Hi all, I need some help with my kitten. She’s nine months old. Just got spayed five days ago. I’m worried about it being infected. I had to go out of town and left her in someone else’s care but i’m worried she wasn’t watched well. Can yall tell me what you think? I’m going to get her checked in the morning. First picture was yesterday. Second picture was this morning. Third picture was a few minutes ago. I’ve been watching her. She’s been eating and using the bathroom. Been very tired (of course). Playing a little bit. Any questions or help would be appreciated. I haven’t had any cats spayed under my care before (due to having rescues that got spayed before being in my care). I’m just a worried cat mom. Thanks.

2025.01.21 03:20 throwawayeas989 My ex reached out to apologize 7 months later. I feel worse.
He ghosted me back in July. We had met online and were long distance. He was insecure,was convinced that I would leave him or that I was a scammer because I was “out of his league.” Feels so dumb to say that out loud. I had moved on,met other people and had come to terms with the fact that it was over and I would never hear from him again,or gain understanding of why he did what he did. I had stupidly broken no-contact in early October,and apologized for being mad that he ghosted me. I hadn’t even said anything ugly to him or blown up on him,but I was struggling with the breakup and so desperately wanted some understanding of how the man who had told his family about me,and let his friends know that he had “met the love of his life” could ghost me so coldly.
Yesterday,I checked my watch at work to see a name that I hadn’t in a while. He sent me this “Hey, wanted to say sorry for not responding before. I shouldn’t have put my head in a whole and realized you definitely were a real person lol. Hope (my town name) hasn’t been too boring for ya”.
I stupidly got excited,thinking that at the very least I could gain some understanding of what happened,because it has haunted me for a bit. I wait a few hours and send a nice message saying that I hold no ill will towards him,that life has been good down here and that I hope he is doing well. I also thanked him for the time we spent together,and said that I had so much gratitude for the support,kindness and joy he had shown me. Which was partly true,but I am angry at him. I just am scared to ever show negative emotions towards someone,and thought that maybe I could get the answers I sought if I was kinder. My friends said I should have waited days to reply,and sent a short answer.
Of course he doesn’t even read my message or respond. I feel like he was just popping in 4 months later to assuage his own guilt and make himself feel better. I prefer if he hadn’t contacted me at all,because now I feel like I’m back to the beginning,wondering why he reached out now,and can’t even read my message,let alone respond to me. All of the memories and feelings came rushing back. I feel like shit.

2025.01.21 03:20 HTHRHLN 6.5m Short Naps - Need Help
My 6.5 month old has only napped for 30 minutes max for months now. We’re on 3 naps. She’s started doing even less per nap at 15-17 minutes per nap over the last week.
She sleeps overnight starting from around 6-6:30pm and sleeps until 6am (with only one wake up for a bottle). Her wake windows are roughly 2-2.5/3-3.5/3-3.5/3-3.5.
We rock her and transfer her drowsy into her crib for naps. Tried independently napping her in her crib but she rolls around then bumps her head and screams everytime.
I tried making WW longer to go down to 2 naps but she just can’t make it and she still only napped for 27 minutes.
Tried going back to 4 naps but she refused the 4th!
Moved bedtime later and she started waking up at 5am.
Please help - how can we get her to nap longer (without contact naps). I’m losing my mind!

2025.01.21 03:20 SMMPAMAN Mac Mail not showing on iCloud
I was running Mojave on an internal Fusion Drive on a 2019 iMac. It was slower and slower 10 min+ boot. So I installed an external SSD then used migration assistant to move mail, photos, and documents to the new drive.
I upgraded to MacOS Sequoia. Boots in about a minute including the login to my VPN. I thought all was working very well. However, today I noticed that when I looked in iCloud that there were no emails visible? I decided to sign into iCloud on the web. It showed space allocated to mail, but no emails were visible. I have been syncing for years, and have a folder structure listed in task bar on the left side of the mail screen. But there are no emails present. My mail syncs ok between my iPad, iPhone, and Mac so I assume that syncing is working? I’ve got no idea what is up or what my next area should be. Any help would be appreciated.
I apologize if there is a better subreddit that I should be using.
