Hey, maybe somebody knows about it. I can't remember a name of a japanese movie where director breaks all of the known cinematic techniques. It is also a bit trippy, he start's to tell his approach on a bad cgi submarine and then starts to ruin everything telling about the history of cinema or something like that. I think movie goes for something like 3 hours or so and it was more on a recent side, like late 10s or maybe even 2020 smth.

2025.01.21 03:20 lugaresxcomunes My nephew said that my brother molested him. I am in a state of shock and don’t know what to do.
Today I got a call from my sister. She told me that our brother that is 26 years old had molested his child, my nephew that is only 4 years old. It’s the second time that after being around him, he gets really upset and shows explicit words and signs that he has been molested. I have talked one hour with her and of course I believe my nephew, even thought in my head I don’t want to because it’s too much for me. I would have never thought that my brother could do something like this. We have a history of abuse in the family where my sister was abused by our cousin and my mother had his brother attempted to do it twice. My sister is in a really bad situation emotionally and divorcing from his husband that wants to separate the family because we don’t want him around as he is violent and very toxic and affects my nephew a lot. So I talked with my dad about what is happening and of course my dad is also shocked and don’t want to believe this is true because it should mean the kind son and brother for me has done the worse thing ever and I can’t stop the thoughts of wanting him dead if he really did that, but my dad says that is maybe something that the ex husband is making up and making this little boy believe. I have complex thoughts as my brother is sending me messages saying he can’t believe he is being accused of this, sending me audios crying and I am worried that he does something to himself as he has told me some weeks ago we had suicidal thoughts. Of course I know you would read this and say “he has to kill himself if he did this”. But I cannot have empathy and also at the same time wanting to go to his home, make him confess and slap him in the face and put him in a rehab center or go to the police. He is a brother that was always kind, taking care of mi little sister (we talked today, she can’t believe it neither). Is he sick? How he could do something like this to our cute and only nephew? I can’t believe I am actually writing this and I will delete it soon I guess because writing it is facing that this is real and I am sure I will read horrible comments about my brother. I am the older sister of 4. I feel responsible and I need to do anything I can to protect my nephew but also how I cope if this is actually true and my brother did this? What I do with him? I am devastated but totally disgusted and dissociating because I have never thought this could happen. I don’t want this to be real please. It’s too much pain to face. And too much harm to my nephew and my sister and the whole family.
Please if someone had to deal with something like this, give me advice or tell me how you did it because I don’t know if I can handle this.

Nature is cruel and causes extreme fear and pain for animals daily. Studies have found that there behavioural and physiological similarities in emotional expressions between humans and animals, indicating that it is extremely likely animals feel emotions. There have also been numerous studies, such as ones on domestic animals who have recently had surgery and are demonstrating behaviours reflective of pain which are alleviated after pain relief medications, strongly supporting the theory that animals can experience pain.
When an animal such as a rabbit is chased down and killed by wolves, it is considered part of nature, in other words “normal”, but when a human is chased down and killed by wolves, it is considered a tragedy and a horrible death. Both rabbit and human would have felt intense fear while being chased down, and after being caught, would have felt extreme pain from the wolves’ bites.
Deer are eaten alive by hyenas, wildebeest are pulled underwater by crocodiles and drowned, zebras’ necks are crushed by lions’ jaws, and many more animals suffer horrible deaths from carnivores.
Animals being eaten alive is a particularly terrible death due to the level of pain they experience and how long the experience lasts. Typically, hyenas will tear open their prey’s abdomen and begin pulling out intestines and other internal organs, and due to loss of vital organs and blood, the prey eventually dies. In medieval times, a torture method for humans was created which had similarities to an animal being eaten alive. This method was called “Rat Torture”, in which a person is restrained, often to a table or wall, with their abdomen exposed. A metal pot or cage containing hungry rats would then be placed on the person’s stomach and secured tightly, with the open end facing the stomach, and then the pot or cage would be gradually heated up from the outside using hot coals or fire. Driven by pain and discomfort, the rats would begin to chew and claw through the person’s flesh and internal organs in an attempt to escape. It is said that this torture method “inflicted profound physical and psychological damage”. When the pot or cage is placed on the person’s stomach, they would have experienced extreme fear and anxiety in anticipation for what’s to come, similar to how an injured prey would feel as they being swarmed by hyenas. The anticipation for what was to come as the pot or cage became increasingly hotter was so psychologically terrifying that prisoners, in a state of sheer desperation, would reveal everything they knew in hopes of avoiding further suffering. The pain a person would have experienced from rats chewing and clawing through their flesh and internal organs would have been excruciating, similar to how an animal would feel as hyenas tear open their abdomen and start pulling out their insides.
To further understand what the prey of lions experience when they are gripped by lions’ claws preventing them from escaping, imagine small sharp knives digging into your skin to the point where it is impossible to get away without causing agonising pain and extensive damage. To become more aware of what the prey of crocodiles experience as they are pulled underwater, simply fill up a sink and place your head in face down until you have no choice but to lift your head up and breathe. The prey of crocodiles go beyond this point. These are just a few of the many reasons why action must be taken.
In the future, I believe a world can be achieved in which animals do not have to suffer like they have for countless years. The source of their suffering stems from the existence of carnivores. Carnivores, whose diets consists of only meat, have no choice but to hunt down and kill animals to survive. A world with no carnivores is a world in which their prey do not have to experience intense fear and immense pain daily. To achieve this, all carnivores would have to be killed. Carnivores should not have to suffer painful deaths, so methods such as dart guns with darts that render them unconscious should be used, followed by a lethal injection giving them a painless death. As carnivores no longer exist, animal populations will grow significantly. To address the issue of animal overpopulation, a number of animals should be killed regularly to ensure population numbers are controlled. The method of death used for carnivores should also be used for these animals.
I am aware this seems extreme considering how may carnivores there are on Earth and the scale of what would need to happen, but what’s even more extreme is how much animals have suffered from carnivores in the past and how much more they are going to suffer if nothing is done.

I played Persona 5 Royal ages ago when it was on Game Pass.
I live in the US to start. I decided after so long I would get back into it...I was in the mood after watching a friend play it for a couple of hours.
I wanted to continue from where I left off...only issue is when I bought it off of Amazon I got a pre-owned copy and it was weirdly still sealed but it's a European copy.
I have no clue how the regional differences work with game files and such. So I'm wondering if I started it up will it recognize my save file or will I have to start over?
If I have to start over I might just return it to Amazon under inaccurate description.

My name is John Angus but i go by Angus. I am 26 and live in wellington but from down south and I need a bit of help.
i had to leave my job as a baker of 6 years because my teeth had deteriorated to the point where they are too painful to work through, and too expensive for me to fix on my weekly wage (609 after tax and student loan).
following this, i was advised to seek help through winz who will only cover the cost of my dental in full if i was enrolled as a jobseeker. this jobseeker support gives me 354 per week, i am unsure if this is universal or just me. my rent includes a room and power which comes to $250 a week and after food, petrol and a bottle of coke im flat broke.
Heres the Kicker
I dropped my phone and now ot is unusable. this wouldn't be an issue except i am signed in under the "Phone only case manager" system. i have gone into the local center twice to try face to face for anything but they have all refused (apologetically, the staff are amazing at the center).
so here i am, unable to complete the steps to have dental done or contact any future jobs. my teeth are truly in so much pain the only thing i can do is cry.
the cheapest phone i can find is $30 at the Warehouse but i cant buy it without either being hungry, being stranded or being homeless.
If anyone helps me, i can promise to pay any extra foward however you decide it should be spent and i will provide recipts. please DM me and ill send a bank account.

Looking for some advice on our battery set up in our caravan, hoping to change over to lithium without spending big.
We’ve currently got: - 2 x 120ah AGM batteries - AC/DC = Projecta IDC3500 - 12V 35A 7 stage (our model does not have a battery option for lithium) - DC/DC = Projecta IDC25-9-32V 25A 3 stage + 50A Anderson Plug (no option for lithium settings either) - 2 x 175w solar panels, showing 9V input each
We’re wanting to put 2 x 120ah LIFePO4’s, 50A DC to DC, 50A solar charger (so we can charge simultaneously) and 30/35A AC to DC, and 3 new solar panels.
Seems like most of it will be a direct swap over, anything we should consider or suggestions to make the change?
