardware, including RAM, storage devices, servers, graphics cards, and networking cards. I’ve organized everything into a Google Sheets document with five tabs: RAM, storage, servers, graphics cards, and miscellaneous cards.
All parts were removed from a climate-controlled IT environment at my previous job. The RAM and storage were pulled from fully functional servers, and I can test any of the other cards upon request. I had grand visions of using this equipment, but finally caved to my wife's wishes and need to get rid of this stuff.

Hey all, I am new to Denver and haven't done a lot of exploring of the restaurants yet. I am turning 29 soon, and my parents are coming for my birthday and another unrelated event. They want to take me out for dinner and I honestly don't know where to go?
My parents have been dieting a lot recently for their health. They're gluten free/my dad mainly is gluten light (he will have it on occasion but doesn't like how it makes him feel) and my mother specifically is a diabetic so I need some good options for them that are tasty and relatively affordable for a nice occasion (between 20-30USD a plate). I'm pregnant so I'll eat almost anything and so will my partner.
We like spice in my family, but not an excessive amount (I don't need to ghost pepper my food to eat it). I don't want a lot of bland foods which unfortunately from the few restaurants I've tried recently, seem to be abundant. A good chicken quesadilla isn't just supposed to taste like barbequed chicken and cheese for example. And fried chicken should also have spices on it, not just breading that's been fried. It should be way more flavorful.
I'm probably coming across as picky but flavor is important in my family.
Any reccomendations help. Thanks so much!
