2025.01.21 03:29 Akane-Kajiya PCB swap between akko mu02 and mod007b he
i asked a few weeks back if its possible to swap their pcb and nobody really knew. (he pcb inside woodcase of mu02) so i took the risk, bought a mu02 and bought a cheap used mod007b he and tried. it taks some tinkering (the aluminium on the pcb has different mounting brackets, but you can saw off the ones that are in the way on the HE pcb and the leftover ones still give enough support. you also need to swap the usb-c adapter of the cases since they have different connectors on the pcb side, but this is pretty easy and just takes some glue/tape to secure the ucb-c inside the case. you might need to remove the isolation around the cable tho to make it fit under the pcb. you can reuse the battery of the mu02 to power the mod007 pcb since both have the same voltage output and same connectors. on the software side its obviously viewed as a mod007b he since that is the pcb.

and that is all, i can say YES it works perfectly now. i have a great looking wooden keyboard with magnetic hall effect switches now.

Hi all, my first post on Reddit!
My feet are my weak link and I've very particular about the fit of my boots. The Irish Setter Borderland 3866 boots that I've worn forever were discontinued a couple of years ago and I'm still searching for an adequate replacement.
I purchased a pair of US 9-1/2 Blundstone #1477 Men's Thermal Chelsea Boots in Antique Brown and love the look. The length is great, but they are a little too narrow. I've been wearing them in the house, hoping the width will stretch out. What are my chances of the width relaxing around 1/4"?
Also, is there a different Blundstone model that runs wider than the 1477? I ordered a pair of US 9-1/2 Blundstone #2429 Men's Originals Lace Up Boots in Clay, but they were considerably smaller and narrower than the #1477. They've been returned and a 10-1/2 will be delivered this week, but I have my doubts that they will be wide enough:(

All right guys, I need some advice. I freelance as a hobby and side hustle now but professionally freelanced in the past. I have a good 9-5 that is not related to my degree (BFA 2006) that pays well and I travel for work 50% of the year. I have had my 21.5” iMac (2011) since new that was maxed out on ram and hd. I got the entire Adobe creative suite CS6 in 2012 and the computer and all the programs still run flawlessly. I back up everything monthly. I use photoshop, illustrator, indesign, and digital drawing apps on my iPad (illustrator, photoshop, procreate) pretty often. The problem is that I’ve run into the technology lag issue where the creative cloud is something I’m unfamiliar with and there’s new Adobe features I would love to utilize. I don’t intend on ramping up the freelance business anymore than currently but get too much work to not have a good setup. I know what my next computer will be if I take that step. Rock this setup until the wheels fall off or get a new MacBook and do the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription before it’s too late? Thanks!
